I already explained how short-sighted her "gotcha" cases were on both Pac and CTM. I hate those guys like Oprah hates celery, but her case on each of them was crapola.

 

Also Red's vote on Smash didn't create the momentum - he was already catching heat for slips similar to Red's, the only momentum for Smash seemed to come from the Lannister family purse.

With zero survivor tells thus far, I'm going to bet all the fun toys I just bought with Lannister money that you are Lannsiter as well.

!!!! I missed an entire day! Sorry guys; I was doing a read-through last night and DM went down on me (and not in a good way) before I was caught up, and this is the first chance I got to get back on. Gonna go back and re-read.

Hey, fair enough, I deserve that one. I weighed the pros and cons of posting right away and went for apologetic. This is far, far higher in the post count than I recall. But I'm choosing to see this as me being behind the times in mafia fashion.

 

It's not you, it's me, is what I'm saying. =P I mean that a as a general statement, not just for Roy Rogers here.

 

And that will be the last complaint about post counts, I swear. And no requests for cliff-notes, the dude promises.

 

It's at a point now where anything I say can and most likely will be held against me, though. I'm not being coy, but throwing out suspicions right now is more likely to get me killed than to push any agenda of my own.

 

I see a lot of pushing for cult-hunting, but I'm not so sure enough new info has been passed out to let us do that in any effective way.

Not really. DM generally is nowhere near the post count of this game (see the other games on this board -- this is already the game with the 5th highest post count, I think).

K. I'm caught up. That does not, however, mean that I read every word. Things I learned:

 

1) Only 2 people dead? More people need to start dying. When pretty much everyone in this game posts like Bleedin Green (I.E. tl;dr), that's a problem.

 

2) I saw around 40 pages slats FOS'ed me for being inactive. Understandable. Speaking of which, just how many posts do YOU have slats? 20 maybe? 14.

 

3) The Lannisters are terrible at this game, apparently.

 

4) The Ape won't shut up. What else is new?

 

5) Favorites for cult: Pac, Crusher, Lanth, Sharrow

 

 

I'm down to lynch Sharrow next day phase.

I have the first book on my kitchen table. It's really enjoying it. Watched the HBO series, though.

 

As for the Lannisters' NK, we'll know soon enough. Doggin' promises to post all NK attempts in his scenes. If it's down one from yesterday, the Lannisters are likely to be seriously hurting.

 

I welcome this night phase at this time. I'm working day shifts and I'm exhausted/miserable. I can never sleep when I have my alarm clock set for the morning. I'm hoping to pass out early tonight. No game distractions oughta help a little bit.

As mentioned earlier, I got quiet because I was asked to do some real work for the first time in weeks, so I figured that ought to be the priority. It's not like I haven't made sure to make my feelings on all of the outstanding points crystal clear when I had the chance. Besides, any point I was catching up during the day all I saw was a lot of talking in circles, a couple of additional desperate attempts by Red to save her own hide, and essentially waiting for people to finish off her lynch. Her lynch worked out exactly as many of us had figured, so what more is there really to say?

I only watched the first HBO season to prep for this. That said, I think it's now obvious that Red was a Swordmaster aka kill ability since Jaime was exactly that in the series...

I don't know enough to say which factions have how many kills or when- there is always a card up someone's sleeve. What I do see is that if Jaime was the expert swordsman who did his own dirty work- to the point of trapping and fighting Stark in a back ally and breaking off the engagement because someone else struck him, why would there be a need to assume that someone else had their night kill? I think she said someone else was it to protect herself. She gave a lot of info, and I believe a bit of it was true blue screw up while she tried to plan out others. Remember her defensiveness when she accidentally slipped about the role's title to Ape?

I have a feeling that by the end Red was more or less spewing everything. Not totally sure her family mates are so happy with her right now; or the Starks either really, since I am gonna bank on their teams being fairly symmetrical. I will need to reread all of her pre-death comments. But probably not tonight

I got the same impression about Red. Don't know if it was a "save me for the love of god" thing, or if too much pressure (not enough money? or accepted bribes) just killed her.

 

PS I would assume the houses are fairly symmetrical due to game balance. If one has a card another doesn't have, be assured the latter has a card somewhere too. This goes for the cult, the houses, the survivors.
