I agree that a photo of one of the current people with the most votes would have been very useful. Almost having a Lynch without the need for a Lynch. If the photo showed Town could have examined the reasons people had for voting that person. Perhaps a lesson to be learned.

Really Vam? So the fact that half the players aren't even posting, we have a few cleared players, and cases flying around. Yet you have neutral on everyone

I did not say that I have a neutral on everyone. However, I agree that the he fact that half the players ain't even posting is of course a concern. So maybe a lynch should be on one of them?

Doesn't really have an opinion and then suggests voting for an inactive? How does voting to Lynch an inactive help? We have no information from their interactions to use. If you don't have a neutral on everyone, who are your least neutral?

At the moment we have two possessed. just two. As we all started out as town, it's going to be difficult to narrow that down, with the number of players we have at this stage. I would say there is a main recruiter, the chances of getting him are very slim indeed. But instead of picking bones about how someone said something. Look at a person who is most likely to have been recruited at the end of the last hour.

 

1. An inactive - someone here just enough to be seen so not totally out of it, but someone who hasn't been implicated.

2. Someone who claimed an item (yep Ithi). She claimed she had something before the end of the last hour. So another likely choice for a recruit.

 

I doubt it would be someone who was on the top end of the suspect list. The mafia want to get their numbers up and keep them up as soon as they can. If we go for the Goons, then it might lead back to the boss.

 

Rand was nearly lynched in the first hour, so the chances of him being recruited are slim (doesn't stop him being the recruiter I know).

The item I have and the Link I was given strongly suggests recruitment via possession. I said my prayer quickly and it protects both me and the person I say it for. You may have missed that part or be trying to get rid of me.

 

Peace, why do you think that a Mod who was too lazy to even send out PMs at the start of a Game would be more actively involved in a Game than he had to be lol. The Possessed are the Mafia - since when do the Mafia not have a choice in their actions. I think they are doing the recruiting.

This is an odd statement. It is quite clearly explained that we win by getting rid of all the Possessed. Why would the Mafia not having a Recruiter affect that?

Can someone give me a quick explanation of what all the hoo hah about Rand being mafia is? I was kind of fixated on EP at the time so mostly ignored it and now I can't really go back.

 

It is interesting that he was the Lynch leader at the end of the previous hour and then it faded for a while and switched to someone else completely. People must have had reasons for voting him and surely those reasons didn't just melt away because the hour turned?

The mod has shown he is not lazy.  And have you not noticed this is an unusual game?  Why would you assign usual actions to it?

He's stating that without a recruiter town would always be behind the mafia.  If there is a recruiter, the only way to win is to kill him/her.  I find this scenario unlikely due to the difficulty.  That's why I think that recruitment is random and there will be items given to town to off set it.

No I am saying if there is no recruiter to lynch then how do we win? The recruiting will never stop if the mechanic is just that it picks at random at the closing of each hour. The town will slowly bleed dry even if we lynch one possessed per hour.

 

@Peace: That would require more than one vig to balance. If we lynched just one vig or if they get recruited then we're back in the same situation I just described where the town is eventually bled and converted until we lose.

 

There must be a recruiter or some other mechanism going on otherwise I don't see how this game could be balanced.
