The last I'm torn on. I keep going back and forth on BFG, thought she was mafia, then she had a post that made me lean town, and then she went after me with a weak case.

I haven't gotten a good read off Ishy or you yet, and Peace's bomb claim is a bit weird for a basic.

If it comes down to it, I'd much rather lynch scum, but I'd be ok with being today's lynch if it helps clear up who everyone is thinking is scum.

Peace's claim isn't sitting right with me. BFG I'm leaning more town on, but there was the case on you once Theo had a train start to build. I'm going back and forth on Ishy. I agree on Dora and Err.

I'm willing to ive Peace the benefit of the doubt, for now. If Dora is town (although I find that to be extremely, extremely unlikely) he'll be whom I'm looking at tomorrow.

I got a sneaking suspicion we still have two competing trains at this point of the day cause both are on mafia. That being said, Theo is the obviously scummier one of the two. Def flailing at this point. Now her vote on Ishy day 1 was to get him active, and not "to see how a master of mafia defends himself"? And how is Much on a good fake claim? She's a major character, either she's in the game or she was a mod provided fake claim. A good fake claim would be some fringe character that might not be in the game.

 

I can change my vote if need be but Theo really should be our lynch today.

Anybody feel very strongly against either train? If so, I'd like to hear your reasons. I'm firm on my vote, but I don't think you can let things be set in stone in this game. I already recognize the group's reasons given for voting for both parties.

I don't have a read yet on Leelou, but I have a very strong scum read on Dora. I'm not willing to give up a read I feel that strongly about unless I absoutley have to to avoid random.

Obviously I feel pretty strongly against my lynch, and pretty strongly that Theo is scum. Like I said though, I'd rather you guys secure a lynch and will be able to gauge things from my flip if necessary.

And Theo, feel free to continue Fos'ing me over my Len vote, but I was 100% consistent in my voting pattern on Day one. I voted Dap to get him active. It worked. I voted Mish to get her active. It worked. I voted Len to get him active. He didn't, and decided to make one joke post, then disappear again. His lynch is on him, not me.

 

I voted you to get you active, but then you started voting and Fos-sing townies.

Guys, I'll need some help, please - if the Mafia game is based on a real series like this one. Does our alignment has something to do with our character's faith? I was a bit intrigued by what AJ said - look at the name of the day "...Fear the living". And I know what happens to Andrea (Despo's claimed char), not to spoil anyone's pleasure of the series but she well...you know.

 

Ok, this is all a bit jumbled, it's late.

 

These two posts from Dora stand out.  Changing her story about why she voted Ishy and prodding Andrea as she dies when Shane does as well (according to wiki) is 'odd'.

 

There are others as Mish/Des have pointed out, but these two are solely based on actions and not words or semantics.

 

 

I was wary of Leelou at the beginning of Day 2 as despite the postcount she seemed to be slipping under the radar.

(I don't really agree that voting to save your own skin is a mafia tell.  A normal townie can only be sure of their own alignment, why wouldn't they vote to save it?)

 

 

 

At the moment I'm not comfortable with eithers posts but I also disagree with fundamental parts of the initial cases against both of them.  Specifically I'm uncomfortable with Goldens vote count analysis.  From the other two games I've played in Mafia don't tend to be that organized (of course they lost both of those so, shrugs, (yes the werewolves won)).

 

On Dora I don't like Des's suggestion of lynching Dora to test Peace as I don't see how it does that.  His idea/assumption of a serial killer seemed to come out of nowhere (yes there's no evidence against, but there's no evidence for).  However the case that's built after isn't based on this.

BFG, I'll try to explain why voting to save your own skin is scummy.

 

As Vanilla Townies, obviously your first priority is finding, and lynching, the mafia. But Vanilla's have a very, very important secondary duty. They exist to help protect the Town power roles. It's our job to do everything we can during the day to attract the night kill so that the Doc or Cop or any other power role isn't targeted instead. And yes, if need be, sacrifice yourself to the lynch so that someone with a power role isn't lynched instead.

 

Where everyone messes up is that they forget that the goal isn't to SURVIVE. It's to WIN. If you're Town, and die on Day one, but Town wins the game, you still win. Whether dead or alive, you share the victory or defeat with your team. And if by dying, you can help your team achieve victory, then you've played well.

i dont trust Leelou, Mish, (Ishy or BFG either one is a scum).... i m not hoping on a train for which they are all voting for together ..... 

 

golden, dap are townys and i think theo is also more likely a towny (even tough she could be voting for Leenlo just to save herself from lynch).... and so i would never expect anyone else especially mafia going after leenlo to lynch.....
