BG was already acting scummy, Day 3's in the bag. I don't know how you could see my role claim and not the other.... Maybe you saw my role and not my character because someone else told you "BG claimed Enabler" on the QT to help you catch up.

To the bolded... now you are just making stuff up or misrepresting things on purpose. Some people would say scummy skimming is scummy, I say making stuff up that never happened or blatantly ignoring what I already addressed is scummy. Even a skimmer should have seen the case I made on you on Day 3.

 

1. Darthe never claimed to be Enabled... I'm not sure where you got that. And that's not how an enabler works anyway. He claimed to be motivated. Maybe that's what you are thinking of. Look it up or read the rest of Day 3 for clarification. We actually had a good discussion about it.

 

2. I don't believe I was that against you Day 1... I poked Red 1.0 early on. That was it and then I moved on, though people did make a mountain out of that molehill. Only when you subbed in on Day 2 did you start acting all off and really started to bother me. Even Day 2, it wasn't until after Peace confirmed NS did I move my attention fully to you. And if you'll look back to Day 3, again, I posted 3 WoT's explaining my case on you. So, for a while it was a "gut feeling" and then I eventually pinned it down. Here, I'll even link you to the first of the 3 for your convenience.

Almost the entirety of your recent vote of me was I don't have enough pressure and you mock and call me out for trying to hide something I was very open about, my claim. You also somehow apparently saw Darthe's character claim... which brings me back to my point of you somehow missing my character claim... since his was AFTER my role/character claim.

Right. So I was doubled exactly like I said.. Would be a pretty stupid fake claim since if I live through today I would have to use that ability again at some point... So just no to basically everything EP says.. Honestly, listening to the guy at this point should be considered anti-town play. And I do not know where the whole Khal Drogo thing came from but I never claimed that because I am not he. BG has a scummy fake claim though. Gentry. you guys are seriously mean. seriously, 20 pages over the weekand and from quick glances alot are spam. dudes seriously, the game is now over 100 pages long can we cut out the spam. now it just looks like a tactic to burry posts to make a re-read and quote fetch non-feasable.

 

 

also, had i been on at the time i woudl have unvoted BG and voted Darth on that claim of his. Drogo i would have bought, but not a minor character. he lost me at that.

 

So you somehow picked out Darthe's fake character claim and not my character claim EVEN THOUGH in the same post that Darthe claims, he references my claim. How did you do that unless you are getting the cliffnotes version on a QT? Also, why even say this unless you knew who my character was? How could you have made the decision to vote Darthe and not me when you didn't know who my character was? I'm calling it like it is... a scum slip. You can't claim to have wanting to vote Darthe based on his character claim without knowing mine. This post was 100% trying to explain away why you ended up on the wrong side of yesterday's lynch. Normal skimming is only mildy scummy at best, but skimming and then being able to reference smaller details like this to while being ignorant of the rest? Now that is scummy.

 

Also, if you feel it felt Gambity, please provide a basis for that. You say your point stands, but all you said was I think it was a gambit... that's not a point, its fear-mongering. You've already demonstrated that you didn't really read through Day 3 except maybe a basic skim yet somehow gleaned Darthe was Jon Umber and missed I was Gendry even though both are stated in the same post. I've been under lynch pressure since day 1 and you want to continue that pressure now, fine. But don't do it by throwing out baseless accusations about a non-existent gambit and FoSing me on things that are blatently untrue. I feel like you didn't even read any of Day 3, and therefore it is irresponsible of you to try and push a case without properly cathching up so I don't have to keep correcting you. I see what you're saying here. And there's one real problem with that.

 

I'm not mafia. Hence, you are interpreting my actions to fit a "fact" that isn't a fact. I can see how you'd decide that, starting from the incorrect conclusion.

 

If you want to find mafia, watch closely who votes me and who nudges my train. They know I'm not on on their team, and will most likely be thrilled if my lynch succeeds.

 

A few notes about how I play and what I've been doing this game:

 

When I first started playing, I took extensive notes - the Giant Spreadsheet of Doom was known and feared - and was very vocal, making cases with lots of quotes and such. Except for my first game, I had a long run of being town. Hence my reputation for being very vocal as town, casing people, etc. Then I hit a rough patch where I was in too many games at once, plus I had a bedbug infestation in my house, including the corner where my computer sits, which made it difficult to spend the kind of time I had been on keeping up my spreadsheets and casing people. In two of those games, I was mafia, and came across as lurking, solely because I had insufficient time to spend keeping up the spreadsheets, and a real disincentive to sit there and do it when I had the time. Bedbugs suck, just sayin'. I actually made an extra effort in one of those games and caught up the spreadsheet, and was the towniest scum you ever did see. That was Soy's There Goes the Neighborhood game, where most of the game was scum on separate teams, actually, and I hunted the other teams with the best of them.

 

And then I hit a really rough patch where I was still in too many games at once, preparing to switch jobs, and extremely stressed with trying to prepare for the bedbug treatment (and pay for it), and my activity level dropped extremely low, especially in the Final Fantasy game where I had to deal with not knowing the source material, and it being a large game full of people who knew it well, in addition to all that. And that pretty much cemented the meta of "lurking Tress = mafia", because I was on the mafia team there.

 

The thing is, that game also convinced me to change my playstyle because I was so stressed about not being able to play the way I normally do. Ishy was a big part of talking me into it also, and he should remember that. That's about the time he took his mafia break. Since then, I've completed 8 games (well, one of them was Wombat's game on MJ that was cancelled, so not really completed), and was town in 7 of them, and in none of them was I anywhere near as vocal. I don't play with the spreadsheet anymore, multiquote cases are a giant pain in the butt without the notes to tell me where to go find the quotes, and I generally do fly by the seat of my pants more and work more from instinct and yes, meta. If I feel something needs to be said, I'll say it, and if I feel it needs supporting quotes I'll go back and get them, but I don't do it every time anymore.

 

The main reason for that is that it took an enormous amount of time and energy, and caused me a lot of stress. It felt more like a job than a game, and I finally decided to let go and have fun with it instead of treating mafia like a deadly serious responsibility.

 

All that said, this game I've been doing certain things intentionally to try to stay off the mafia's radar. Part of that was my decision to skip pulling the quotes on Red - that was half because I didn't think it worth the time (especially with someone keeping me distracted a good portion of the weekend) figuring that Red was probably just trying to get reactions as a townie.... and half because even if Red was town, playing that out front and vocal when I'm not on the mafia team has a tendency to get me targeted for an early kill. I didn't have anything to do with Red1.0's death, and didn't know for sure she was town until her flip.

 

Rand1.0's lynch, I called it as I saw it, and I wasn't the only one who saw it that way, obviously. I wasn't pushing his lynch, I was actually making an effort to go through what thoughts I had. Starting from the assumption that I am mafia and knew him to be town, I can see how you'd interpret that as me pushing, but again. I'm not mafia. I don't know anyone else's alignment.

 

The game's gone on a little bit, the field has been narrowed, and we have a definite mafia flip to help put things in context, so even without the focus on my activity, I'd have been contributing more. I'd urge you not to disregard everything I say just because you think you have me pegged.

 

And now, time to get ready for work. I'm fully expecting at least one TL;DR, probably from Ishy, and at least one statement that this post was all elaborately scummy, probably from Ed.

I've just looked through all of the posts between the two of you and can't find any previous reference to any N3 doubling. So were you doubled on N1 and N2, or N2 and N3, or all three nights?
