That makes 3 votes for Arez...hmmmm...

I think I'm going to Vote Ishy with love because he started the votes on Arez today, and I think it's fitting that he be a competing train. No, I have no other case. But I'm not really feeling the Arez lynch, to me he just feels like a n00b who made a few mistakes.

Arez is pinging me, but i dislike the train being formed on him because people think he's being coached, and yes thats how this is comming off as. i think i'm gonna go back and skim the thread when i have tiem to see if anyone else besides him jumps out.

and i'm back

Checking in and VOTING RAZEN just because I feel like it.

Yeah, VOTE RAZEN for now, for not doing anything useful.

i'm noting this vote, but because of the Meta on Pnada it doesn't ping as much. it's also the only ping worthy thing from Panda i've seen so far, so not much to go on yet

Unvote: Razen

Vote: Levity

Because I'm Panda (Disciple) and Levity hasn't posted here yett :@

Oh my Creator!! Razen, you just made a big misstake..

Unvote: bloody Levity

Vote: Razen

Reason, he must be a mafia because he wants to kill Panda (boss)!!

some of the vote flipping that peopeel are talking about.

his vote was also a 3rd on the wagon, a joke wagon at that.

Unvote. Vote Razen.

Arez has been changing his vote all over the place, and I thought about voting him. But I would like to avoid a random lynch, and I figure Razen's reveal will give us some useful info. We might be able to extraploate something about Arez from how Razen flips.

linking two players together is never something i agree with. PING

We need to put pressure on someone to get this game moving. Razen has 3 votes. I'd like to get other to apply some pressure and see what happens.

Putting pressure on Razen since he had 3 votes already was pretty sensible I guess, but in my opinion you risked a bandwagon of the mafia onto him since We have what 3/ 4 mafia members? and it's a hammer game. So let's say none of the previous 4 voters are mafia, the mafia have three options:

1. Rzaen is a Townie - so they all join the bandwagon and we have a D1 townie lynch

2. Razen is a Townie, but they don't want to draw attention to themselves overly much, so they join the vote here and there and find ways to frame Raz as scum or

3. Razen is Mafia, and his mafia mates will withdraw their votes before someone can hammer and since none of us will suddenly jump and put 4 votes on him, it's a safe-ish option. But doing this could give them the opportunity to create steady bases for future arguments of their non-scumminess.

I think that there is already a mafioso or two on my train. I am currently at four votes, according to our latest vote count, which would mean that the mafia could have swept in and gone for the kill already if they hadn't already been on my train to begin with.

Tyn's post pings me, more of a gut ping than somethign i can put a finger on.

Razen's words have alot of wieght in them. at this point these were the peopel on his wagon. Aemon, Panda, Arez & Basel. we know Aemon is town, my guess is that 1, maybe 2, of the remaining people are scum; but not all 3. atm, the only one i have a heavy scum vibe from is Basel.

I don't like just voting on people  Usually takes a lot that I am quite very convinced

Raz, either that or they're enjoying watching us stew and would rather not have an obvious bandwagon out of which we can pick off mafia members

That, or maybe we just like watching the back and forth between people. It was starting to seem like a tennis match or something for a while there.

BIG FRUEDIAN SLIP and the best thing right now to apply pressure for

VOTE: BASEL

 Red have you been wearing Verbys clothes again? Wait... you would look like a girl then...

Anyhow, while I really dislike being the hammer vote, I'd rather not end up with a random lynch.

Vote Razen

this vote stinks to high heaven and smeels of a scum slipping in the hamemr to appear as town. Tyn is now higher up on my list.

And if it's examples you're wanting (and seriously, do any of you really need any? We were all there), I invite you to look at the number of votes/unvotes he made, and also when called on it, the complete 180 he made in his posting style. Reeks of being coached, and I'm not the first one who picked up on it.

I was suspicious of Arez's vote flips before (I think I actually posted something to that effect at the time), but it seemed like something he would be told not to do by his teammates if he were scum. Then all of a sudden he settled down and stopped flipping so much. I'm thinking he started posting without first getting the advice of his fellow scum, and it wasn't until later that one of them gave him some pointers. Judging by the number of rampant flips, it may have taken a couple times before the message got through.

Vote Arez

i dislike this vote, basically he's leading with the coached aspect too heavy and not adding anythign new. a very safe vote imo.

VOTE: BASEL

I'm sorry, Red, but could you please clarify this? That was something I said during Day 1, when there were still 12 of us alive. Discounting the two participants in the back-and-forth going on (the "tennis match" I was referring to), that leaves 10 people to sit and watch the interplay between the two of them. Eleven if you count Christine. I don't know about anyone else, but I found it enjoyable to observe. Now, last I looked ten of anything constitutes a group. So if it's a group, it's plural. So why wouldn't I say "we"? It isn't like I should be using "I" here.

 is quite puzzled. (DM could use a better smiley for "puzzled". "Unsure" just doesn't cut it sometimes.)

Posted

when you use the word "We" in a sentance like that, it comes of as VERY misleading Basel ^^

I guess that Red Interprets it like you're a part of the Heroes, and you guys like to sit and watch your meal tire itself out before going in for the kill =)

To me it almost seems that you're saying "We just like to let you kill each other before we make any effort to do so ourselves" If you get what I'm saying ^^

*nods* Well, I suppose what I said could be read that way. The "we" had been meant to refer to the entire population of the game, but I hadn't even thought Red was referring to my use of first-person. I don't expect people to believe me, based on past experience, but I don't find it anything worth getting bent out of shape over.

