A wicked grin splits the Monocle's face, even as the noose is placed over his head. His teeth are yellowed, his eyes bit unfocused and you realize that he has lost himself to the madness just a little.

"You cannot lynch me. It simply will not work..."

A blade whisks forth, resting lightly against a fluttering vein along his neck.

"We'll be the judge of that."

He laughs then, but it is cut short as the rope is hoisted and The Dark Monocle begins a tap dance that will never touch the floor.

VERBAL, THE DARK MONOCLE AND MAFIA AUTOMATON RECRUITER, IS DEAD.

The group looks at one another, half in satisfaction and half in dread.

The black clad figure sheaths the blade and speaks a deadpan voice.

"Let's finish this."
