March is our traditional celebration of arts & crafts month here at the Kin. I would like this to be broad and cover things you can do and/or are interested in. I am even putting this conversation out in the public forum so that ANYONE can get in on it!

So, what would you like to see next month? What can you do that you'd be willing to share with the Kin?

im not very crafty, so not sure how I could come up with something. What is considered to fall under crafts and arts?

Maybe we can hold a competition of sorts. A writing competition, like a caption game. Where you post an image and Kinsters have to caption it. (or I could post an image).

Or make a collage of pictures (using the same principle of making a siggy) around a subject you choose?

Or a story where everyone writes one sentence and so the story builds up with everyone contributing their own twist to it?

The book mark you sent me was beautiful, Myst, and I know you can make pretty stationary... ;)

And that would be perfect, piano! Step by step pics? Using a pattern?

*giggles* Awesome. I've been putting off making cheesecake for the first time very long now, and my husband loves cheesecake, so since his birthday is on sunday..... Guess what I'll be doing!

Lol I have a big interesst in food, and Im very concius of what I eat, pluss my husband works as a waiter in a gourmet resturant... Doesn't mean all our food is fancy and french or anything, but I make as much from scratch as possible.

LOL I would love to have the time, Misheru! With us getting home so late and baths... I have fifteen to twenty minutes to have dinner on the table and only one of us has their hands free to cook.

And I totally count cereal, Hairthbeorn! Otherwise my toaster struedel doesn't count!

And, lemme say, my dear piano, I envy your room mate! Whether you share or not, the smell would be worth it!

Recipe, in case someone wants it.

12-13 big crackers, like grahams or something (I used a norwegian brand called Bixit, they are oatmeal and sort of salty and sweet)

100grams of butter

1pck of lemon jello powder

half amount of water that says on the jello box

1 bok of cream cheese like philadelphia

3dl of cream

250gram sugar

lemon juice

1 pack of lemon jello powder

Bottom: Put the crackers in a plastic bag and mash them to crumbs with a rolling pin or something. Stir them together with the melted butter. Press into a round cake form (about 24 cm) til it gets even. Make whipped cream of the cream and sugar. When the jellocheese mixture is cold, stir carefully together with the cream, add lemon juice to your taste. Pour over the bottom and put in the fridge.

Make jello. Let it cool down to room temperature, pour about a cm on top of the cake. Leave in the fridge until the next day.

Very easy, and it got totally perfect. SO unhealthy, but a treat! It holds 3-4 days in the fridge, and a week in the freezer.

Put the water to a boil. Pour in jello powder until it's mixed. Stir in the cream cheese til it's melted. MAke

That sounds great, Misheru! I wonder if there's a comparable cracker here in the states. They sound interesting!
