I dont know much about the theme but i know she's important and when cloud claimed eve, ithi CC'd and AJ claimed micheal VT, their logic sorta made more sense to me then clouds (i think despo mentioned how i followed ithi a few pages ago but i could be wrong)

RTE, you've done a brilliant job overall. I love the way you've changed the title to reflect current game events btw. Among a lot of other things I have enjoyed.

 

Unfortunately, next time you should prob make a rule about mass claiming to prevent underhanded people like Ithi from turning this chess match into checkers.

Thank you Despo. I thought about it but the game is in a pretty unique situation so I'm not too bothered by it. I'll discuss more post-game. Hope you are all enjoying it!

Only one left. The rest of the game I found two from mafioso play. One got killed by Peace.

 

If we run up a Lynch what do you think will happen? They will claim. Like you claimed and Chuckles claimed. The Claim will happen - and it is more pro Town to not leave that till the last second so we can move along. And I never said mass claim - I proposed that we vote people up to L-1 and then see what they claimed. That is just logical play really.

 

Why all the negative labels for me? I have led two Lynches on Mafia. And now I'm playing safe because I want Town to win. I am not underhand. I never said to mass claim. You stop being all grumpy about me.

Exactly @ RTE ... the game is as it is. We play how it is.

 

This is not something I would ever have considered near the begining of the Game - but now, it's going to happen anyway so we should be in control of it.

I would have rather had the perfect victory. What you're doing, gathering all these claims, amounts to relying on a mass claim to find our last mafia, and you know it.

 

As I have mentioned many times now, it cheapens the victory. I want to win, but I want to win without using any underhanded methods. Using character claims in a themed game to root out Viktor is very underhanded.

Running people up to L-1 to get their claim is the same as promoting a mass claim. You're saying you're not interested in voting someone to lynch them, you're interested in voting them to get their claim.

 

Why beat around the bush? You want everyone's character claims, period. Ringing everyone up to L-1 first just takes more time anyways.

 

I DON'T believe we should leave the lynch till the last minute. Never even came close to stating that. I think we should have just lynched Turin, and seen what happened from there. I think it would have been game over - with a clean victory. This gathering of claims business is for the birds.

Ithi, stop putting words in my mouth. I never said I wanted to blind lynch anyone either. Really, only one person can be responsible for a blind lynch, and that's someone who decides to drop a hammer without waiting for a response. Even then, there are plenty of situations where it's not that big of a deal (if there's enough evidence to warrant it).

 

You vote for who you think should be lynched. If info or posts come to light which give you reason to reconsider, then removing your vote is completely reasonable. Voting for "pressure" or to get a claim isn't really a true vote. It's something else entirely. Vote for who you think should be lynched. Period. It's how you play the game.

 

@Berf: You have your way, I have mine. I'd like to think that if you don't take the underhanded way, and try going for the "clean" win, others will extend the same courtesy to you. For instance, I hate big game hunting. If I'm mafia I never suggest it, and if others do I strongly discourage the idea. There are plenty of things you can probably get away with game to game that can help you win, that doesn't mean you should employ them.

I actually do agree with this. Using my reasoning as an excuse to keep from claiming is very sketchy imo. Plus, the Doc and Cop are outed now. There pretty much should be nothing anyone has to hide at this point.

 

Before I get called a hypocrite, I would have rather Ithi never started pushing this tactic (posting all the claims, advocating pressuring those who hadn't claimed for their claims). But once the cat's outta the bag...

Well ... lists always get posted at some point. And people are not stupid - you just arguing for the sake of it I think - shame really. Lists are nice and logical and basically make it quite clear we only have three candidates for Mafia really.

 

I was voting for who I thought was Mafia. I voted for you. You claimed. With one vote. You obviously saw the benefit of not waiting till the end. You knew you were Town so you claimed. It was ok for you to do this.

 

Same as it is ok for anyone else to do this.

 

 

With the numbers as they are, it is pointless to believe that any reason for voting is not going to result in a claim being given. Everyone always claims.

 

And besides ... is more fun to see what Turin/Mish/Panchi will claim I think And Panchi deciding not to is also very interesting. Especially as she has been viewed Town and technically is home free. If she hadn't have posted that I probably would have voted Turin - as I don't think Mish is Mafia.

 

So yes ... more information and seeing what happens. Is fun yes?

Peace is town.  I know this.  I find it interesting that Berf thinks Panchi and I are scum, because I viewed Panchi last night, and she's town as well.  There's some clears for us.

 
How is that 'interesting'? Potential Godfather in the mix means Cops are iffy at best right now, but kudos on scanning a good target. I'm not going to put a lot of trust in the reading, but if you would like to save yourself a wasted lynch view me tonight.
 
Though if Hallie and Mish want to push a train on me and watch me flip town, go right ahead. My thoughts are out there, lynching me will only serve to back this up.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and ask the Doc to come out as well, mostly because I'm wondering about who s/he protected last night when there was no kill. We're in such good standings right now that I think we can afford to get our PRs out in the open.

Third, I'm Thomas: http://underworld.wikia.com/wiki/Thomas, and I'm vanilla. I have only ever watched the first to films, so I haven't seen awakening; Thomas doesn't sound like a very nice guy on the wikia though, heh, so not sure how he's ended up a town char.




Turin and Panch are both ecually interesting to me right now. Panch's refusal to claim a character might be because she is Victor, and want all the town claims on the table so she can see if she can find another minor character to claim... Either way, the numbers are in our favour and we can afford a mislynch. Turin today, and if it's still not game over, then Panch tomorrow. Vote Turin
