Though I find it odd people think homosexual to be an insult.

Clearly you haven't been to JN.

Well now, we aren't on JN now are we?

True but there are a lot of JN people playing. I feel right at home.

WAH! I wanna vote.

Also, Pats, you are so jelly bro.

I do agree that the Ape was defending Nolder, and they were seriously buddying, but who the hell would defend Tyrion?!

Also, Aiel, I love you, but it's not safe for you here. People are dying in here. Insanity has ensued. PEOPLE ARE FLINGING POOP!

*offers popcorn* But, if you are gonna stay, come and enjoy the show.

Best answer to that question is Jaime Lannister.

Since Ape claims not to know the source material, I wouldn't expect that's the reason, but it's still very possible.

Also, in the interest of giving Aiel a chance to get her bearings, I'll unvote for now. There are others who need some pressure IMO... back shortly with all that.

Posted

Nolder claimed that he could talk to his teammates. I don't see why Ape wouldn't know that.

But, Jaime is Cersei's buddy. If any Lannister defended Tyrion, it would be... Kevan? Kevan is my best bet. Or Tommen. Tommen likes his Uncle, right?

Vote JF80 for quitting.

<snipped>

Did we start back at the beginning of day 1? What a fascinating collection of votes with no attempt at an explanation.

Fair enough. I'll give a better reason for my vote. Nothing but spammy inconsequential posts and bringing in the obligatory JN kill Ape argument.

True, but he just got here.

Ishy and Vic have been here since the beginning and have provided about as little game-related discussion (although Ishy did weigh in on the disagreement between Ape and Amega, if only to say it was all in good fun).

I'd prefer to give JF80 a chance (and hope he deserves it) to work his way into some content, and pressure someone who's had several days to contribute. Would like to see some game related discussion from both of them, but since I can only pick one...

Vote: Vic

lol razen i am in by no means offended by ape i just think that he is a bully in mafia...i surely hope that when this game is over that we are still friends.....

My point. Was simply this... if you dont know who your team is and cant contact them...you only have a team based on words. To me that sounds like she doesnt have team mates.

If i said i have friends but i dont know who they are and i dont have any of there numbers...would you say i had friends or not?

I never lied... the most you could say was i put it in my own POV.

So if you look at it from my point of view...it would seem contridictory john.

The fact that you get so angry is why im going to keep my vote. But im done on this subject...im tired of getting laughed at by sakaea :(

Ape is a *******ing ***** of **** I hope**** a awful, horrible *****ing *****. **** him. There I said it for everyone without swearing or breaking the DM rules and such.

Incidentally, Pats fan that post still aint exactly kosher by DM's standards. You aren't even supposed to use asterisks or half words like f*** or anything like that. In fact, strictly speaking GFY isn't really kosher on DM. Not that I care that much about cussing tbh, just want you to be on the up and up so you know what's legit here and elsewhere on the site

What is that crap Nol??? That the crackhead in Requiem for a Dream. Why is he singing? Make him stop.

He's also the guy from this movie:

That is pretty epic

Notice I didn't try handing out or mentioning "REP". Signs like this and other indicators (like the fact that I don't follow an irrelevant NFL franchise) helps make it clear to everyone how much of a tool I'm NOT

It was a long night. Not the Long Night, thank the Seven, but a long night. Some of you did not live to see the day.

The first body is found in the Great Hall. His stunted frame has been shortened even further by a decapitating blow from an axe.

Nolder, Tyrion Lannister, Vanilla, House Lannister has been killed.

House Lannister is enemies with the Cult, House Stark, King in the Narrow Sea, Highgarden, and House Greyjoy.

The next body is found in his chambers. He is naked, lying in a huge pool of blood. A razor is found next to him. His privy parts are mostly shaved and there is a huge gash in his groin. The maester says his femoral artery was severed and he bled to death.

Verbal, Ser Loras Tyrell, Knight of Flowers, Vengeful Sibling, Highgarden is dead.

Highgarden is enemies with the Cult, King in the Narrow Sea, House Greyjoy, and House Lannister.

Thankfully, the manner of the next person’s death is much more conventional. He bears fatal wounds from a longsword.

Amegakure, Victarion Greyjoy, Nightkiller, Backup Faction Leader, House Greyjoy has been killed.

House Greyjoy is enemies with the Cult, House Stark, King in the Narrow Sea, Highgarden, and House Lannister.

It is now Day 3. With 24 voting players, it takes 13 to lynch.

