A claim on it's own shouldn't really save someone imo.

- Obviously.  There are certain claims that are vettable, though, and that can be tested early on in games.  This is a huge game and we were only on Day 2.  This, of course, is theory we can talk about after the game is over.

Uhm... Scum would be upset because they lost a team member, someone who got themselves modkilled. I know I'd be upset if I was her teammate.

- You guys are going back and forth on this symp stuff.  Did Mish know about scum and/or did scum know about Mish or not?  If a Symp is like a Traitor role, I don't think scum would be all that bothered since Traitors aren't known to scum and can't communicate with scum.  So really, they aren't "teammates."  What am I missing here?

Nope, luck had nothing to do with it. DPR was dropping pretty much all of the classic scum tells. OMGUS, whymefryme, overly defensive, convenient claim, using emo to discredit his attackers, etc.

- Meh.  Easy to say in retrospect [evidence to fit the flip].  I don't consider myself all that gullible, but I was pretty sold despite not trusting him.  That said, any reasonable mod confirmed evidence to the contrary and I would have been holding hands with Darthe as we skipped our way to the DPR lynch singing "Bye Bye this here DPR guy..."

Sorry about the formatting but multiquoting portions of posts on this site is a bear.

I know right? It's the way posting was meant to be. Not all these buttons and whistles and doodads doing everything for you.

Looks like I have my work cut out to prove to you guys I wasn't dawdling to vote Mish due to ulterior motives.

As for DPR, well....crap. I ignored the tells because I didn't think he'd make them that obvious. I out WIFOMed myself, lol.

You'll be fine until Tink does.

Expect a despairing mafia at this point. Half dead in a day, they couldn't afford that. They couldn't afford to bus DPR.

Am I the only person you think would have the cajonies to bus DPR in that situation?

Too big of a chance. There's gotta be scum on and off his train.

Actually,Peace is.

If you recall, you were still fighting for him post death. You had to or your platform would crumble and you would thus lose more credibility. Which isn't something I associate with town play.

I don't understand this post.

Why?

Distancing. Putting all your eggs in one basket is a bad idea.

Already down a member? And with two equal wagons?

Personally I disagree. I think neither would have been on his train until he gave the okay to bus, and if they did play protectively enough that he had an early person on his train then it would have been one of the quiet people that didn't push hard on him both days.

Peace, I was responding to the top post. If someone bussed DPR I would have to assume it was you from that turnaround.

With that said, this isn't an effective means of scum hunting. Train analysis is like meteorology. Too many options with too few viable results, especially when you're looking at early patterns.

This is seriously the most crazy game that I have ever played in. It's awesome.

Here is my list:

Hallia: DPR's flip hasn't changed my read on her. I still think she is scummy for the same reason as yesterday. I will also respond to a few quoted posts below which stood out to me during my read.

Tiinker: didn't post any thoughts about day 2 and he didn't explain his vote on DPR. I also find him scummy for the same reasons as Day 1.

Tina: Now that both Mish and DPR flipped mafia I also think that Tina might be mafia.

Kronos: see my response to one of his posts below.

Krak: I don't have a read on him.

Peace: his hammer stood out to me. I don't remember much of his play though besides that he thinks that Hallia is mafia which I agree with. need to go back and look.

Verb: I liked his explanation about why he didn't vote for Mish and his defense was good, but I don't think he gave any thoughts about DPR at all and why he still stuck with his vote on Hally.

GF: I read him as a lazy townie. He didn't post any thoughts about Day 2 and he just continued with his vote on DPR from the start of Day 1. It can be that he was really convinced about DPR, or he was just bussing him from the start of the game... I'm leaning a lot more towards the former though. I would like to hear more from him and what he thinks about the other players.

Dap: I guess I like his play so far. nothing stood out

--------------

BG: reading back he was also right on multiple points regarding DPR. he was also quite vocal in lynching him

Despo: it seems he had DPR already pegged a while back

Yates: he was defending DPR so incredibly hard which I don't see a teammate doing at all. He really seemed convinced that DPR was town. I also think his logic and play are really good.

Darthe: lead the DPR lynch since Day 1 and reading back he was right about everything surrounding DPR.

Cloud: duh

Of course I want him lynched more than myself.  That's silly.  Earlier, we had 8-ish hours left, and it didn't necessarily have to be me or him.  Now that it's this close, you are correct.

Unvote

Vote DPR

This post is why I now think that both DPR and Hallia are mafia. Hallia was all over the place yesterday with her votes, and then unvoted for DPR and dissapeared. She then came back when Darthe called her out to place her vote on DPR again when it was obvious that he would die.

Krak and Cloud for popping in long enough to hop in a train, with some half butt lazy reasoning.  And probably a couple of the quieter people.  Reading back through.

I'm pretty sure that both me and Krak voted with more reasoning than you did. You just seem think that I'm scummy because I think that you are mafia.

WBK needs to stop freaking wasting his vote in games. This "I don't go with the crowd" thing is stupid.

Regardless, it looks like we can at least secure a lynch today.

Fine ill quit playing games to please you. Maybe I didn't get involved because I had a crappy day and really didn't want to deal with the for darthe crap today. I decided to cool off before voting. I don't care if find that scummy or not. In fact I really don't give a damn right now.

unvote, vote dpr

Kronos went up a few steps on my scum list after the whole thing with Mish. He called Hallia scummy for skimming, while he did it himself. More importantly though he was trying to line up Yates or DPRs lynch (which didn't make any sense) in case Mish flipped Miller. He then voted for Yates when Mish died, and then unvoted right away once he realized that she in fact flipped mafia. He seems to have been convinced that she would flip Miller, and he could only know that if he were mafia.

I think he was genuinly upset in the above post, but at the same time he did vote for DPR without giving any thoughts. Because of the placement I think it was a bus vote.

Looks like his beloved is the +1 majority to lynch.

What?

Also why cloud first

I would also like to know this.

makes sense because DPR was in the spotlight since pretty much the start of the game. it would be stupid to not have a couple teammates vote for him in the end imo.
