I don't know why you're so attached to me and Des being opposite alignments.  I personally believe it's true, but your read on Des should be based on his actions, not mine.  I'd definitely like to lynch Des today.  I don't want to lynch Pralaya in the slightest.

 

My read on both of you is based on gameplay each of you has shown.  It seems like opposite ends of the spectrum to me, so I've been thinking all along that only 1 of you is scum.  It also seems that when I'm leaning scum on you, I'm leaning town on Des for different reasons.....it isn't solely based on you (or him).

Remember when Nolder started this game, he said that he did not need a fixed number of people and he can start the game with any number. And, looking at the dead people, it looks more and more like the setup is just vanilla+doc and most probably just goons. 

 

@BFG It is lylo and I don't want to give any opportunity for speedlynch. So would want to hear all the viewpoints and then vote

But I'd add Pral to the list and make it 2 of the 3 (Pral, GE, Des) as scum.  I disagree with your reason for clearing Pral from that group.

Your brilliant reads have been straight garbage all game dude, so drop the condescending admonitions. You're actually changing the setup in your mind in order to justify your vote. Ishy just confirmed my claim that BFG misrepped as a "slip" and Verbal got all excited about. Pral straight up states that "items" don't exist, yet both you and Ishy have received them. My role is based on the existence of these items and I put that out there without knowing if anyone other than Ish could corroborate that cause it's freakin true. You have received a potion and that only confirms my role. This game is a case study on how people "game" themselves into making poor decisions without the need for active scum.

 

One of my early scum reads flipped town.  Stuff like that happens sometimes.  What reads have you issued outside of tunneling on Pralaya?  Easy to claim your reads are superior when they don't flip.

 

I change my assumptions when my conclusions are inadequate.  I chose the one that was most likely to be faulty.  Why should I cling to traditional setup notions when it is clear that at least one of them does not apply (we do not seem to have a cop), and when that very change would disadvantage the town quite a bit?

 

BFG didn't misrep anything.  She found a contradiction that has since been resolved.  Verbal was the one who made like it was a slip.

 

Pral said he believed items don't exist.  Something that scum would almost certainly not have said if either you or Ishy were town.

 

Your role may be based on the existence of items, but that doesn't say anything about your alignment.  If Ishy is town and no one else seems to have item roles, then why would the town have your role?  If the scum have item roles, then why would Pralaya have discounted the possibility?  Me receiving a potion confirms Ishy's role, not yours.  And even if your role were confirmed, your alignment wouldn't be.

 

 

That said, Des & GE are on both of our lists.  More importantly, I go back to early in the game when I stated my strong feeling that either you or Des was scum.  If you're scum, you've fooled me this game.  I have a strong town lean on you, which means I'm leaning strong scum on Des.

I wasted a day thinking Verbal was scum, but I suspect you've wasted years mistaking your condescension for a "dry wit", so we'll call it a wash. I've also expressed suspicion of Des and BFG. If I had to bet, I'd say Des if the outspoken front man of a Pral BFG Des scum team. But you feel free to have your own opinions, just as I'll feel free to dismiss them flippantly.

Eh at this point getting lynched out of this game would be a mercy move for me. Dunno if y'all noticed, but Ive been apathetic to say the least about this game for some time. Nolder pissed me off with the crazy early deadline D1, then the multiple modkills. Have tried to get a better attitude bout it but every time Im catching up in games I'm always dragging my feet by the time I get to this one.

 

Anyways, Golden, Pray, Ishy and Wombat are my top suspects. Town reads on Verb and BFG.

I can be pedantic yes, but you are dead wrong on the accusation of condescension and repeating it over and over again won't make it true.  Neither will resorting to ad hominem attacks erase the fact that you are losing this argument and cannot refute my points logically.  In fact, it only makes it clearer for those who are reading our words critically.  Especially when you did the exact same thing to Pralaya to justify your tunneling on him by calling him a weak player who gets emotionally upset.

 

You have not posted reads often.  You have tunneled on Pralaya, and to a lesser extent BFG, almost completely for inactivity relating to their timezone(s).  As for wasting a whole day thinking Verbal was scum, if you're referring to the day you posted that trumped up case on Verbal for being fluffy (which piggybacked my own accusations btw) only to switch to hammer Blackhoof when you got the slightest pressure, then I'm going to call that a blatant misrep.  Your play that day was opportunistic at best.  You looked like you wanted to lynch anyone but yourself.  As for your suspicion of Des, I don't remember much along those lines until today when you said you'd vote him.  But it's hard to remember a lot of your play.  For all your accusations against Pralaya, his play is more memorable and more pro-town than yours.

I noticed that you've been acting apathetic for some time.  Whether that results from actual apathy, I am highly skeptical of.  You are very good at AtE and fake emo and I hardly ever see you get apathetic.  Even when you were mad as hell in some of the most frustrating games I've been in with you, you haven't given in to apathy.  I don't see this as being town behavior from you.  I'm having trouble deciding whose AtE I dislike more between you and Goldeneyes.

First of all, I disagree that I'm "good" at AtE and fake emo. Every time Ive tried it, Ive gotten myself lynched. You and others have sniffed it out before.

 

Second, the last Nolder game I played was a bit of a turning point for me, dunno if you noticed. I had the scum team completely pegged, but let another player get under my skin and my team lost because of that. At that point I decided to not let my emotions get the better of me like that in a mafia game again. Since then, if I start getting super frustrated, I just check out for a bit and go watch a movie or play a game or something. Unfortunately, this has made me a bit apathetic at times.

 

This came to a head this game however for a couple reasons. The first is obvious- it pissed me off that we had such a crappy day 1 because of the sudden ridiculous deadline, and the modkills. I tried going for a reread the other night, and had to stop cause I started getting pissed off again. I feel like that day 1 completely screwed us, and I think that's a big reason why my reads have been so muddled this game.

 

The second is that I really am in too many games at once. Four is just too many to keep up with, and Ive found this out before. Two that I signed up for started sooner than I expected, and I thought another one would have ended a lot sooner. Because I already was irritated at this game, I kept leaving it for last when I would catch up at night, and then ended up running out of time to catch up a couple of times.

 

I'm not trying to make excuses however, I still should have sucked it up a while ago and gotten over myself. And I should have known not to sign up for another game. If we end up losing this game I take the loss completely on my shoulders.

Anyways, back to gameplay: with no cop claim I believe Ishy's claim. Looks like he's our only investigative role.

 

So that means Ishy, Wombat, and Verb are clear in my book (if Verb was lying the real Doc would have come forth by now since we're at lylo). I also got a town read on BFG.

 

That leaves Golden and Pray. Ishy's claim looking more believable doesn't really make Golden's any better, it still could have been an opportunistic fake claim. And I still think Pray could be scum since if he was town, he would have been hammered (I know I'm town, and looks like Ishy is as well). Golden could have been bussing Pray, I dunno.

 

Is there anyone I'm leaving off this?

Nope, that's it. I could be wrong about BFG of course. But for now I think Golden is our best chance for catching scum today.
