I wasn't wrong on D1. Csarmi was not town, that was scum hunting logic.

 

I was digging into JIF on D2 because he was going after AVM, and I knew AVM was town. I went after Ishy because he was insinuating Tina was cop. That's why I pressed on that. 

 

Sure, Ishy was town and got lynched, but I wasn't wrong in how I played it. Not by a long shot. My night talk was also devised to keep me alive and untargeted.

I already told you that your back and forth with Noldy felt contrived, and the way you advocated for Ishy's lynch when there were two possibly confirmed townies. We should have taken another angle with that, imo.

And I already said that Boo viewed AVM. Ishy was town. IF there is a mafia Reporter, it's him. Combined with his play, well, yea, you can see why I am sus of him.

^^^ These are all Tina's posts BEFORE she finally votes Kat. So she's building towards suspicion on Verbal, and gives Leelou a push too, then somehow finds herself on Kat, with Ishy quickly putting the soft-sell on there being some sort of "informed" vote hint in her post.

 

I don't anything in her vote. I see him calling attention to it though. Doesn't add up. So it's worthy of being questioned, imo.

 

Now he's playing "super townie" trying to villainize me for asking what they are being cryptic about, when he was the one that spotlighted her vote and insinuated there was more to it than just a guess.

 

 

One of the first things we saw happen with the case on Tina, and some chatter about Vambram starting up. Lenlo gives the Ishy train a good PUSH.

Alright Ishy I personally want to take the word of the big, mod provided scene reveal thing, but hes right. That comment was scummy as hell.

 

Then Tina echoes the chatter on Vambram, telling us all it's his scum tell. Doesn't vote him though...

His posts are mostly either attacks against the most active scum hunter in this game, or BooBoo posts lots of random stuff that, to me, almost sounds like his game style is very erratic or even kind of schizophrenic in nature. If we on the Town team are going to defeat the Mafia, then I don't understand how BooBoo is being helpful, even if he is Town. Throughout Day 1 and Night 1, most of Booboo's votes have come without any explanation. That is rarely a  good thing to do. But,  I think that he is Mafia attempting to masquerade as Town. 

 

This is typical Vambram. "We on the town team." I have seen him use it as scum before. His post is not logical at all. He says that Booboo isn´t being helpful and that it´s not good to vote without an explanation but still he think Booboo is attempting to look town. Basically that means Booboo is playing scummy but trying to look town. Where is the logic? This sounds like a made up reason for his vote.

Rand drops by, this I've already picked apart, but he basically builds a case for why I am scum - then votes Ishy - essentially setting up a circumstance to lynch a townie, and use it to frame me. I quoted the version with my response with it.

 

Holy crap its hard to catch up on this game.  First thing I want to point out.  Everyone went of JiF/Boo when he claimed town reporter but not a single one of you mentioned that he might in fact be a mafia reporter.  We thought of this scenario before, but now it doesn't get a single mention.  I thought JiF was town before Ape started casing him on pretty much meta alone (which is really weak, especially when playing on another site), but none of you looked at anything else other than what Ape was saying.  This game it seems like most people are playing get behind the Ape, notice how where he votes, others do as well.  Two things here, either we can find scum their trying to hide between everyone else, or Ape himself is scum, and he's just capitalizing on how much scum hunting he can do, instead of how well.  I know I said before that he caught a town threat, but to him if he was mafia, that would have seemed like town before a reveal, and after he had gotten that far, he couldn't have backed off anyways.  Second of all, Ishy has been very scummy, first of all in his initial reaction to anyone who questioned him.  Usually I would think that this would be too clear for anyone to do and would be a town tell, but I think Ishy was trying to overplay his town meta of being too nonchalant and kind of free with what he says.  Not only that, but once Tina said that she was fine with him revealing what he thought, not only did he insult Tina as well, he didn't give the reason he had.  So now that there is nothing to lose, please go ahead and tell us Ishy, what you thought.

