LOL, it's ok, but the SGL apps all work the same way. She wasn't just chosen because she was all that was left. She was chosen because she would be the best at the jobs, and she filled in the jobs from there. For lower staff jobs (AKA Social Group staff other than the SGL), it is up to the SGL on how they are chosen.

 

Even the other applicants agreed she would be the best, we just applied for the minimum application thing :P

 

Luckily, I'm not an idiot and I know when that is happening. It just so happens that there was a perfect applicant for that job. If you catch me on an off day and pull that (just applying for the minimum, especially when I state to NOT do that), I will not hesitate to open the app to all of Dragonmount.

 

I don't often post with an admin hat - I prefer to keep it light and funny. But when I post an official calling for apps, and specifically call out to not do something, it is advisable to follow those directions.

Ah, okay. Most generally there is a process that all must go through (interview, etc.) and then

they try and pick the best one they can. If one door closes, another opens on down the line.

I'm sure it's hard to make a decision on just one person. Can't wait to see who gets it. Fun times are sure to ensue.

Only 1 applicant left to interview - availability hasn't lined up, but I'm working to get this done ASAP. I would expect it to be completed within the next few days, and then things will move very quickly.
