It was not made clear in my rules, and I know this is not a typical rule here at DM. You will be spared.

 

So its clear to everyone, any form of reveal - real or fake, will be counted. If I didn't count fake reveals, it would have an adverse impact on game play.

Understood... I think it was mainly because we immediately knew it was fake from his death that I was confused.

I think it would be best to just list them, and if it turns out false after death, you just delete it, or put "false" behind it. But I'm not the mod, of course.

Really?? Was it really necessary to come right out and state it? I thought it was obvious to anyone that self preservation was at least a factor in the vote, so obvious that it didn't need saying. Who would act to preserve their game in the situation I was in? I acted in the only manner available to me at the time, but it just so happened that Bg made it a little easier by actually enabling some of us to make case against him and not just vote blindly to save myself. It was just two parts of the whole and I didn't think it necessary to spell out the obvious part. FoS at Wom for making a big deal over something that didn't even need stating.

Vote Ley because she totally ignored my vote on Kiv and Kiv's response other than to say I don't like to be called Sak. Really? That was your only comment? And she voted Ishy instead, who I'm getting a town feel off of. So unless/until I see someone more likely to be scum, I'm good with Ley.

And only scum will act in a self-preservation fashion? Town never acts to preserve their game and defend themselves? So the only time you should defend yourself is if your mafia....that makes no sense at all.

i did notice that even though kivam voted against you. i still noticed that the moment sakeae voted kivam you jump on and voted against her. \

 

i also noticed that wombat was very iffy on kivams reveal and he gave me a good feel.

In an unrelated note, I agree with BG that Wombat didn't pick up on the "I know you are vanilla" comment and kept going. Although a 1-1 trade is hardly worth it for the mafia, unless the player is a doc or somesuch

Fortunately, after work beers dragged on a bit longer than I expected... therefore, deadline is now. I'm counting Wombat's vote... besides, I don't want to do the killing, as previously stated. I will say, I am pretty underwhelmed that I've now had to bail you guys out from 3 modkills.... its internet mafia folks, live by the sword, sheesh.

I don't know how to explain this but... Dave is... Dave is dead.

 

We were moving from the fifth level research bay to the stairwell to move down to level four. The horde somehow got between us and the stairs, and the fires had spread so much we couldn't turn back. The horde grabbed Dave first, he immediate dropped his recorder, which I grabbed... and tore into the pile of creatures with the rusty old blade from the paper cutter on level six.

 

They were without mercy... they clawed and bit at him, and it was all he could do to swing the blade through them... blood... blood was everywhere... and he occupied them long enough to let us get past them, and into the stairs going down to 4.

 

When I looked back the big silverback was standing over him... it drove its fists down into his chest, you could hear the air leaving his lungs... when it bore down on him with its giant fangs, it looked like it was going to bit off the top of Dave's head... and he shoved the rust blade right up into and through the roof of its mouth... it looked like it ripped right through the top of its skull... it lumped over on top of him, dead... but soon after the rest of the horde moved in... he had no blade left to defend himself... and they tore him to pieces...

 

It was awful.
