Assuming that other mafia did not vote her until after she called herself mafia, the only people left who can be mafia are AH, Poet, Alanna, Maw, and I (me?). Anyways, I think that no mafia would vote for someone on their team early, no point in doing that so the later vote was Basel, little less suspicion (coincidentally, her early surrender was done right after his vote, probably doesn't mean anything though). Anyways, I know that I am not mafia, I got FoS on AH already. Alanna wasn't on at all I think which I find hard to believe for a mafia. Same thing for Maw, you guys can interpret that however you want to. In summary, AH and Poet either didn't vote or voted after she said that she was a goggie. However, they were active. Alanna and Maw weren't active and didn't vote. I know myself I am not mafia, and Basel I am pretty sure isn't mafia.

As EP said, some mafia will lead a lynch on a less valuable team mate in order to appear town and possibly vet themselves in some peoples eyes. Anyone on that train and not on that train can still be scum. No one is ruled out yet.

Nice analysis Rand. It does make sense that mafia would vote a team member, especially when it looks like a losing cause for them and they want to keep their name clean by being on the bote list. ANd you're probably right that they would vote later ont he list, or not vote at all in most cases.

 

I'm still looking at AH due to the second hammer (It's really been bugging me!) but I want to re-read the last few pages more thoroughly before I say much as I could be wrong or could be missing something.

 

As for me I didn't vote because I had rather come to the same conclusion as Kae originally, that BG was the Doc from his post and had stopepd someone from being NKed. I didn't say anything about it because if he was I didn't want to blow his spot, but I felt bad voting someone for thinking the same as I did without at least getting home from work and doing a decent read of the whole thing. But you guys beat me to it.

 

It's night now so we have a little time. Sometime between tonight and tomorrow night I plan on going over things again with a fine toothed comb to see what I can figure out. So bear with me. It's end of month closing at work and I can only pop on for a minute or two here and there while waiting for my reports to run. :D

Yeah. As mafia, if a vanilla teammate made an error, I'd let it lie in case nobody saw it... then I'd jump on the train as soon as it was pointed out. So for Kae here, I'd look at you, Lenlo, and Nightstrike. Rand I believe to be town.

 

Then of course there would be the people who'd lay low, avoid being active until after the lynch so they didn't have to fight against the town consensus in case a fake claim or something saves their butt.... but they can still avoid being defensive. In that boat I place Poet and Mawth.

Also we need to look back at anyone who tried to do a bit of damage control after the slip, maybe unsuccessfully, but at least tried to paint a bit of sympathy on Kae as soon as the slips were made.

Haven't we ruled out BG because he was attacked though? Also, I don't know if you can be mafia and have a bulletproof vest because that would usually be useless.

In a basic game, yes. In an advanced game where there's an SK, it would be more likely.

We don't have any independent confirmation that BG was attacked. This whole thing could have been set up to convince us that we should rule him out. For all we know, he could be lying about having a BPV, the PM he got saying it was used up, and being attacked, and Kae was in on it with a deliberate slip.

Well, yes, it does, but them main thing I was getting at is that we don't know for a certainty that BG was attacked, and we shouldn't yet be ruling him out.
