[Advanced] The Dresden Files Mafia - Game Over - Ed loses, Verbal wins

Question about killing methods, the last death said "shotgun several times", and a coin fell out of the body, as if to imply someone was impaled by a coin (kind of like how Gambit throws playing cards in X-men).

We saw a man torn to shreds, and another shot by a sniper bullet on N1. And that whole thing about a guy with a sword leaving the Library, but taht was tied to csarmi.

So... is anything to be gleaned from this stuff, or is it pure flavor not meant to hint?

Ok and as for who to vote for.. OMG how many people can you go through in such a short time.

I do believe Ape and Boo's claims.

I think leading any kind of lynch against them would be pointless and counter productive. As far as tina is concerned, I'm not so sure about her role. I think she's got a good chance of being the SK. But maybe she is just a vigilante like she claims. I don't know enough about the character content to be sure of how her character is supposed to read.

Ed's claim... I don't get it either. I find it highly unlikely there are two town reporters. but who knows. I've been wrong LOTS before so there would be no surprise there.

Unless we can prove otherwise i think it would be wise to believe that pretty much all the claims in the paper are fairly accurate. So Verbal and AVM seem innocent until we can find further proof to steer us firmly one way or another.

That leaves us with Song/Turin, Peace, Leelou, Lenlo, Nolder, Tglems, Rand, Hybrid

So I have 4 that I feel comfortable as probably not bad guys: Boo(as much as i hate to say it because quite frankly you annoy the heck out of me), Ape, Verbal, and AVM

that leaves 11 (counting me) that we have no proof on, so far. Of these we can guess that there are probably at LEAST 4 mafia, maybe more. And at least 1 SK.

One of my doubts with tina is that the most kills we have had are 2. It is fairly clear that in the first post there seems to be 2 distinct "bad guys/groups" at least in my mind. If she's a vigilante why have their only been 2 deaths? if there are 3 groups who could kill (a vigilante, mafia, and sk), why was there only 1 death last night?

Of the others... Rand has been pretty quiet, as has hybrid. almost as if they're just trying to fly right under the radar, which makes me suspicious of them. Leelou is about the same. Song/Turin, hasn't been in the game enough to have any idea with. Lenlo looks fairly scummy, Peace, i don't know what to think of because all i can think is surely someone mafia would play so aggressively and attack the person who has claimed and been shown as cop. Tglems has had lots of observations and questions but has been quiet so far today, of course so have I up until now. I would say he's probably the least scummy of the quieter ones to me. And nolder... Lord who knows.. I can't make up my mind...

A lot of ya'lls attacking each other leads me to not know how to think about any of you. I know apparently it's how you scum hunt, but your attacking and defensiveness throws off my scum radar lol...

Plays the confused card wayyyyy too much. I'd lynch this one too in a heart beat.

I get what you are saying, it's just not as simple as "just a numbers game".

You went about selling pragmatism the wrong way, if you are town, I do it all the time. It comes across like you want to know who the deputy is, who may have protected me if it wasn't me, etc.

There's absolutely no rush to get the information you are asking for out in the open. The ONLY people it serves well are scum. Period.

I think you don't give my argument credit cause I've made it clear I believe your play has been horrible. You are holding a grudge. It's all part of your win with you gambit or dont win at all attitude.

Your opinion of my play is irrelevant to me, and I don't play with grudges. I think it's laughable that you'd actually insist such pettiness. Don't project your own flawed character onto me, I have enough of my own flaws thank you.

I also think you sound like an idiot every time you say I'm trying to win with a gambit. What is the gambit? Telling you no? LOL

It's pretty much cop play 101 not to reveal your innocents when you don't have to. I'm not in immediate danger, and it makes zero sense NOT to sit here and see who tries to frame a player or players I know are town.

And i stated the obvious that it's weird that you're claiming vigilante but there's only been 2 deaths at once and there's supposedly 2 bad guys... doesn't leave a lot of room for vigilantes. Last night you were the only one that killed and i find it hard to believe that either the two bad guys either targeted the same protected person or both got blocked separately and one has gotten blocked both nights.

Why are you being obtuse about the number of kills.

N1, Tina said she killed Darthe (sniper rifle), and I'd guess that scum killed Piano. I have to assume he didn't self-protect? Since the roleblocker (csarmi) was lynched D1.

N2, Tina said she killed Vambram (shotgun blasts), and there was no other kill. Which most likely means scum shot at ME, since it was obvious to some people that I tipped that I was Cop while going after Ishy. Verbal obviously saw it.

You are making it sound like there's Tina's kill, plus 2 others. We've seen no evidence of a 3rd killing role. Unless you are slipping up here and tipping your hand in some way... but otherwise, no, we can account for the kills that Tina has claimed and nobody has countered her.

I think her kills are pretty pro-town too. She hit scum, and she shot Darthe whom a lot of people thought was scum.

Ok finished rereading. Everyone is going nuts and Ape you're doing the worst job ever. Seriously you're on a warpath the way you've been voting, so glad you don't have a gun. Try to reel it back in. Pick 2-5 people you're suspicious of and stick with them for now. I get that new information changes things and there has been a lot of info dumped in the last 10 pages but doing the equivalent of a chicken running around with it's head cut off isn't gonna help anybody.

That said, it's time for JiF to die I think.
I believe Tina's claim and as I already thought JiF was scum I believe Ed's.

It makes sense for there to be a scum reporter and a town reporter and I think JiF is the scum's reporter.

It can force out a power role, I dunno... like the cop.

If scum had the reporter and the survivor the roleblocking ability, that could have crippled the town.

Anyway, my logic says don't lynch either Boo or Ed today, let scum decide what to do with them. WE get 2 more reports regardless, by letting them live. We can collectively vote for who they report on, who Tina shoots and who I view in night phase.

Sounds like scum + sk, not necessarily 2 scum groups. But feasible.

Any chance this game has conversions in it? Would explain the multiple investigative roles more.