Huh. I'd like to ask a few questions before I make a vote.

@ Arez: Why have you given up?

Yeah, VOTE RAZEN for now, for not doing anything useful.

Dearest Red, why should that be ping-worthy at all?

Posted

Ugh, I can see both sides of the Basel thing. Basel, why say that at all?

*shrugs* I don't know, it seemed harmless at the time. It certainly never occurred to me that it could be read the way Red seems to be reading it. *adds another thing to my increasingly long list of "Things Not To Do in Mafia"*

Posted

I should start a list like that...

Im still here by the way. Just reading and looking at everything with not much to add. Everything ive thought up has already been asked and I find it annoying to be the repeatedly asked the same question over and over. Figured some of you might feel the same.

Posted

so fos b-g for that little bandwagon vote. I thought arez made a lot of since in his post about the whole coaching thing.

Red how does any of what hes doing sound like hes being coach, for someone like you to mistake that as being coached, well frankly its very weird. so slight ping there.

<br style="color: rgb(77, 67, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px; background-color: rgb(255, 254, 253); ">

So i have a slight issue that hopefully you can fix. Its not with the words them self because its possible. But what i see is you linking players based on the alignment of aemon and i do believe you just said linking players was scummy?

Posted

Okay, hi.

I told Christine I would be back by two days ago, bleh.

Since I'm only in one game now, I can focus better.

Posted

I currently have my eyes on Arez, of course, as seems to be the general consensus? One of Lenlo's posts pinged me a little, though; I'm waking up bright and early tomorrow, so expect more from me (and I mean it lmao).

For reference, though:

Know what... no matter how sad I am that he was not scum' date=' seeing Joffery get slapped over and over and over and over again was worth it. Now all we can do is to sit and wait and see who turns up dead. Hopefully there will be more amusing videos though. [/quote']

I have no idea why, but this caught my attention a little bit.

and

>_<..so he wasn't scum.. Ashes.. *sigh*

This seems like... such a forced reaction. Is it just me?

Posted

I got nothing to say about my ping on your radar. It was 100% true. Those slaps amused me. They still do.

*Goes back an watchs slaps again*

Yup.

And yeah I agree Levity. It does seem like a forced reaction. Kinda like he expected it and had to think up some reaction to the kill.

Posted

It might not have been that post in particular that pinged me, actually... I remember seeing another, but I'll have to dig for it tomorrow. My read on you isn't really very strong; it might be gut at best, but I just thought I'd throw that out there, haha.

Posted

I might sound a little forced.. The problem was, and still is, that it was me vs Razen right? If I voted for Razen to get killed and it turns out he was a Townie, doesn't that make me a suspected Mafia? Because that is what most people seem to think ^^ I was hoping he was a mafia, at the moment it seemed very much possible, because I feared what would happen if he wasn't (and that's exackly what has happend..)

Oh, right, I have to mention that I realised what the consequences might be after I'd already voted for Razen, and to keep switching votes is just plain suicide.. ^^ This is, as I've said to many times before, my first game xP

So that's why I got kinda down that Razen wasn't mafia.. Now I'm having a bloody well hard time of clearing my name xD But I believe justice almost always prevails (to think it always does is just plainly naive ^^).

Posted

Oh my Lenlo.. You seem to be doing the same misstakes over and over.. You are just to insistant on calling me a mafia that you bring up very weak arguments as to why I am one. Sometimes their just completly illogical xD

"It does seem like a forced reaction. Kinda like he expected it and had to think up some reaction to the kill. "

If I "expected" it, wouldn't I bloody well have a "reaction" planned up? Why would I need to think up a reaction if I've already planned for it xD?!?

Posted

Lev, are you on a smartphone or something that is doing just plain quote tags with no attributions? It's kind of confusing reading the bits you quote and then having to dig back to see what post they are from, or even who you are quoting.

Sorry, I didn't name the quotes properly--I thought I did last night, but I guess that didn't happen. I usually remember who I'm quoting though so if that happens again I'll remember to mention who in particular I was quoting (in this case, Lenlo and Arez respectively)/

Also, good morning.

This sounds almost like an OMGUS, but I'm being a hypocrite pointing this out lolwhoops

I don't like the way he's doing it, though. I mean, yeah, I understand--I hate it when scum draw out weak cases on me and they end up being followed regardless of how hard I defend myself, but here I'm just... I don't know. The people suspicious of you mostly have good reason to be.

If I "expected" it, wouldn't I bloody well have a "reaction" planned up? Why would I need to think up a reaction if I've already planned for it xD?!?

It's not a matter of planning out what you want you reaction to be, but rather feigning surprise to make others believe that... well, you are surprised and a little frustrated at being wrong in your suspicions and getting a townie lynched. Of course, forcing these reactions too hard just makes them look like false guilt.

Posted

Oh even without your pointing out his reaction I was already voting for him. So far to me he is the closest thing to scum ive seen. This might be inexperience since this is just my second game but im going to stick by it for now.