For the record on Booboo... My case on Booboo was sincere and NOT just based on meta, he piggy-backed my csarmi case on D1 (game play related), he had a town result on AVM but chose to vote him anyway?

 

The meta part of my case doesn't really take playing at JN to understand. He said I lied about how he hates when I play "connect the dots", which when you decouple the statement I actually made is an easy thing for him to sell. I never lied about that, I freely admit he HATES when I do it. That said, that wasn't the focus... the focus was that he KNOWS it is a big-time town tell of mine, and he ignored that it's a town tell and sold that town tell to you all as a scum tell. That IS something he often does as scum, selling my town tells as my scum tells. So, if you are in my shoes it becomes quite easy to convince yourself he's dirty.

 

Also, him selling you all my town tell as a scum tell, is also meta-casing, why aren't you scolding him over that?

 

Anyway, it's a moot point, unless he gets counter-claimed he is Bob.

I'm not sure what to make of Ishy's behavior right now, but I don't the nature of the votes coming on him right now. Leelou's vote pinged, so did Rand's, I'm a little suspicious when I see people putting effort into establishing an undertone that I might be scum, but then they vote who I'm voting. It feels like they are pushing a town lynch, and trying to indict other townies leading the train.

While I agree Ishys play sticks the most out, keeping him around for at least another game day could allow us to start vetting people.  If scum ignore the situation (including JiF -- booboo), I'd assume we get more information and start having a big pool of players in that semi-confirmed pool.  If scum kill, then they're going to have a tough time not essentially confirming someone at town (too many people involved).  I'd assume that's the route they'll take as they won't want that group to get too big, but then at least we're forcing their hands in the direction of us.  If we get to deadline without a clear option, he or I are obviously there as fallback plans.

 

Got a good chuckle out of Tina.  I guess you don't read along much at JN, as people explain their votes all the time through case building...but it's a regular occurrence.  D1 joke votes are one thing, D2 coming out is usually down to business.  JiF(booboo) claims to have been playing possum, so as I said...something was off about the post (though I was completely wrong on what exactly, lol)

 

Now for Vam -- I concur he tried to reignite the JiF (booboo) train, sort of...but the bigger deal, to me, is that he seemingly copied my case against JiF (booboo) with the "he's just voting without explaining."  Which, by how Tina is acting, shouldn't be all that odd around here I guess?

It appears that everyone is believing Booboo's role and character claim as Bob, the Town Reporter. Obviously, if he is telling the truth, then he is not someone that we ought to take a chance with on the lynch. Therefore, who will I cast my lynch vote on now? A re-read of the last few pages of this thread provided me a few posts by Ishy that I thought are very scummy. My previous reasons for voting on BooBoo now apply even more strongly upon Ishy. He has been very erratic and extremely defensive, in my opinion. I think that Ishy's behavior is scummy and that the part in the Rumors section of the paper was meant to try to throw suspicion off of Ishy. However, I am placing a major FOS on Ishy because I now believe that he is scum.

At this point, as cop, I decided go with the lynch on Ishy. Make sure he flips town, and gain the context I needed to inform my reads on Tina, Vambram, Rand and Kat.

 

If you look at the trains, you see that theres 4 townies not on Ishy at the time before hammer. IF we believe the rumors on AVM and Verbal. I don't doubt JIF, he hasn't been countered. I'm also uncountered. 

 

I think the Tina, Rand votes to push Ishy over the top reeked. Lenlo pushed the Ishy train, and Peace hid out.

Similar thing happened on d2 when I went from Ishy to boohoo nolder got up my ass for switching votes. He goaded me back onto Ishy. If Nolder were to flip scum, it would make sense that he tried keeping me from pursuing vambram, and how about boohoo?

I'm concerned about booboo, because he suggested leaving the roleblocker alive and voted for AVM who is the person he reported as town, but since nobody countered bob i have no reason to doubt him. I'm surprised he was left alive last night though.
