I can think of several ways that Ithi could know that Lily is lying. The argument that Berf/Kill wasn´t active is not valid because Kill joined the game before the death scene.

Well, apparently my kill on Wombat missed. I don't think that means it got redirected, but I am happy with my vote on him until he explains.

 

I have no more kills.

 

You tried to kill Wombat. How can you be sure that it wasn´t redirected? Did you only have a one shot ability? Jack said that all now is vanilla but killers can still use their abilities.

 

I have just gotten up from bed so I will wait until I´m fully awake (and hopefully get some answers) to place my vote.

 

I was told my kill went to Wombat. I just missed. Not sure how exactly...

I had two kills. I can't kill anymore.

Sounds like Lily redirected your Wombat kill maybe Ed. Maybe that's what killed Red. Its unlikely the Mafia team would be able to do two NKs themself.

Also, nah, I don't think it was redirected, because I was told my kill went to Wombat, but it just failed.

Watching Ithi vs. Lily very carefully. I thought Lily was innocent because of her Paran claim but since Jack said that mafia have been given characters to claim, I am less sure.

Ok - I have not heard back but I'm going to go ahead anyway - because logically it makes no difference. The Mafia know who are Town anyway - so me doing this is not going to put anyone at risk. And as all special powers have been lost - no-one can do anything weird. Its just NK versus Lynch I think till the end of the game.

 

So I will tell you a story of how this game should have been for me. I haven't played a game in a while cos they freak me out, but Jack has been teaching me the ways of the Mafia and I said I would play his game. My very good friend Berf also agreed to play. Jack loves his irony and I was very happy to see that I had been paired in a mason team with berf, until I remembered just how bloody lazy he has been on DM recently.

 

Typically he never showed - well apart from one 'I'm so rubbish I've had a busy weekend' post and then he vanished. Well off of DM and the QT that is. When Enquiring Minds asked him where the HELL have you got to, we are supposed to be playing Mafia, the respnse was erm ... Busy. I suggested that if he really wasn't bothered I would ask Jack to get in a replacement instead. The epic crapness that is Berf apologised to me profusely for letting me down so badly, but agreed that this would probably be the best course of action. Since he got his RL back on track he's been like bloody smoke to pin down.

 

So I let Jack know via the QT on Friday and he sent Kill a PM, but Kill was at lots of parties over the weekend, so didn't get the message till last night. He finally came on board just as night ended as you know.

 

So that is how I know for sure that Lily could not be more of a liar and she must be kicking herself for picking Berf as her fake re-direct claim thingy. Cos he has been nowhere near the game, or our QT thread. And Kill did nothing either cos we are both just Vanilla.

 

We are Shadowthrone and the Rope. We are always linked together.

Wow, I have posted one post, and this is what happens :D Well as you might have guessed (or at least should have!), me and Ithi form a Mason team, that's why she knows I couldn't have killed anyone. Maybe it's coincidence, but I believe more in the other option (read: that Lily is a scum). I can give you my character's name, but I have no idea what he is in these books, nor should it matter because as you've stated, the mafia was given fake characters.
