Also, revealing results at night is a big no-no imo, which is why when I mod, I never give results until daybreak. I'm not even a big fan of talking during night at all tbh.

I agree with you about this.

Yeah, I'm seeing some things in that scene that other people probably caught; a kill was negated somehow, I think, considering there were two kills the day before and one tonight, and the end of the scene suggests something went awry. Just an observation.

Anyway, yeah, sorry guys.

Hmm, school internet is being mentally impaired. It stopped working for the entirety of yesterday and part of today, social life = wrecked (not that I had one in the first place) soooooooo, after catching up on the posts... Thanks people for discussing about my post aha, I really wasn't sure what to make of it. I think I might ["color=#FF0000"] Vote: Wombat [/color] because his reasons for voting for Keyholder seem a bit, not thought out? Something doesn't sit right with me when I read his posts. Please don't take me as a hypocrite because I know my reason for voting isn't exactly thought out either but at the moment I just think I should make my thoughts known and go with my reasoning until I may think differently.

Just re-reading, and calling forth what we inevitably have to discuss here.

Blackhoof revealed the following at L1, and momentum quickly swung to Panda. Hoof lives. Panda dies. He claimed tracker and said the doc self-protected on N1, not really a stretch for the doc on N1 to do this. So its not really a validation of his reveal... but nobody countered him, so I was okay with it at the time.

Oh dear. Well, if people want to think like that....

Im the tracker. Last night I found out that the doc self-protected. If thus us true, doc sat nothing.

What I don't get is how Hoof, who was one of the first people to notice Meesh's counter claim, and proclaim Nolder is mafia... suddenly doesn't realize that Meesh counter-claimed Doc earlier in the game.

We can't just let Nolder slide. He's not the doctor. If we lynch him, we'll go into N1 with one scum down and much less pointless debate. If you have a scum, you lynch it.

that seals the deal for me.

nolder is mafia.

You would think if Hoof felt he found the Doc self-targeting on N1, and he didn't track Meesh, then he'd come into D2 hell bent on getting Meesh lynched. No?

Instead, he waits until he's at L1, then springs the reveal on us, then watches as Panda gets lynched, then he has this sudden "oh, i just realized something" moment below and asks Meesh if she's claiming doc. Really? After being the first to buy her counter claim?

im surprised as well- things usually dont change that fast around here. im happy though :D

and one other thing..... i realised something. something that makes me feel very foolish indeed.

meesh, are you claiming doctor, or outside knowledge of some kind that means you know who is or isnt the doctor?

It was when Hoof pulled this bullcrap below, that I chose to go back and re-read his stuff.

i do not know if i will survive this night- but i tracked meesh, and received "no action"

she is NOT the doctor

this may mean that nolder was the doctor and she fake-claimed because she knew no-one would be able to prove her wrong since nolder was nearly dead.

He breaks a universal rule... Then he retracts that statement and says he was roleblocked. Really dude?

I'm having a terrible time believing either of them at this point. If Hoof's lying, then there probably isn't a roleblocker, and its feasible to think Meesh could be doc and still alive. Is it possible Hoof makes this play because he's SK? Get's town to lynch our Doc, and assumes a position leading the town? I'm trying to figure out all the possible motivators.

However, if there is a roleblocker and Hoof is legit - then I, for the life of me, cannot think of any reason why they'd leave Meesh alive.

I have no idea where to go with this... anyone have any thoughts? Or is everyone going to go silent now?

Normally, I would agree in just about any other circumstance, but it looks to me as if the Mod somewhat vetted Hoof unintentionally. And I have also asked Meesh to explain herself and ever since I posed my question to her, she'd been non-existent. Don't know what's what at this point.

Meh, I need to go to bed soon; haven't been home that long though--had a pie party tonight with a bunch of other YSAs from my church, that was fun.

I haven't been posting since I didn't want to get into a discussion during Night Phase--your question to me wasn't quite during Night, but it was what, an hour beforehand maybe? Same difference as far as I was concerned.

Well, to answer your question a bit belatedly, Ishy: I knew Nolder wasn't the doc because I am, and I doubt there are two doc roles in this game.

I see what you're saying about the mod somewhat vetting Hoof, but I have to disagree--all the mod really confirmed is that Hoof has a night action. Amega didn't say whether or not Hoof was telling the truth about his role, and the only other information related to the mod's actions is the fact that Hoof was roleblocked and I guess didn't realize it.

I don't want to say Hoof is lying about his role, because he seemed sincere in thinking that the "no action" meant that I didn't use/have an action (although that's silly, if you think about it--night had barely started, I hadn't had much time to turn in a Night Action at that point anyway), which seems like a legit Tracker way of looking at the results. It could be that Hoof didn't actually misread his PM and was lying about what it meant, but I doubt it.

