That's a good point. I wanted to go through the knowledge Dice claimed, however, to clarify it. I think that's useful. Making sure there are no inaccuracies may be very important later in case of any claims.

Also, having a good summary/overview should be useful in itself.

I am, Ithi. Just started creating my player by player summaries.

I'm at 01 - Berf right now :)

 

My current impressions:

1. Berf - mixed
2. Pralaya - no play, no read
3. Dice - town (and I believe his claim)
4. Csarmi - town
5. Ithi - town (mostly because of the claim)
6. Mish - likely town (she didn't have to hammer Despo)
7. Darthe - likely town (mainly because of the Despo case - what bugs me is that he doesn't seem like the usual Darthe)
8. Krak - no play, no read
9. Hallia - confirmed town
10. Song - no play, no read
11. Wombat - sounds very much town to me, but that makes me wonder (and the Ithi switch 9h before deadline too), might be scum
12. Basel - he flipped town
13. Despo - she flipped scum
14. Thorum - mixed, the Vig sounds true (we know there's a Vig and there was no CC and no one shot him)
15. Tina - scummy, mostly liked her posts, but the Ithi vote switch 9h before deadline and one of Ithi's observations made me put her scum
16. Cloud - scummy, as far as I recall, there were a lot of posts and actions that just didn't seem townish to me, will have to check these

im not sure my reads are any good ithi.  I thought Despo was town and all the stuff last night with Csarmi and Thorum had me thinking they are mafia.

Can we all stop talking about Thorum questioning the mod on Hallia - no matter how many people ask the question, the answer (or lack thereof) doesn't seem to be changing.  We get it, it was beaten into the ground after the 6th person asked the question.

I don't understand a word of Flemish, but I do enjoy a nice Flemish Red.

Should be more active this week with reduced work and stuff. Anyway, I skimmed through and went through Dice setup note. It does seem a little overpowered but it could also throw everyone off.

 

Of all the claim, Thorum's seems off so far. Around the end of Day 1, he was more concerned in countering dice than scumming.

Firstly, I think you are confused as to what an "open" setup means. Open setup means everyone knows the setup going in, they know all the roles and mechanics etc., and just have to figure out who got which roles. So on day 1, the setup is actually more closed than ever.

By open, I meant that the setup can be anything that it is irrelevant. No that everyone know what it is. It is totally opposite to what you are saying.

 

Secondly, you are starting setup talk that came from nowhere (Prometheus hadn't been mentioned yet, and there hasn't been any indication he will def be in the game). I was speculating about something that was already revealed. We already know Persephone is in the game, so I was wondering if her mother was.

 

Third, you specifically mentioned he would be third party. What if Prometheus IS in the game, but he's on the mafia team? Then you could try to breadcrumb the concept that he'd actually be a good guy this game, which could end up leading to bad things for town. Setup talk in general isn't usually a good idea, but it's worse if you're trying to actually manipulate others into thinking certain things about alignments of characters, etc.

Which is irrelevant because you are not allowed to character claim int his game. If someone says he is Prometheus, it is against the rules. Nor if someone says he/she is Demeter. All these are theme talk and nothing else. So, I don't see how it can end up leading to bad things.
