Not bob will be inspected if tress is mafia.

Are you trying to dictate my views now? FoS. I'm gonna view who I feel like, and none other have anything to say about it.

Kaylee, GF seems to have two votes.

I've already said that there is no voting shananigans. I was trying to update while at lunch. Next time it'll wait till I get to the computer.

Hey, it was still useful and clear enough. :-)

Just pointed it out in blue to get your attention for an eventual fix. Did I do wrong ? :-(

I have no reason to doubt Mish's cop claim. I don't like the small nudges at her to reveal more.

I know that she's an experienced player and thus she would know when to speak up (with a guilty or an innocent read). So yea, the scumhunt should proceed.

I don't like these posts in particular.

thing is Mish, I don't make assumptions.  as a proclaimed finder, if you vote someone generally people assume you found that person as scum1.

which is why I ask that you state if you did or didn't find scum at night2.

it just helps to make everything clear imo, so everyone is on the right page.3  they have a saying about people who assume

mish i think you should say what u have found. what happens if u die?4 We have confirmed townies but dont know it

1) Well, why is that wrong?

2) Fish more? You don't know whom to go after?

3) Why should everyone be on the right page?

4) That's a valid point (risk and reward). But she has the whole day to share her views if she wills.

TL;DR: Revealing info as a cop limits interactions and helps maffia (they are well-informed already, why tell them who are in the clear & who is guilty).

Yes, the cop has to give their information sometime, but they should have a good reason for that as it has advantages and disadvantages at any time.

@Red

I don't think you get my point here.

The point is that (on any day) the finder should not even reveal whether they found scum or not. Not at the beginning of the day anyway. That helps by keeping the suspense up (and keeping the maffia in the dark about what the finder got). Makes sure interactions aren't limited. This is a good strategy when scum is found in the night and a good strategy when townie is found in the night. No difference there.

The finder got the whole day to decide on whether they want to reveal any information on that particular day. That's a decision that they need to make any day.

Your (1) is quite scummy by the way. No, we do not need to know why the finder is voting a person. That only helps the maffia! I'm sure they would like to know when they are busted, for instance. Makes reactions easy and trivial.

Having competing trains and non-trivial scumhunting always helps.

I'm liking these posts from Csarmi.

It's usually really obvious when a revealed cop has a guilty on someone, unless they're intentionally trying to conceal it to see what reactions they get.  And if the cop is concealing their results to get more information, well that's probably for the best.  When they come out and say "So-and-so is scum" and vote them, what normally happens is a lightning fast train where nobody has to bother to give their reasons for voting, and it's easier for scum to toss in a bus vote and get lost in the speed lynching crowd.

Mish will let us know when she wants us to know.