At the moment I feel like Hoof's being sincere despite how hard to swallow the whole thing is, but he's wrong about me; I am the doctor. There are other roles out there that can self-target, although they're rare. Also, there's the possibility that something like a switcher role is out there--I can't remember the name, but I've seen it, where if someone targets one person who was targeted by the switcher, it gets redirected elsewhere--to the other half of the switched pair. So if a cop views one half of the switched pair, he gets the alignment of the other, if a vig shoots one, the other dies, etc....

That's all I can come up with. But whoever he targeted Night 1 isn't the doctor; I know that much.

Vote Meesh.

I was waiting for her to claim doc. She's a LLL.

You should have just claimed an investigative role, then I may not have called you out. But no, you're not the doc. Nice try though.

Meesh is scum, count on it. After we lynch her, it's time to see who may have been in cahoots with her.

I am willing to believe Hoof at this point as well.

Meesh, you should have just been content to aid us in lynching your scummate Nolder, neither you nor he are the doc. Nol down, Meesh to go. Today will be easy.

Right, and if you were telling the truth, why would you be bringing this up NOW? It's been abundantly obvious I was countering Nol's doc claim with one of my own, yet you wait till Day 3 to counter it yourself?

Nice scum play--you sacrifice one scum member to draw out the doc, and then in order to get the doc killed (since it didn't work last night, you must have thought I'd protect Hoof once he revealed) you wait till an opportunity arises and counter claim yourself.

Don't believe a word Ishy says, he is such a liar. He is trying to entrench himself in with the town so that he and his scummates can pick us off easily with no questions asked.

Why would I bring it up before now? Nol false claimed and was lynched with no claim needed from me. On D1. With help from you I might add. Scum gambit clue #1. Kept you from being associated with him.

As for not countering your false claim: you didn't claim, you half-claimed, never made a full claim: scum clue #2.

And I never needed to draw out the doc in your scenario, you made it abudantly clear that you were making a doc claim, even if you only half-revealed, that you were claiming doc. My calling you out was unnecessary as you did that all on your own. You did my work for me in your scenario. Scum clue #3.

3 strikes and you're out. Sorry Meesh, you made your bed. I haven't claimed till now, and I realize I'm making it easier for your scummmates that will survive after today, but I[/b} am the doc and you are a liar. You are NOT[/b} the doc, I am, and you guys have fun in the QT figuring out how to get rid of me. LLL you are.

I know this must seem hard to believe. This has been a stuff-up after a mistake after a brainfart after a stuff-up. Not fun, lol.

I cannot really explain this other than 'I'm an idiot'. That's about it :P

You bring up a good point with the redirection, and given Ishy's attack it could be an elaborate plot to kill you.... but it isn't likely. The odds of me targeting the person they redirected you to are tiny, and why wouldn't they kill you then instead if redirecting before they even knew I had targeted ishy (which I did night 1)

I stick with my vote.

This is a lot of doc claims for one game.

I wish I knew the players here better - I look at Hoof's play and it looks like a clumsy lie, making me a skeptic.

That being said, at this point I'm inclined to believe Ishy, nevermind Hoof, Ishy hasn't been bumbling and stumbling... and if you think about it, would scum would surface 2 of themselves + Nolder just to get at Meesh if she were the doc. I don't think so... I also don't care for Meesh's defense above. She's grasping at straws...redirect? Really?

Vote Meesh

I think that puts her at L1. I'll be around this morning to hear her squirm some more...

Posted

I went to bed, that's why I was quiet heh.

I don't think that puts her at L-1 John (maybe L-2 if Locke's vote is included), but I will wait until the Mod confirms how many she has before I vote since I plan on voting for her too.

I appreciate this sentiment, but putting her at L-1 this early in the Day doesn't make since nothing confirms her as being scum. Hoof could be telling the truth, but still be a LLL. I've seen a mafia track just about as much as I've seen a town tracker... and since we don't have any coroner findings to go off of, all we have is conversation to go off of. Rushing day isn't going to help us at all >.>

Well, Locke's vote was at night, so I was assuming it wasn't counted. I could be wrong in that though.

Here's the player list according to the first post.

1)hoof

2)mesh

3)ishy

4)nolder

5)wombat

6)corrosive stare

7)reyoru

8)song

9)mr. soy boyo

10)john mcclane

11)bg

12)cosmicpanda

13)locke?

14)levity?

15)red

16)keyholder

I see now that I was counting Rey because he hasn't been x'ed out yet. So, withOUT Locke's vote that puts her at L-2, with it at L-1. Therefore, we still need to know how Amega is counting...

For one this doesn't mean she isn't the doc... she could've just not turned in her action yet. Like many people had said, night just began when you got your results. Which ended up you getting roleblocked, but your "findings", which you can't even call it that, are a definite null tell. I can't believe this is the first thing that popped into your mind. Ridiculous much?

Also you claim to have seen the Doc N1 so you "know" who the doctor is and here you now think Nolder could've been the real doc because of your faulty "findings". I think you're the one who is grasping at straws here.
