Good morning...been really busy lately and I apologize for not posting yesterday. I read up to page 33 last night and am continuing from there this morning. So far you all pretty have my head spinning with WIFOM, arguing, speculations and then there's just cindy! Love you guys!!! I will finish reading and vote today as tomorrow is Mother's Day and my family has a whole day of goodies planned for me!

The mod is getting really sick of snarky comments.

 

Chuckles asked to be replaced and told me why, I asked him to try to keep posting while I secured a replacement.

 

Also, this is my first game I'm modding, it's nothing personal that your vote wasn't counted, I warned everyone from the sign-ups that it's my first game, and to expect some errors on the modding level. Now can everyone please stop being snarky about it? About the deadline, I know it's a shitty deadline, that's the point of the triggers. Sometimes they're good, sometimes they're not. Now if everyone would give up gaming the mod by snarkiness or complaining, that would be very much appreciated.

 

Going to start from the resetting of the day with the vote count, if anyone's count is missing, or counted double, or anything like that, it's just my errors, nothing game mechanic and nothing personal.

Don't let the comments get to you, a few people are kinda being shitty right now but it always happens somewhere when you're modding. From a players perspective it's harder to be considerate of extreneous factors and most of us are guilty of letting annoyance slip through for whatever reason at some point.

I still see no reason to mention the WIFOM. If Darthe did it for that reason, then bringing that out in the open basically defeats the purpose of it.
Saying yu are vanilla so the mafia won't target you is good start and a way to hide something. Someone mentioning this means the mafia will now consider targeting you, which destroys the purpose of the claim. Understand why it was stupid for them to bring up now?
More to the point I never think like town unless I'm mafia. You have to analyse everything as if it was a mafia ploy. What would the mafia be doing this for?

I don't think claiming vanilla right off is the best move. Like Peace said, it means scum have knowledge of how to narrow down their targets. But I don't think it means he is scum. I think there's also the possibility that Darthe really does have a power for town, and he is trying to divert NKs away from him.

Because somehow it has recently become a trend here to not lynch people who act "too scummy."    For instance, Peace in JohnSnows aborted game asked for all town power roles to claim, asked the cop repeatedly for all investigative info the cop had gotten, asked who was protecting the cop after a failed NK of the cop, etc etc.  And yet nobody wanted to lynch peace because "oh, scum wouldn't act so incredibly scummy!"  Bah.

I don't have much to add.  Tiink's play was scummy, but way too many people jumped on way too easily.

 

Also, CSarmi, do this:  Send in your NA at anytime.  Wait until 1 minute before deadline.  Post in the thread who you will target.  That way mafia cannot wait to put in their NK and will have to do it before you otherwise they will miss the deadline.  Also, if you die then town knows who you targeted and can confirm them as scum.

So he distances by disagreeing with everyone jumping on Tiink so fast, but says he was scummy so not to make RTE look bad.

Then he starts to "advise" Csarmi

 

Now RTE appears and throws just a hint of doubt on Dsarmi and also nudges for info

So this is what I think.  CS should use his "hider" ability two more nights.  If it is successful both times, then we lynch him and either get 3 confirmed townies or at least one scum and potentially another with Darthe, minimum. 

 

I'm not okay with believing the play CS and Darthe have made and letting it go till endgame.  I think it needs to be vetted at some point in the best way to help town, and that is not by lynching them now, but waiting for maximum effect.

So this is what I think.  CS should use his "hider" ability two more nights.  If it is successful both times, then we lynch him and either get 3 confirmed townies or at least one scum and potentially another with Darthe, minimum. 

 

I'm not okay with believing the play CS and Darthe have made and letting it go till endgame.  I think it needs to be vetted at some point in the best way to help town, and that is not by lynching them now, but waiting for maximum effect.

See here - RTE is on my mafia team list so it must be that we distance from each other. You have already made up your mind about how to read my texts so everything fits your theory.

I think everyone can guess that csarmi voting against TG after Kay's case means that he has read it and agrees with it.

So you can't agree with someone else in this game? I also come with my own conclusions, but that doesn't stop me from agreeing with a good case when I see one.

The idea is you are setting up a vote in the future. If you think it's a good case now why don't you vote now?

csarmi, it's already an improvement (if not by much). You could have said what you agreed with, what you yourself picked up on TG, etc.

Lazy play is lazy play, if you're the doc or the hider. Just because you help your team during one phase doesn't mean you slack off in the other.

well Basel was town on her last list but now he appears to be in the unsure, the Len and Vam part seems consistent though

Cloud - He looked like scum hunting at first. But he tries to direct the Hider. I understand his vote for GF in a way but it looks like he buries his vote somewhere safe until he sees where other votes.

well he was in the mafia list (be it in brackets). If anyone was trying to direct the hider it was TG, also if you believe he is the hider why bring up that mafia can fake claim it successfully. If you did this as town it would just provide the mafia with ammunition, good thing you are mafia then.

Vambram - Does the same things that he does when he is scum. He defends himself and offers to sacrifice himself after a few fos. Talks about being on the town team. Then claims vanilla. I truly hope he is town and plays like this all the time no mather alignment, otherwise it´s just too easy to read him.

RTE is definitely playing with a different style. I've even tussled with him because it looks very scummy. I've even gone back over all of his posts. I'm changing my mind on my initial thoughts...he's playing an aggressive style without fear. That's not a very good scum tactic. So, I don't think he is scum.

 

He is exaggerating a lot, provoking people and making misrepresentations all over the place. His form of beating the brush looking for snakes maybe?

 

I don't think much of it has been terrible productive though. Maybe later in the some of these interactions will bare fruit.
