If public sentiment was shifting toward AJ when Dice made the move then it looks bad.

 

Can you check to see if Dice's read on AJ developed "organically" (you can see why he thinks AJ is scum) or if it just kind of materialized?

With only 10 hours to deadline Cloud and I are the only trains with more than 1 vote. We really shouldn't let this go random. Those not voting should vote.

 

Have I switched my reads on people? Yes, I'm having a hard time reading some tbh.

 

I do think Ishy and Cloud are scum. 

 

There are some I'm not sure of but that always happens to me. I'm getting a town vibe from Tom and thinking Key is more likely town. (The reason is the bulk of my case on her seemed to be wrong on my part).

 

Krak I'm leaning scum due to Golden's play. Lily I can't really say as Hallu went quiet so long ago and hadn't posted much.

 

Darthe seems disinterested and I'm not sure if he's scum or possibly survivor but I'm not leaning town anymore. 

 

Despo seems to be honestly trying to scumhunt so even though I liked the points Key made, still leaning town here.

 

Those I'm unsure of are: Dice, and Lily. 

 

As for Luci...I really wasn't sure as the majority of the case against her was that post to Dice about fluffing when he wasn't. Her recent posts however strike me more as caring an aweful lot how she appears. She also got heated with me a bit and seemed to be getting emtionally involved. (Like I hit a nerve so she said she had hit one on me...) This could just be her being new. I thought she'd played in more than just this game..pretty sure she has but it might have been only one other. If that's the case then it could just be newness, if not, then she's playing us.

 

Luci: how many games, besides this one, have you played?

Here are the votes for AJ. I'd like to explain that I'm not arguing that Aida was the better lynch. I don't think either of them was a good lynch. Just noting his switch so close to deadline.

 

 

 

Ishy and AJ both defending Kaylee like this makes me nervous. Ishy not as much, although he had an earlier post I didn't like; he knows Kay's meta enough to make that determination (tho I disagree about his saying she always liked getting the game started). AJ doesn't really know enough to say yet, and in general his defense of her just strikes me as off. Thinking of switching to either.

Cloud then added what amounted a THIRD vote and i questioned it but his response seemed reasonable enough. I was watching the cloud/kaylee show and commented on something that struck me in it. Now because i was watching I saw kaylee admit to being more aggressive then normal. I think you were twisting her statement AJ.

@ Cloud - I hardly think voting for two people (on D1 no less) is going with the flow with my votes. Also, Luci was not in the spotlight at the point that I posted. Des, AJ, me and dice were all discussed in between her posts and mine. Your defense of her is noted.

 

Cloud/AJ - The Survivor claiming now/ever unless necessary is a silly idea. While the survivor isn't anti-town, they aren't town either so they are likely to be a lynch target because it's better than losing a townie. The Survivor wants to stay alive, so s/he is going to be scumhunting anyway. Also, claiming when not necessary is not really in the spirit of the game.

 

Blind lynching, whilst sucks, is often the case on D1. All of the trains are small ( 3 or fewer) so the point of next highest votes is fairly nil. Voting an inactive D1 is lazy. It won't tell us anything and if she's not been here, probability says she's VT because otherwise her scummates would be prodding her to post.

This. I was hoping AJ was kidding because it's a flat dumb idea. I understand Cloud jumping on the idea, he seemingly has no clue what he's doing. AJ, you should know better.

@Tom: You are linking me and Dice together only because he said that I'm always scummy. I also think that this sounds like an easy excuse to get me lynched, and it is one of the reason that he is on my scumlist. I mentioned to you that he is usually seen as scummy in Mafia because you were wondering about it in a previous post. I already said that my vote on Kay isn't only based on her changing her mind about Key, and I have also already given my reasons for suspecting Golden/Krak so I don’t see why you are so dead set on on wanting me lynched.
 

Tried dropping a towntell here (I say towntell cause really a townie shouldn't be as concerned with how their moves make them look, should only really be concerned with catching scum). Seems forced tho.

You can call every reaction in this game forced if you are convinced that someone is mafia.

I didn’t even mention a speedlynch in this game. My comment towards Kaylee was just a meant to add some pressure.
 

Cloud says he doesn't have much of a reason... really a townie should never say something like this, especially not day 1. It's like an anti-discussion generator. You should always have a reason for your vote, even if it's something as lame as wanting to bandwagon (something Nolder likes to do), or consolidation.

I had a reason for my vote on Aida. I didn’t want to lynch AJ or Luci, and Aida was one of the highest trains so I voted for her instead. In a way it’s similar to consolidating on someone. You can’t expect me to have a gameplay reason for why I wanted Aida lynched because she hardly had any posts.
 

Combative attitude. No like. Town should almost always want to make sure a lynch is secured, so that SOME info can be obtained. Ping.

Where do you see a combative attitude? I only told everyone that I was going to bed, and wished them good luck on achieving a lynch. AJ looked to be the one who would get lynched, but I decided I wouldn’t vote for him after I saw Golden place that ridiculous scummy vote on him.




 

This is funny- Cloud went after Kaylee heavily day 1, yet switches to going after Golden day 1 because Golden is voting Kaylee. For a post meant to show a contradiction in someone else, it reveals somewhat of a contradiction on Cloud's part instead

I wasn’t contradicting myself when I voted for Golden because he switched his vote to Kay. My scum read on Kay hadn’t changed; I noticed that he was contradicting himself about his read on her which together with his vote on AJ made me think that he is scum. I admit that it made me second guess myself for a moment about my read on Kay, but he probably tried to distance himself from her and failed horribly with doing so.
 

Quoted mainly cause he says he has a town read on Key, which I don't agree with, and a scum read on Dice, and he eventually comes back to say Dice always appears scummy. Saying someone seems scummy to you, but then telling someone else that person always seems scummy = you yourself are scummy.

So you think I’m scum because I don’t agree with you about one player? I do have a scum read on Dice, and like I said I was only answering Tom when I mentioned that Dice is usually seen as scummy in Mafia. This doesn’t change my read about him in the slightest though, because his actions in this game were questionable and I’m not going to rely on meta when someone has been playing as he did.
 

Conclusion: Cloud is a pretty good lynch for today, can give us some info on Dice. He also has laid really low this game, which for him is a scumtell since he normally attracts a lot of attention early on in games.

When I talk a lot during Day 1 I get lynched because people think I’m always scummy, and when I try to change my meta by not being as vocal I get lynched again because I’m not talking enough.
