I'm quite a noob in being a Cop, but I think that I shouldn't share my results yet.

I'd also like you to ask your opinion on what I should do (as a cop) if I:

 

- found a townie

- found a scum

- found a 3rd party

So the two players who stand out for me now are:

 

- Tiink

- Nolder

 

I find Tiink's attitude scummy, especially to the claim and the cop role itself in general. There's just something there that I don't like, something that doesn't add up. I can't put my finger on it, I'll have to do a re-read.

 

For Nolder, I just find him off.

No, it isn't better. You claim to have limited shots, three total. Once you have used those that is the end of it, you can do no more. If mafia kills you before revealing them (we have no doc if you missed that) then you're entire PR and life was a waste. Worse, since you revealed they know exactly who you are. This is the second game with you that you've went dumb side up about a PR. Their is literally 0 logical advantage that is comparable.

Yes, assuming that I found scum, we could end this day very quickly. We will have wasted one day of casework and interaction, however, so I don't think it's a clear shot.

 

Resurrection? I don't think so.

 

For now I would lean to the game consist of:

 

3 scum (1 godfather + 2 goons or 3 goons)

1 healer

1 cop (3-shot)

8 vanilla townies

 

3/13 scum is slightly below the standard 1/4, so it's usually compensated by something. That might just be the fact that I have only 3 shots. But it's also possible that we have a survivor or a godfather to balance the odds too.

Oh, know, I was speaking theoretically, as in an advanced game with a rez role, not this one. LOL

I see what CS is saying. If he got one scum, he wants to see if another potential jumps on anyone's radar,

so that maybe the whole team can be outed in one go.

There is good reason for him to wait.  Interactions.  So, I suggest everyone continue scum hunting.

Drawing attention to myself like that doesn't seem like a smart move if I was mafia but hey wifom and all that.

But yeah I didn't believe your claim and I still find it hard to swallow. I will have words for our mod when this game is over.

 

Really? As long as the game is balanced, that's what matters. It's not like you're the ultimate authority on mafia games here. I'm sure someone balance checked it for him, and as long as whoever did that agreed that it's basic, then I don't get why you should interfere.

So, a Dr. can, in certain games, protect themselves? Can they protect the same person more than once? Could she have protected herself or does it mean she used her protect on the Cop who has, I think, one more 'shot' left?

townie - don't say anything unless town is trying to lynch them

scum - out them right away and we lynch

3rd party - unlikely the mod will make this distinction for you but out it right away if it happens

With the doctor dead you're going to die tonight. I don't see any point in withholding info.

 

If you WANT you can play it off until night but the best play is to absolutely tell everything before sending in your night action.
