Yeah, Nol, assuming Kae isn't making her list up (ie, if she wasn't recruited), there was no vote control submitted last night.

 

I dunno about your "cult going after scum under the direction of a former member" theory... I think if the cult can successfully recruit mafia, it might be easier for them to just plan on recruiting only scum for the next few nights. It's also much more advantageous--they increase their numbers at the same time as they're eliminating an enemy faction. So yeah, I get that you didn't say you think that's what's going on, I just wanted to address it--I highly doubt that's what's happening.

Also @Verbal, casing to me is where you bring up all the posts that support your theory and point out why you think you're legitimately onto something. I was just reviewing, and pointing out what had pinged me in the first place. As I pointed out, there was even some stuff I forgot Womby had said, so it was a good thing I reviewed, because otherwise I would have been going by inaccurate memory alone.

Mine are ok now. I'm only allowed soup and Jelly atm but when they did it I seem to be fairly immune to local so they had to keep dosing me.

 

 

So back to mafia. At this point when I was going through my notes I found they are oddly lacking on Turin. This worries me. Especially since he has a fairly high post count. So tomorrow I shall reread and do a case on him I think.

I had intended to do it today but the pain killers I'm on make me sleepy and I fell asleep and was out of most of the afternoon lol

 

As for Nolder I don't believe he is scum but I could easily see him being recruited to the cult. I'll watch him closely when I do the reread

Everyone's all like "I wanna see this case, it should be interesting, cos I personally don't think there's anything there" and I'm like "no, dude, I'm not casing, I'm just pointing out what made me have a bad feeling about him originally just to see if there's still anything there for me or not" and you're like "yeah, that's totally casing" and I'm like, "not to me personally, just FYI" and you're like "semantics, blah blah blah." So yeah. Let me have my own definition, it doesn't hurt anyone, does it?

 

I don't really understand, no. Post 1673 was yours, saying you agreed with Wombat's theory but were thinking about it differently, and that you were on the fence about it.... Post 1678 was my vote for Wombat, a mere 5 POSTS after yours. 1681 was where Kate asked me, among others, to elaborate on our less-than-eloquent votes.... 1684 was where I said "going to bed, but hmm, I don't have anything solid off the top of my head so I'll go dig through the thread and pull up what it was that bugged me in the first place." Your next post was 1689, where you said you were looking forward to my "case," because you had a good feeling about Wombat.

 

That is 15 posts made between your posts at the time, only 2 of which were mine. Furthermore, you responded to the Wombat issue that I was involved in, so tell me how my "tons of posts," which started with post 1703 (14 posts after your last one, and a full 25 posts after my vote for Wombat), made it hard for you to catch my vote on Wombat.

Simple.....I came back to the thread a while later....which was dominated with your case on Wombat. Not to mention you post in red(ish) font, which helped me to miss your vote when I began getting caught up. Even in bold and more "red", I still missed it on my phone.

Anyway, so I'm kinda pissed right now so if I seem a bit abrasive, that's why.

 

Basically, I said that I can accept the color thing, since I don't know what it looks like on mobile and I didn't say "vote" before "Wombat" so that's a fairly feasible explanation for missing my vote--it might have just blended in.

 

BUT, you need to just stop blaming my number of Wombat-related posts on your missing my vote. The whole reason I "cased" Wombat at all was that someone asked me WHY I VOTED FOR HIM. You said you were interested in seeing my "case" BEFORE it came, which means you posted AFTER my vote and BEFORE my "case," so by that, you should have read the post where I voted already. I didn't vote during or after my marathon of posts. I voted nearly a whole day beforehand.

 

That's why I was even suspicious of you "missing" my vote; because you are using an invalid excuse for missing it. It was not buried at the time of your last check-in prior to my "tons of posts." It was in plain sight, plenty of other people caught it, it was the REASON for my "tons of posts," so yeah.... Looked rather fishy that you would blame it on me.

I'm probably biased since it's me he was voting but I thought the vote was very...off and random

not necessarily like he was trying to build a train on me but more like he was trying to toss his vote out for later so he wouldn't have to join a bandwagon against a teammate or something but he was still voting someone

I also found it kind of strange that he didn't use the convenient excuse of being vote controlled (which is what I thought was going on at first because the vote was so out there)

If he were to falsely claim his vote being controlled, he'd instead be going up against Kae, since the vote control action was not on the list she gave us, and that would be much harder to do than going up against you, because there's much more evidence in favor of Kae than there is in favor of you.

 

So, assuming Maw is scum or cult, which is what you're insinuating you believe if you think he would have used an excuse to cover his vote (because that would have been lying), what possible, logical reason would he have had for lying about something that would draw so much more attention to him?
