Besides my birthday is coming up and I may be busy for a few days.

I'd rather stick to the stated July 8th start date if no one minds too much.

 

Can you at least wait a few more days before starting the game? I will be done with my last exam on monday, which also means I won't be able to play mafia during the weekend because I will try my best to study like crazy. Mish has also lost her Internet connection at home and they should have it fixed by the beginning of next week.

 

Also I guess I have a request to hold off. So yeah I think July 8th is still the best time to start.

Well that is beyond me, I've been thinking of learning Greek, modern rather than classical, but I have limits. If I strove into hebrew I would not be able to learn anything. What does that hebrew frase mean in English. I forget, linguistically my greatest triumph is learning English to a degree, even thought at the end of high school I got the stipend for physics, blundered slitly in the mathematics test, 0 points for easy problem 3 of 12, It was in English I got the highest marks.  Not that high school carries very far.

Hebrews not that difficult. the grammar is complex but regular, the letters can only sound one way, and... it's very forgiving of unique construction.

 

but I could study a hundred years and not be able to follow Israeli conversation. only took a couple months before I could manage to read Torah, tho.

 

granted I was very young but... even English didn't come to me so fast for reading.

Yea, I'll think on hebrew. It didn't occur to me before. This is a year long process, and I don't it will get before greek, and it will take some time for me to learn Japanese to an extent that I can think of a new language, I'm commited to Japanese now. Cause I say so.

 

I spent a lot of time in uny avoiding statistics, hard enough for a physics student, well I'm writing a paper called localised function vector modal method for modelling microstructured optical fibres. Unfortunately, well, amid working on that, I got myself burn out. Don't know if it was unfortunate, since I certainly enjoy life more now. Thankfully I can carry on from where I left off, if not to some degree, I am much the wiser and that will count.

i had to take a stats course ... maybe two... for psych.

 

i got a B the way i passed gym in HS - never ever showed up to a single class.

 

have to pass the final.  but they factor in some participation and if they don't know you they assume it's their bad.

 

you show up to one class, they know you, they know when you're not there, and boom, you fail.

 

otherwise you get a B like everyone else.  big classes, 101s, they're not looking to think too hard in grading you. 

 

read the book the night before finals.  it's not too complicated, and it'll stick better without time to forget it..