So, I def think we should be paying vert close attention to the death scenes in the mornings, can help us keep track of which teams are killing who. The axe showed up the day before I know, to be used on one of the Night Watch peeps I think. Something tells me the longsword might be Ice, so whoever Ned is might have had some fun with Amega. This tells me it's likely Ape ISN'T a Stark because it appears the Starks might have wanted to paint Ape as the bad guy since he was arguing so much with Amega.

I think the axe might be the Lannister's executioner, not sure tho.

As for who to vote for, Goin after inactives now seems a little unnecessary. I'd say we got good targets without diving into the inactives pool (although I'm worried like others are about Smash's NA hint). Personally, I think Nolder is a good choice to go for today. That whole business about him questioning other's ability to speak on a QT with their teammates thing is what worries me. It might have been a trap statement, but if so we can always go after others that fell in with him. Either way it could have been a slip on his part, admitting he had a QT when he thought every faction would have one. It's become apparent that not every faction has a QT or know who their members are, so the ones who do are prob either the "true" scum (the Lannisters imo) or possibly Cult.

Oh, one more thing I think everyone is forgetting about. I'm not the biggest fan of setup talk this early in the game either, but has no one thought of the possibility that the Others would be the Cult? I mean, fits in perfectly, they LITERALLY turn you to their side and everything. They could be some other kind of hidden threat I suppose, but I'd be surprised if they weren't in this game at all

Oh gawd... I'm a moron. That's what I get for posting in a rush before audit, when I had finished catching up to the game a little bit before lol. Disjointed thoughts ftl.

Well at least this gives me more time to go back and find that other death post... found it

The sun rises over the Baelor's Hill and the Red Keep, but not all of you are here to see it. The first body is found in the Great Hall. All indications show that he put up quite a fight, but he is dead nonetheless, with bruising on his throat, and a huge slash across his leg.

Pac, Jon Snow, FBI Agent, brother of the Night's Watch has been killed.

The next body also wears the black. He has been decapitated, seemingly by a large axe.

Graendals Favourite, Jeor Mormont, Governor/Recruiter, Lord Commander of the Night's Watch has been killed.

The next body is found in the Tower of the Hand. She is wearing fine silks and has had her throat slit.

Red, Lady Catelyn Stark, Vanilla, House Stark has been killed.

It is now Day 2. With 28 voting players, it takes 15 to lynch.

Okay, what stands out to me now is that the axe-executioner more than likely isn't the Lannisters murder weapon. However, I was spot on about Nolder being a Lannister scum! Hooray for me. Anyhoo. Okay so which faction/team would more than likely be resonsible for all the beheadings? It could still be the Lannisters, and they just happened to have their NK go awry, but I'm betting it's someone else now. Any fliers on this one?

As for what I said before about the longsword, I still think that might be the Starks' kill. Interesting tho, in that there wasn't a kill using a similar murder weapon from night 1. This leads me to believe we might be in a situation where some factions can only kill on even nights or something like that.

Examining the other deaths, I find the way Verbal (Ser Loras) and Red (Catelyn) died to possibly be connected. Both of their deaths seem to have come at the hands of a skilled assassin or something; Loras died apparently at the hands of someone who had gotten close enough with his guard let down to do the deed, and Catelyn died in fine silks with her throat cut, making it seem like death came swiftly before she could even react. This leads me to believe we might have a SK/Vig on our hands, and they might be able to kill every night. Maybe Arya/Cat/Ghost or maybe even Jaqen H'gar if that's his name, the guy who kills those people for her.

Dunno bout Jon's death, that could possibly have been at the hands of an Other I suppose.

Okay enough blubbering, Unvote... not sure yet who to vote for. I want to see if I can find any others who unwittingly admitted to having a QT... which means a frikkin reread. Already. FML

Posted

Actually I think I'm overthinking this. I didn't want to vote for Ape since his train mainly consists of his JN bosom buddies, but honestly he was defending Nol so since Nol flipped Lannister this is really kind of simple.

Vote Ape

And once I get around to that reread I'll figure out who it was that defended Nol, saying it was a trap statement. Or was that Ape? Gawd my head needs clearing.

Also I agree with Red - very scummy Nolder.

But not scummy enough for you to vote him... just nudge suspicion to him and see if it sticks?

That post by Nolder resonated with me as a "get reactions" post. Which is what he does as town.

When he's scum, he isn't purposeful, especially not D1. When scum, he usually latches onto someone D1 for no reason - and advocates that D1 are pointless and we should just get it over with with a quick lynch.

1st defense of Nol. Note how he already starts going on about how you can spot if Nol is scum or not. This theme continues.

Also I agree with Red - very scummy Nolder.

