My most favorite moment is probably the scene of Rand on Dragonmount. Dumai Wells comes close though, and so do a ton of other scenes I forgot (really need to do a reread..)

 

Call me a fool, but I think Taim is actually a good guy. I have no proof for this, and the chances are extremely low, but I think he supports Rand.

you cant buy chapter 1, unless you live in the US. You can however just download the torrent and launch it with the kindle reader app on your PC.

Also, what you say is incorrect. Amazon are selling the prologue in some 30 countries. The DM store is limited to north America, that much is true.

 

And really, 3$ is like most of our morning coffees. If someone doesn't want to read it, I fully get that; but to pirate the thing, isn't that just redundant?

I dont have a creditcard dude. cant buy from Amazon. In the Netherlands we use iDeal for online purchases which only requires your bank card.

Ill-deserved? What's there to misunderstand about pirating? Don't get me wrong, I've pirated before (mainly when I was younger, but I still might pirate some stuff, mainly if I can't legally obtain something or if I believe it's grossly over-priced), but I never considered defending the practice. It's breaking the law, pure and simple; I'm sure you understand why we take a dim view of it here. Asking for help doing it, or discussing ways in which it could be managed, is strictly not allowed on DM.

 

Regardless, I'm sure you could find another way, be it Amazon.com gift-cards or using PayPal with B&N.

Hi, Yoni0! Great to see you here. Any new theories after reading the prologue, chapter 1 and 2?

Hi Tin. Well, you know, we did get some more Androl and Pevara in chapter 2. I think people are divided between those who now believe Logain's been captured and sitting in some cellar for the last month (but not yet Turned because... well, I don't know why) and those who believe Taim doesn't know where Logain is either. The problem with that being that Donalo seemed confident that Logain would be Turned by the day after Pevara's PoV. Perhaps they're simply planning an ambush that day, or some such.

 

Either way, things at the BT seem to be coming to a head. With Androl's apparent belief that he could use a Link to help him Travel, some of us figure the only reason he didn't succeed right then and there is that chapter 2 was to be released before the book came out. I guess we'll see if there's more involved shortly after Jan 8th...
