Eondel patrolled with his men, keeping New Elantris safe from Shaor's wildmen, who seemed to be getting smarter every day. He was still beating himself up over not being there to protect Lord Spirit from whatever had attacked him. A sound disturbed the silence. Yells, coming from the right. Eondel quickly rallied the troops and rushed to confront the beast-men. They quickly overwhelmed the small band, but in the process, one hulk of an Elantrian managed to crack Eondel over the head. Combined with earlier wounds, it was too much. He gave in.

 

Eondel's soldiers re-entered New Elantris somberly, carrying his comatose body between them. He was muttering, "Failed, failed my Lord Spirit, failed..."

 

Rand, Eondel, Vanilla Town, has been lynched.

 

It is now Night 3. Night will last until about this time tomorrow.

That's because you trust that Basel isn't lying. I'm guessing he lied about his role to save himself from being lynched. I did it once as a town player. If he was telling the truth then Rand had to be scum. So, most likely Basel is vanilla town.

On another note. What is Key's game? Both days she pops in with the "oops, guess i'm too late" story.
