Wow, I accidentally clicked out of the thread and DM saved my quoted posts for me - awesome. Although now that I've gone back through, I don't know that I want to post a whole big WoT. That's Red's job .

Some things I noticed:

Sucks our Finder was inactive and then killed.

I'm still suspicious of Soy. While his first vote for me could *possibly* be considered a Day One joke vote, he follows it with the explanation "Had to start somewhere, why not you?" when I ask about it. Seems like a weird response to me - as if he hadn't been paying attention to the game. Then he does a lot of vote jumping around with little to no explanation and I never like that. Even Wombat gets grilled for that sometimes and that's his MO. It hasn't been Soy's, which seems weird to me.

Weirder, though is how Tress ignores Soy's odd behavior (though she's quick to tell me when I mention it that she's noted how Soy has been acting) and goes for my behavior being weird because Soy has given her less to work with. I find this part of her post particularly interesting.

Kae's statement that Kaylee hadn't been posting much yet was very weird and out of the blue, imo. FoS for that. And in my experience (other than EP) they tend to be very quiet actually.

Going back to Soy, he seems very eager to respond to Ishy's statement about having found the scum. Getting nervous since your name was mentioned? Also, responds quickly to my post about having a weak reason to vote for me on D1. I didn't think it was a comment that needed to be replied to, but he was pretty quick to give his excuse.

Then he hops a vote again - to Hoof with no comment as to why.

EP - I second Sakaea with her FoS on you for "I didn't think Hoof was mafia..." post. Reads WAY scummy.

BG reads sorta scummy, mostly for the push on Kae but as I saw that as sorta scummy, meh.

I don't see the scumminess with Tina's playing. I think she's made a lot of sense so far actually.

Vote Soy.

madlsufoiausdlikgjadkfjlkajh - cut off the rest of my post!

Plus, what better way to prove his role than to attempt a lynch? Revealing that is *asking* for a lynch because then we have a vetted townie if you actually are Unlynchable.

Posted

To be honest, vetting a Townie at this point isn't such a bad idea. If he's lying and he's scum, well and good. If he's telling the truth, we narrow the field even further. I say we see where this goes.

Posted

I'll just go ahead and tell you that if you lynch my you'll be waisting a lynch because I'm unlynchable... and Town.

So you're claiming nine livez kitteh? We have to lynch you nine times? My head hurts....

I do love to be seen by you .

So you said the other night. I still have the pics....

Next time I'm going to have to gag you, or make you sign a NDA as you always tell our secrets!

Might be a little early, but at the time they were two quick votes, and that can lead to a steam roll. I've seen it happen before. Figured I'd give any sheep out there something to think about before they wheeled along and voted me for very little reasoning.

Regarding the italics in the first post of BG's I quoted- this is what interests me. You say that votes move around on Day 1, and then when Tina says that you had a strategic reason for voting Kae, you immediately press the attack on her. You've immediately zeroed in on her today too. And by your logic, because votes move around on Day 1, that means Soy should be given a pass for doing what you advocated? Even though he gave almost no reasoning for his votes other than "spreading the love around"? Coupled with Soy's timing for his role claim, I'm almost tempted to test it. But the fact that you jumped right up and said we should test it if there's no consensus has me wondering.

I immediately pressed the attack on Tina because it felt manipulative to meas you'll notice below. The bolded... I don't think I ever complained against Soy moving votes around Day 1, did I? So what's your point?

You sure have a way with words, BG. I keep interjecting conspiracies into your actions. Right! I think you were happy that I voted you so you could get an excuse to move your vote from Sakaea and omgus vote me instead.

Tina seems to think that you gave her an OMGUS vote because she came out against you.

Sakaea pointing out Kaylee was weired. As BG pointed out, lots of players had posted less and Sakaea herself had only posted one time more. She say that new players often posts more. From my experiences I would say that it´s often the opposite. What is even more strange though is BG´s vote for Sakaea. He leaves his vote on her for now and leaves the door open to switch at any time. I do agree with Nolder that if they are both mafia, BG pointed out the obvious to look town but won´t stay there long enough to lynch her.

BG has pinged me more times. He agreed with Song that Key was too defensive but was willing to let it slide. Feels like he was pushing the Key wagon without leaving his vote there. Still he could come back to it later. Also his ideas that it would be good to kill Nolder (me) when he became co-mod was strange.

Vote BG.

Tricky. See, now you've pinned me into a corner. If I decide to move my vote away from Sakaea, you will be able to justify your reason for voting me while simultaneously trying to link me and Kae. You'd be able to say something around the lines of "I told you so! He never intended to vote Kae. Etc, Etc." But if I keep it where it is, then it looks like I'm leaving my vote there in order to not look suspicious since you mentioned it now. Either way, you've set me up to have dirt on me no matter what I do, dirt that you threw at me ironically. I don't blame you for not liking my musing on Nolder being co-mod (since that is you now), but whatever. Backing someone into a corner to force thier move to look bad either way is manipulative.

Unvote: Vote Tina

You accuse her of interjecting conspiracies into your actions, but who's the one that came out with the elaborate reason to vote for Tina because she tried to case you? For an OMGUS vote, that's pretty extreme. And let's remember your statement from earlier that votes on Day 1 move around. She never said that it would make you look bad if you moved your vote - she just pointed out that you had set your reasoning up to come back to the Key train. Overreact much? Unvote, vote BG.

She does imply that it would look bad if I moved my vote. Its a case of if A leads to B, then B is evidence of A. "If they are mafia, BG won't keep his vote there very long." In essence the reverse is, if BG moves his vote, it is evendince they are mafia?

Tina says Kae's vote on Kaylee was weird, which is why I voted Kae to begin with. So she agrees with me on that point. But then she immediately states that my vote on Kae is even weirder when my original reasoning was something she agreed with? Why? Because I didn't unvote? Is that the root issue here? She left me in a screwed if I do, screwed if I don't situation as I pointed out. If I'd have left my vote on Kae, what would that have proven?

Yeah, there was probably a little OMGUS in my vote, but even looking at it from an outside perspective, I felt it was manipulative and that was the primary reason for my vote. I feel it is a good reason and I stand by it.

w00t, drunk Ishy sighting!

When you live in a perpetual state of confusion, then confusion makes it less confusing. Savvy?

I don't like the way Soy has been pinging. I just completed my reread. His D1 votes seemed like they were just dropped in out of nowhere. I'm guessing he was trying to take advantage of typical D1 confusion to create a bandwagon on someone the scum wanted gone. I don't trust the way he was quick to give excuses when someone suspected him. He seemed a bit nervous and defensive when Ishy said he'd found the scum. Finally, his role claim doesn't quite ring true to me with the odd timing. If he had brought this out when he was at L -2 or even L -1, I might find it more believable. But with only 2 votes, it strikes me as something he would be better served keeping quiet about if it were true. I want to see this claim confirmed or disproved. If he is telling the truth, then we can find another person to look at.

As for others, I'm not feeling the BG lynch right now, but I am keeping my eyes on him. I'm leaning toward Tina as town. But that doesn't necessarily mean that BG is scum. I'm not sure about anyone else yet. I'm also keeping an eye on Kae after her vote on Kay for inactivity when she wasn't all that much more active at the time. It's not much to go on there, but it does bear watching.

VOTE SOY.

I agree with this. I find his vote jumping with little explaination to be odd. I also found it odd about the claim as Basil pointed out.

I'm not too sure about BG at this point but will be keeping on eye on him. I'm also getting a town vibe from Tina. That's what I've noticed at this point.
