100 Questions

I thought this might be fun. Instead of one person getting asked 100 questions, though, how about we just collectively ask each other 100 questions?

 

The rules:

1- no repeat questions.

2- you must answer a question in order to ask one.

3- you must ask a question in order to post an answer to one.

4- you can only ask one question per post.

5- Number your question so we can keep up with how far we've come!

6- They can be WoT questions or non-WoT questions. It's totally up to you!

7- Try not to answer in single-word responses and when posing a question, try to make it impossible for someone to answer in just a word or phrase.

 

 

The goal here is to have fun, so either don't ask serious questions or don't expect serious answers. :-)

Because they are of the dark side, selfish, cruel, immature and represent humans at their worst.

Answer: No! Either his death will actually be a "death" (i.e., a loose interoperation of the prophecy), or Nyn will rip him out of Tel'aran'rhiod, or he will return as a Hero of the Horn.

Nope. No where does it say he has to die, it just says its his blood on the rocks of Shayol Ghul, I'm pretty sure that's intentional.

 

Matt, Perrin, Rand. Do any or all live through the last battle?

Talmanes! That's him! I <3 him so much!

 

Matt- YES! He has to go back and make babies with his wife.

Perrin- YES! Faile will not allow anything else. That woman, I swear!

Rand- debatable. I like to think he'll die and come back (you know, Nyn will pull a rabbit out of her hat and poof! Undead zombie Rand!)

 

 

11- Who is going to win the Last Battle?

All channelers. Rand and the Chosen will die off, and Logain will take over, and Egwene will allow an alliance.

Ah, Kyn didn't answer you! *pokes Kyn*

 

I think the Blight will be open again, but it will take years to hunt all the random Shadowspawn down and put them out of their misery. They will all unite under Lan, who will play the reluctant King to the end and Nyn, who will pull her brain every chance she gets (when she's not glaring at people). I don't think all the channelers will die. Maybe that's just my wishful thinking...

 

As for traditions, I think some of them will be reborn with the rise of the Golden Crane and pride in their part of the Last Battle will drive those traditions into stone so no one forgets them again.

Yes, Moiraine will live. She has suffered enough.

 

What will be Moiraine and Thom's purpose be after the last battle?

 

I recall that she said that she and Thom will enjoy traveling together. For what purpose?

If Egwene doesn't tie Moiraine down to help in the WT, Moiraine and Thom will travel to Shara where Thom will continue Noal's work. Their journey will unfold a new dangerous threat to Randland as the crazy Sharans prepare for a massive invasion-- in an outrigger series that we will likely never see.

 

16 - How will the Aes Sedai be balanced by the "Guardians" (Asha'man)-- joining forces? Dangerous rivals? Friendly rivals?

Well, depending on how well we clean the darkfriends out if the Black Tower, they'll either be bitter rivals (if they have to gentle a bunch if them, it might not be pretty) or friendlier than they have been. I think it'll take time to get the two halves working together again.

 

Of course, that's assuming Logain doesn't just open a death gate and suck Taim and his crew in.

 

17- Will the Red Ajah recover and get back on good terms with the rest of the Tower?
