I'm gonna stick with my vote from yesterday. Not seeing anything to change my mind besides more spam/fluff and the soft-meta defense others have said don't necessarily mean anything to me. I've seen Verb say it himself that good players will manipulate meta for their advantage.

I didn't have time to comment on it yesterday, the part I bolded and made violet makes it seem like he already knows I'm the doc or at the very least a townie. Willing to vote here.

No, I don't find that part suspicious. I find your wording that you are stating for fact that I am the doc in your post suspicious.

Which leads me back to the last question: Did I have reason to be doubtful? I wasn't the only person to mention not wanting to vote the claimed Doc, several others actually had their votes on you and unvoted after your claim. You don't find them suspicious for believing it?

Believing Despo? About what? What did he say that you agreed with? It's easy to claim that you were in lockstep with someone after their flip, but I never saw you agreeing with anything he said before that. For that matter, I never saw you say anything at all.

How can it be a policy lynch when I don't remember ever playing a game with him? That's ridiculous. My vote is based entirely on his gameplay in this game. Which the reasons I gave for voting him clearly state.

I don't believe Verbal has taken a stand on anything yet.  He's doing a great job of hiding any intentions he has, which means late game he can't really be held to the fire on anything. 

 

He jumps ahead of Ishy on my list.  My top 3 candidates are Wombat, Ishy, Verbal.

Yeah I know it would make it easy for GF to abuse his meta, but I'd rather deal with that later in that case. It's still D2.

it's pretty complicated, but utterly valid.  The mafia may have been scared of Des, but it certainly wasn't for anything he did yesterday.  His top two were Hoof and Leelou.  Therefore, they had another reason for killing Des.  One that wouldn't have worked on Verbal or me.  I gave 3 scum reads yesterday.  Des, you, and Peace.  That the mafia killed Des shows me that they probably wanted me to move away from my reads by killing a townie who was in them.  They probably figured that they could brush it off as WIFOM.  And that's where they fell for my trap.  If the mafia really wanted to WIFOM it up, they should have killed me.  But I'd already WIFOM'd them so they were scared of doing it.  Because it would be WIFOMing with one of their members' lives.  They also probably thought they could get me lynched if they killed Despo.  Silly of them.  So they tried to hedge by killing one of my reads who had also FoS'd me to make town doubt me.  But that's where they messed up.  If there were no scum in my scum reads (highly unlikely), they should have aimed elsewhere knowing that I would probably continue to press my scum reads.  But they didn't.  Cuz there's scum there.  So at least one of you and Peace is probably scum.  And that's where Monty Hall comes in.  The mafia showed me a goat by killing Despo, so now I'm switching doors and voting you.  And I'm gonna win a brand new car.

 

 

I'm truly on the fence with you.  I get the nagging feeling you're trying to manipulate me with some of your posts, but then you say something like this that I 100% agree with.  Specifically the bold - this is what a smart scum team will do with a good townie scumhunter that isn't on the right track - they'll keep him alive and let him lead the town down the wrong path.  We do it with the Ape all the time, so this stands out to me as townie points for you.

 

As it stands, I'm keeping my eye on Wombat, but will not vote him today.

 

I'd be inclined to potentially vote GF - Ishy is in the right on that subject, and I'd support it with my vote.

You won't want to deal with it at endgame when you have no real info on him to base a vote on.  Then you're shooting blind with the game on the line.
