Benefit of the doubt says Thorum shot Praya, and with no mafia RB in play, or counterclaim yet forthcoming, what is the deal.

NK - Basel. No info kill, or what? I suspect mafia trying to hit an unprotected PR maybe, but anyway. He had claimed Titan, yes?

My first guess was (once it was dawn and Ithi said she protected herself) that Thorum vig'd Basel and maffia tried to NK Ithi anyway.

My second guess was that both maffia and vig targeted Basel. Made sense as a kill for maffia (for the reasons you mentioned: Titan + low info) and made sense for Vig (get the wifom out of the way, at worst a vanilla lost)

I don't know. I tend to put in a lot of effort either case. History says I post more as town, I'm more timid as scum. Gotta work on that yet.

Other looney theory is that pralaya is mafia (but not godfather), and that he was busdriven to Basel.

In either case, someone was shot at, not protected by the town doc, and didn't die.

 

It's quite possible (even likely) that a scum has some sort of NK immunity (or a maffia-aligned healer).

The way I see it, one of Pral / Thorum should be that guy.

 

We should know more when everyone chimes in.

Bolded. Yup, Pralaya never claimed anything. That's the point. Never seen a town PR with low postcount? You had very low information. That's essentially a blind shot there.

True, but we need to ask that question to the vig. I have no protective or blocking power, so I have no idea how I survived if he did shoot me.

 

The busdriver idea sounds good but why would a town busdriver select Basel? I can understand why I would be choosen because of my inactivateness. But why Basel?

Of all the stuff that Cloud did that made him look like a Mafia you post something about Despo soft defending? Makes me think is an easy target and a safe spot for a vote that won't be noticed or commented upon.

I mentioned my reasons for being suspicious of Cloud yesterday; ain't my problem if you missed it. That ADDED with Des' soft defence made me decide after Des' flip where my vote was gonna go this Day.

 

6. Mish - Hrmm. Tetchy posts, throwing FOS and votes out on random's during "ideally" train-voting time, and then the vote switch at the start of today made me look twice. Seemed pretty sure in the first post, I'm actually certain has mentioned something about competing trains being a good thing, and then goes onto cloud with admittedly little incentive. Interesting. A part of me thinks Godfather trying to cop a view.

 

Uhm, sorry? Are we in the same game? I didn't throw out random FoS and votes. I put a vote on Thorum for insisting on trying to sow doubt on the IC, after being explained several times by several players that the scenario he was trying to pitch was completly unlikely. I put a vote on Cloud for mentioning and disregarding that Wombat did something in this game that he also did as mafia in a very recent game; that is not something I see a Town Cloud doing. And vote switch at the start of today...? I've only placed one vote today; on Cloud, that I mentioned yesterday as suspicious. I haven't mentioned a single thing about competing trains this game.

 

Also, explain this. If I were mafia, why would I come in and vote Des at the last possible moment last Day? It's a well known fact that random has a higher chance of hitting town than mafia early in the game, and hurts town more than mafia, because town won't have the information on that person; mafia will at least know if it was a townie or a mafia.

 

Your attempt to misrepresent and discredit me has been noted. I still think Cloud is the better option today; but you jumped way up on my list.

Why on earth would I protect someone who I barely knew was in the game. Your question is ridiculous - considering that there is a confirmed Town in Hallia, me as the Doc, a couple of possible Titans and an alleged Oracle knocking about.

 

Please explain why you think I would protect Pralaya. And I mean that. Explanations for this question are genuinely required. No doubt your team is already head desking and trying to get you to stop posting.

 

Also ... you can ask that but you have yet to explain why you just said you were Mafia.

I think if the Mafia had a Busdriver/Blocking role they would have tried to use it on me. Of course if Town has a watcher Role then maybe they are worried that they are Watching me to see who comes to visit.

Did Despo and Thorum claim Vig after Dice had said there was on in the Game?

 

Dice could really NOT be an oracle you know. He reveals information after the fact. Like ... now there are TWO TOWN GODS after I revealed I was a God and Town. He didn't ask the question about that until after I claimed Doc - and then the confirmation of two Town Gods came through.

 

He would know that the main Gods were the Mafia ... because he is on the Mafia Team.

 

Basel was the choice of NK ... Gods killing Titans ... maybe they have been told they have to take the Titans down first. People don't want the Titans to come out because their might not actually be four and then their plan is screwed.

 

Ambiguity on the Town Vig ... Despo and Thorum claim Vig after the list come out. Despo's was very ugh ... can kill and not be killed? Very mafia. Thorum claims vig and only one death ... so maybe a plan to make Thorum seem confirmed Town by the death of the 'fake vig'

 

CSarmi was doing an awful lot of showing us stuff that was happening - there was even a post count post. And then muddying up the discussion with lengthy set up stuff. Dice has a lot of information and a ridiculous Role really. Be honest ... when people say I AM THE 'insert role here' but then start giving all the little things that can or cant affect them, and the things that make it so everything they are doing and saying make sense, and that explanation gets bigger and bigger and bigger and more detailed then I start to think hmmmm ... really should have kept his fib nice and simple.

Why are you asking silly questions? Thorum may have an alleged META that means disregard anything and everything he says ... apart from no - I don't think so. I saw him as Mafia in the last Game. He drops the ball ALL the time and then digs the hole deeper. I'm all for pressing him. I'd Lynch him actually - he's a distraction and even if he is a vig, which I don't believe, then he has just said he will take pot shots every night.

 

That's not really how Vigs should work in my opinion. Better for him to go now that keep muddying up the waters.
