Panchi (Pevara) v. Canuckistani (Cyndane)

 

Pevara

 

Pevara Tazanovni is an Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah who was a Sitter for about fifteen years. She is from Kandor where she was a butcher's daughter and is about 160 years old. She is pretty, short and plump with dark eyes. Along with her best friend Seaine Herimon and several others, she has begun to investigate the Black Ajah in the White Tower. She has also found the moles planted in the White Tower by the Salidar Aes Sedai.

 

Cyndane

 

Cyndane was Lanfear, but she was killed by Moridin when he rescued her from the Eelfinn and Aelfinn. Reincarnated by the Dark One, she is now Cyndane, which in the Old Tongue means "last chance." She was mind-trapped by Moridin and now travels with him and Moghedien, who is also trapped. Her mindtrap was presumably created due to her flouting the Dark One's order that Rand al'Thor was not to be harmed. Cyndane is the polar opposite of her former self. Whereas Lanfear was tall and beautiful with dark eyes and pitch black hair, Cyndane is short, if still pretty, with silver hair, blue eyes and an impressive bosom. Her mindtrap forces her to obey any command given to her by Moridin, who appears to enjoy "playing" with her as punishment for her pride. Cyndane is not as strong in the One Power as Lanfear was. This is revealed to be a result of the Eelfinn granting her wish to make her stronger than any Aes Sedai. In her ignorance, she failed to realize that she was already stronger than any Aes Sedai, so the Finn fed off her ability to channel, making her weaker. However, they drained her too quickly and killed her.
