this isnt scummy, but it isnt necessary to state it when you are replacing swear words with other words. people are smart enough to glean what you are doing from the context.

that is patently wrong. A fisherman who catches a fish says "ha he took the bait!" a surfer who gets his board bitten in half and then kills the shark says "crap i nearly got eaten!" not "ha, stupid shark, he took the bait!". 'bait' implies you were 'baiting' which implies that you knew you were doing it. dont be naive and pretend otherwise, please.
