I push on you because you are mafia, and like classic mafia you are backing off rather than fighting for your life. However, if I had to guess I would say that you are watching.

 

Also, nobody gets points for a symp kill. The ink people to know who a symp is is the symp themselves and maybe a role cop. Thus you can't build anything off of interactions with one. A 6+year vet making the argument for that is as near to flailing as we could get short of Emo rants.

All of DPRs arguments are invalid because they all rely on treating him like vetted town for the rest of the game. Take away that assumption and his argument is full of air. So unless you are prepared to consider him as vetted town, vote DPR. He argues he saved a town from getting lynched yesterday by fighting to not be lynched, I argue he saved a mafia from getting lynched yesterday. Simple enough.

I will disagree with this point.  I have seen Symps before who attempted to out themselves to the mafia without being obvious.  It doesn't usually work, but I for one have been on a mafia team and we noticed the Symp a few days before anyone else did.  We were able to use them to build an effective offense and ultimately discarded them after they served our purpose.  It was quite effective.

 

I think information can be gained and a case can be built not by watching how others interact with a symp, as your quote above seems to say, but watching how the symp interacts with others.

1. I understand you are an "easy target " for the day. However if NKing you would buy another NK it'd be worth it

2. I highly doubt there is more than one Beloved Princess if any. Adding more than one takes it to a whole new level. Maybe in the more experimental games later on but not in this one IMO

 

3. I see what you are saying. But in the merlin game our first kill as a team was someone I didn't think any mafia team would of really chosen (we had time issues) but we killed them and it was weird. That kind of stuff happens. That's why I agree with Darthe that I expected you to come out and give a great post on how it was all a setup. Darthe kinda nipped that in the bud though

I went back to check if mish symp hinted.

I did notice that she picked DPRs side in the Darthe DPR debate

Getting yourself purposely mk'd... I can give you my opinion about that too after the game.

Mish probably knew who is mafia and she didn't vote DPR yesterday so I'm keeping my vote where it is.

 

When I pulled my gambit I assumed DPR was going to be the lynch. But that would have been too easy with him getting to L-1 yesterday. My feeling on the matter is that scum would be bussing the crap out of DPR if he was in fact scum. So I just happened to pick Mish as the last person to vote prior to my claim [along with her lame "sorry I didn't vote, I was confused" excuse].

 

With Mish flipping scum, Beloved Princess may actually be in the game. If I were scum, I wouldn't have killed DPR either. Not only did he get to L-1, which makes anyone easy mislynch bait the following day, but there is a BENEFIT to scum letting him get mislynched [skip a day phase] vs killing him [just a kill].

 

Plus, no investigative role has come out and called DPR scum. Think about that for a second. If you were an investigator, who would you have investigated last night? If it wasn't DPR, you were doing it wrong.

 

I'm not one to help scum gain an advantage.

 

I'm feeling the Hallia lynch. Why aren't you?

Just remember that scum is often times the players playing the cleanest game. Townies are more apt to be all over the place with limited information and no support from teammates.