Agree with this. So if you will excuse me Im gonna go shoot myself and burn the remains.

unvote

vote tinahell

Crusher has spent the entire game talkin junk about Ape, using their relationship on JN as a pretext. Distancing much, especially when acting exasperated about ACTUALLY agreeing with him?

I agree that Nol is acting like Nol D1 town.

Tina, you are coming off slightly scummy.

I have to go to a 2 hour meeting *shoot me now*. BBL

more defense of Nol

if she was part of your faction wo9uldn't you alwready know it?

and this right here is the best ping all game.

VOTE: NOL

Really, Red? Seems like an interesting choice for "best ping," especially for someone that's played a billion games like you have.

Key comes out to semi-defend Nol, attacking Red's case at the same time. Key has me worried this game, there were a couple of other posts I didn't grab cause I was already pulling so many, but at one point she came on thread to admonish an inactive, when she's been fairly inactive as well. Add to that the fact that she also brought back up the whole greyjoy argument right when more people were starting to pay attention to Nol. Strong FOS so far at everyone I've quoted.

Also I agree with Red - very scummy Nolder.

funny, I thought it was more of a "I'm drunk and I want to know what the hell this guy is talking about" post

Nol admits himself it wasn't a trap statement (slippin and slidin away!)

Alright, 2 things.

1. Tina is pinging me on the Greyjoy thing. Pushing that just a little hard. I mean, it's one thing to kind of breadcrumb who you are, but you're just going for overkill, as though... There is 32 people in this game, not enough to have all of house Greyjoy as part of the characters. I am betting that the role you were given as a fake claim is a Greyjoy. So, yeah.

2. I never thought I would agree with Red, but FoS Nolder. THIS post. I have no idea who else is in my faction. I am more than certain that I am not the only one like that. Given that statement, it seems to me as though you must known who is in your faction, which means you are probably a hindrance against others.

Unvote: Red

VOTE: NOLDER

it's funny that you take my question as confirmation that I'm aligned with anyone when it's just as likely I asked because I have no idea how the factions work and was digging for info

just looking for an excuse to pile on pressure obviously

Unvote: Panda

Vote: Christine

I've got to agree with the Nolderp here. Christine's drawing short-sighted conclusions about why Nolder would have asked that question. The fact she's played way more games with him than I have, and I see what he was doing and she doesn't makes me question her actual agenda... seems like she's building a presumptuous case on an easy lynch candidate. When the reality is he just asked a trap-style question to see how peeps react.

If we were to lynch either of them, I'd go Christine. Frankly, IF Nolderp is up to no good, it will become obvious sooner than later, and he's easy to take out later. For now though, I am getting a strong town read on him.

Elementary Dear Watson: anyone who has a "strong town read" on someone on day 1, ESPECIALLY in a game like this, is just screaming out "please lynch me!!!" OP says it, the lines between town and mafia are somewhat blurred for this game. Because of that, I'm really not spending any time thinking of who I have "town" reads on.

Been awhile since I played here so not much to Meta on other than you being an ape that is fun to kill, pac being a mule that is fun to kill, nolder being nolder easy to kill and tx being hess and not so much fun to kill but fun anyways.

Tinahell and Christine seem to stick out to me. I agree with Nolders post being set to draw a reaction as well as him being a soft target.

Crusher even says this after Nol said it was him reacting honestly while drunk mafiaing. Ping

I think Tina is acting slightly scummy and could vote for her. Christine is also sticking out. Like I said earlier, Nol appears to be day 1 town. He's easy to spot as scum.

I don't have time to look through the thread for anything solid since I have to go run some errands for work. I'll hopefully have time during lunch and after 3 this afternoon.

Repeats the party line of "Nol is easy to read as scum, he's most assuredly town in this game" when town means... what exactly? Town means they're part of your faction? Well mebbe Ape and Leelers are right in a sense, Nol was town... part of THEIR town :pointsfingeraccusingly:

So, I think we have a fairly good shot of taking out some more Lannisters by studying this group of peeps. Ape is obviously at the top of the list so I'll keep my vote on him, but Crusher, Leelou, and Keyholder all have my attention as well. I don't think it takes a rocket scientist either to figure out that the Lannisters are probably EVERYONE'S enemy and are the closest thing we have to scum in this game, so fire away factions!

And yes, I realize I'll prob get NK'ed now by the Lannisters. Well go ahead you mangy lions! Waste a shot on me!

Posted

Will everyone keep their hands off my bacon flowers! :-p

And no, I'm not a lannister. My faction is against the lannisters.

Song has been pretty quiet lately.

I want to reread myself before voting, but I am leaning towards an Ape vote. I should have time this afternoon.
