Just finished re-skimming 10 pages of people posting self-congratulatory high fives at how witty smart they believe they are. Despite all of these useful posts, I will

vote Pralaya for the following reasons:

1. Inactivity is at best an anti-town move
2. Pral was almost just almost removed from the game by the mod for inactivity 
3. Pral failed to show up in Day 1 of the last game I played in. Town lynched his lover and we went down 2 players right off the bat. He could have at least shown up and voted for someone else or defended in that game but he didn't. He's following the same pattern of inactivity here and I'm not willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

 

 

Or in other words, an OMGUS vote.

 

Like the games I have played before, I am usually less active during the Day 1-3 and pick up pace once that passes. That is my style of the game, this one is no different.

Okay so thought running audit might give me some time to cool off, but no, I'm still pretty freaking pissed about this.

 

Wtf Nol? Why do you have such a sadistic streak when it comes to modding games bro? I mean seriously, first all the bs in the KoH game, which I don't even want to get into, but you know my feelings about, and then this crap. WHY do you like screwing town so hard man?!?!?! Seriously, we're effed. That's probably the least effective scumhunting day 1 I've ever seen town have. We are now set up for failure, it's practically a crap shoot here on out unless we get lucky with some investigative actions.

 

I just, I don't even know what you get out of this. You apparently dislike inactivity so much on DM that you seem like you want to "punish" town in your games till people play the way you want them to play... do you even get how lame this is for people that sign up to play a GAME? A mod's first priority should be making the game enjoyable for all their players, period. You obviously have an agenda when it comes to modding lately, however, and it really makes it extremely unenjoyable for me. Did we have the most active start to this game? No. But I've seen other games that started off even slower that ended up being very exciting games. Seriously dude, like 3 games JUST started at the same time. I know how you feel about people being in multiple games, but couldn't you have tried letting it slide for just a bit longer to see if activity picked up?

 

As much as I would kind of like to, I'm not gonna emo out and ask for a replacement. But yeah, this is the last game of yours I sign up for man.

Just because you're inactive in every game doesn't mean you'll get a free pass in this one, or any game I play with you for that matter. Thought you had a lot of promise when you wrecked that one scum team with your Busdriver role, but your inactivity lately really disappoints me.

That's not wise btw. You shouldn't change your play much depending on what role you have, just makes it easier for opposing teams to figure you out easier.

Frankly speaking, I am bored of being vanilla town in all my games. It is not anyone's fault, just a statistical thing, however improbable it is.. I don't remember ever being a town PR other than that bus driver role or unless I had replaced somebody. It gets monotonous after a while, unless there is some variety.

for all the stuff we had and were discussing this strikes me as odd, on re-read. there were suspicions on me and Cloud, but he ignores all that and votes Pral for a nulltell reason, admitting that it is "at best anti-town". I'm not saying that he should have bandwagoned, but weighing in on the discussion would have been good.

but there was even less reason to vote for pral. Cloud was town, so it wasn't a desperate attempt to deflect attention (nor would the scum try something so obvious) so I am not sure what it means

It means I was not present to make observations at the time the comments were made. I didn't agree with the train on Cloud and frankly, I didn't really understand the one on you all that much. Maybe there are some "tells" I was supposed to pick up on that would lead me to agree you two were scum, but I didn't. I literally had no reads.

The rules states that there would be no modkill if we didn't vote for someone and I just joined today. Since we had already lost one town I thought it more prudent to just let night come rather than jump on a train for the heck of it and risk a mislynch. And I wasn't wrong, I didn't vote Cloud and he turned out to be town. Though the fact that Ishy was annoyed I wouldn't jump on a train gives me my first scummy read.

 

I realize BFG didn't vote either, but I'm still salty with Pral over his inactivity in our last game. If getting mad at me prompts his activity in this one and my vote woke him up, good. If he remains active tomorrow, then I won't vote for him on that basis.
