I think you're coasting because when you do post you're afraid you'll say something to tip your hand. Verb, I subbed into this game after having just died in a game where we went down by two players day 1- lenlo and pral were lovers and neither bothered to claim before lento got voted out of the game. Pral had a total of 2-3 posts in that entire day 1. I came in and saw that he was yet again inactive and it set me off so I voted for him and told him he needed to be active in this game. Had he simply posted a bit of game-related stuff I probably would have looked at someone else. He never showed up before the Day 1 deadline to vote for anyone.

 

His response has been to spend the rest of the game defending how inactivity is his meta and then talking about me.  I thought at first he may really just be inactive, but he does show up in this thread to defend himself every time his name is mentioned, so he's obviously reading and trying to lay low. I was looking elsewhere with my vote today, but he started the day with such a weasauce post. He didn't count Day 1 lynch votes, because my vote was on him presumably and he had to count a "near-lynch" to get my name in there. I unvoted you when you claimed Doc. Then he leaves Des off of his suspects list, while Des is the only other person who voted for me yesterday.

So AJs initial reason for voting Cloud was because of the 'fake QT' joke, yet AJ included himself in the conversation before Cloud did.  Additionally I thought AJs initial reaction was good, his second pinged, then Cloud flipped Town and it didn't seem as bad again.

 

However he then also includes Clouds 'turnaround' on Blackhoof...

I would still consider Cloud's vote on you to be a turn around. I've seen him latch onto a lot of stuff early, and seeing as how the pressure was shifting from him to you, for him to switch his vote was scummy to me.

 

 

Actually the attention was switching more to Leelou based on votes, Darthe was still cheering for Clouds lynch and yours and Verbs votes didn't waver.

 

Also why ask Wombat about Leelou/Golden and not Blackhoof since at the end of the day Wombats vote was on Blackhoof...

Not really digging the soft claim from Verb. Womby seems to be poking around a lot so I'm leaning more Town on him.

 

Des is playing as Des. Btw, in regards to why I brought your name up earlier. It was more meant to be a joke but it was something I could totally see you saying in one of your massively long WoTs about Cloud and Leelou for their early back and forth.

 

BH's crown for the D1 lynchee is in serious jeopardy by the contender Cloud. Slight scum lean here.

 

I'm leaning GE as Town for his stubbornness towards Pral.

 

I think Ishy is probably a good bet for scum. He seems to be sort of coasting through, commenting on issues that aren't very relevant. His evening of the trains thing sort of stands out and then later the switch back to Cloud in order to secure the lynch seems off.

 

Pral is null for me until he decides to start playing again.

 

BFG I've got as another possible scum read. Playing quiet this game (could be work) but after her re-read of today the only thing she brings up is the VC. Doesn't come off as really trying to find scum.

 

In short I'm leaning Town for Des, Womby, GE and Verb as an outlier.

I never said my vote was a joke, but I am taking a page out of Dap's book and evening out the trains to see who is going to switch things up.

 

I agree with some of the points BFG has brought up regarding your actions towards Cloud's flip. 

 

Also, I'm reading Verb as Town (regardless of the soft claim) and looking at Wombat's post earlier regarding the voting patterns Des and BH look pretty sketchy, therefore I have chosen not to be on the same wagon as them.

Heh, you can try as much as you want as to spin this into an OMGUS but can clearly see that it is the other way round,. And I pointed that out in Day 1 too as soon as you posted. Anyway, the trains are a pretty good way to look at scum. Unless you want to claim that the scum stayed out of town lynches.

You're nitpicking. Des and Pral were the only people who had votes on me at the end of the day. I could care less if people voted me during the day and their votes came off.

Although I'm still not a fan of his 'nudge' on the trains Day 1, or his early hammer yesterday (unless I'm wrong on timezones, Golden hammered 17 odd hours before the new deadline...)

 

Starting to think Town, or maybe third party on Golden.

 

At the moment the only person to have not voted Leelou/Golden at all is Verb, and with the exception of Des we've all voted him at a time when he could get lynched.  On Day 1 the other trains were on Cloud/Blackhoof and Day 2 on Verb/Blackhoof there were other lynches with decent reasons to jump on instead, although since Day 1 votes were wiped out by Nolder it's impossible to know how that train would have ended.  It could be a gambit, but seems unnecessary.

@BFG:  interesting note about AJ and the reads he put out.  He noted the most active players as his "town reads", and had null/scum reads on easy players (meaning easy to support).  Also, being the outlier with a random vote on you when everybody else was consolidating on the major trains is total distancing.  Scum like to spread votes - this looks to be a good example of it.

I wrote that in like 10 seconds.

If there are any hints to be found they're more likely to be found in the longer flavor scenes.

And I can honestly say I don't remember whether I put any hints or not so it may be a waste of your time just to check.
