You do realize that your vote of Thorum essentially saved Lev, right?

Only because other people agreed that Thorum was worth lynching. If Levity had kept the lead, I would have switched my vote to her. My vote wasn't set in stone; I'm sitting in front of my computer filling out job apps; I can check in whenever I want to and I knew I'd be around plenty before the deadline. Thorum was only supposed to be tied with Aemon after I cast my vote.

Wait a minute! You just said you got Ninja'd! According to you, when you were casting your vote, Lev was the high lynch candidate!

Yes, your point being?

At the time you were preparing your post (adding magenta color and whatever), Lev had the lead. Your argument for voting Thorum is that other people agreed he was worth lynching but if they stayed on Levity, you would have switched your vote?

I'm calling ultimate galactic bullshanks on you here!

You switched off me and onto Thorum, despite Lev being the lead lynch candidate. Your vote on Thorum, with Lev's switch, was the swing vote, so you can't say that you would have voted Lev if she had the lead because you didn't when she had the lead.

Your defense for voting Thorum is essentially that you were voting with whoever's lynch seemed to be going through, as long as it wasn't Levity. You claim that you would have voted Lev if she maintained the lead, but it was your vote on Thorum that dropped her from the lead. Either you are half-ass playing this game or you are scum protecting Lev.

I'm sorry to crush your suddenly soaring hopes, Mynd, but you are grossly misunderstanding me.

I voted Thorum because he was scummy. My vote on you was a sinking ship with only 2 votes left, and Thorum had been the other person who stuck out to me in any sort of real way, so I voted for him, since his vote was gaining traction.

I suspect this is the quote you are primarily misinterpreting:

What I am saying here is not that I voted Thorum because others voted him (which is what you seem to have understood). What I am saying is that my vote "saved Lev" only because other people also wanted to vote Thorum.

Basically, I voted Thorum because he was Suspect #2 and the only one of my suspects with any substantial amount of votes. If Levity had retained the lead, and the Thorum train had gone nowhere, I would have switched closer to deadline because there would have been no point in staying on Thorum, either.

But that is not correct. You claim you were ninja'd but if that were true, then you began to post your vote when Lev was the high lynch candidate. Your vote would have tied Thorum and Lev at that point. Of course Lev wants to vote Thorum because otherwise its her. BG and Amadine didn't vote Thorum until AFTER you did, and with the deadline approaching, of course they are gonna avoid a random lynch. Your vote saved Liv from being the one lynched today, and the fact that you both voted near and around the same time suggests to me that you both are working together.

Again, Lev lost the lead because of you. There was no retaining the lead once you voted.

First part--get your facts straight. When I started typing my post to vote Thorum, Thorum only had 2 votes (aemon and GF), and Levity had 4. One more vote for Thorum puts him at 3, not 4. Honestly, the math is fairly simple, I know you're plenty capable of it. My vote on Thorum ONLY tied Thorum and Levity AFTER Levity's vote switch. Neither of them had the lead till BG voted.

Second part--again, get your facts straight. My vote was vote #4 on Thorum when all was said and done, and Levity had 4 on her as well.

Sometimes its too easy. You've just admitted to voting Thorum to save Lev. If your goal was to just go along with who everyone was voting for (to use your words), then why would you not go along with the four votes on Lev?

Either your emotions are too wrapped up in this game to see straight, or you are scum protecting Levity.

I'm not going to have internet in a moment because my mom hates me but maybe third time's a charm and maybe this effing post will finally go through.

You are putting words in my mouth, Mynd. I never said my goal was to vote where everyone else was voting. I explicitly said, in fact, that I voted Thorum because I thought he was scummy, and not because everyone else was voting for him.

I am not even joking, if you tell me I said something I've already explicitly said the opposite of one more time, I am going to leave. I am sick of people doing this to me.

For reference:

I'd still much prefer a Mynd lynch, but with something like 6 and a half hours left, I dunno that that's going to happen.

Thorum being the other person who stuck out to me, and garnering enough reactions to gain information from his lynch no matter the alignment (because I think Aemon's been dogging him quite a bit so it'll be interesting to see what turns up)....

Unvote

Vote Thorum

And I don't feel like digging much deeper in the time I have left online to find the quote where I said that I thought Thorum stuck out to me, originally. But it's there. Not making stuff up. Ugh.

Day 1 Final Vote Count:

Levity (2): Christine, Mr. Soy Boyo

aemonkristen (3): amegakure, Red2111, Thorum

Thorum (7): aemonkristen, Graendals favourite, Levity, mmeeshal, bgrishinko, Amadine, Myndrunner

7 to lynch

Things started slowly. Test subjects did not seem to realize their peril until shortly before the end of the first phase. Eventually, a consensus was reached, and the one called Myndrunner strangled the one called Thorum with a rubber snake he had secreted somewhere on his person. Most interesting.

Impressions (not to be mistaken for impersonations):

Graendal, BG and Christine might as well not be in the game as far as activity counts, though Graendal did jump in to vote.

With Thorum flipping Town, I am more inclined to lean toward Town on Levity.

Amega is either Town or a brilliant Scum. I only targeted him because he said something I could use to get people talking about the game. I am putting Amega at the bottom of my list of suspects.

Red, Mynd and Meesh are the most active of those remaining and I have no read on them whatsoever. The Mynd/Meesh exchange where Mynd was nitpicking everything Meesh said makes me wary of a distancing ploy.

I need to go back and check on Boyo and Sakea as they haven't left any impression on me at all this game.
