 Although wasn't she a blonde when the showed the bass player at Barney's wedding?  (who is Ted's wife to be).  I haven't decided if I want it to be someone I know as an actor or a complete nobody.

I really hope that it won't be a let down. It's what we've been waiting for from literally the first episode. The only series I've watched which has been pretty spectacular all the way through was Friends and while this series still had a few dreadful seasons ( -_- ) I loved the early ones and the later ones were great too so I really hope it delivers!

Walking Dead is pretty damn awesome as well but that's only on season 3 at the moment.

But yea the new seasons haven't been as good, but at the same time they have had brilliant moments far beyond the previous seasons. They have gone dark places

And mine but I was watching Friends when I was like 5. My sister was a massive fan and so were my parents so it became our gather around the TV sort of thing.

I agree, they have gone to some dark places these past few seasons.  I have to say, I do find the earlier seasons funnier, but that's the problem with series...you start to run out of ideas/material when they go on for so long.

Natalie Portman would be perfect! My goodness, that would just make it perfect. I bought season 7 yesterday, and watched the whole thing. I disagree in many places with you guys, while it does have many off episodes the whole thing really grew as it went along. I nearly cried at points during 7, particularly when Ted moved out!
