Well, not much left to say Lee, my vote stays where it is, I haven't believed a word Ameg said after his reveal. I don't know that I believe you either at this point, but I'd rather get the scum I can now than try to start a new lynch on someone that it looks like at least some people believe. And with Ameg only one vote away, unless someone really does something to change my mind, I'm staying right where I am. But really y'all, c'mon and play....

I really don't like Lee's wall-o-text (simply because it was all quotes and not much opinion) but I re-read through Amega's CC, and I really don't like the post "whatever, I'm the healer." It just seemed off. I think I took it as sarcasm at first because of the pressure for the reveal, but then trying to say that you "forgot" you were the healer later. Yeah...I'm not buying it. That's a BIG thing to forget and Day 1 and 2 certainly should have given enough reminders.

 

Light, I hope this doesn't backfire on me... and if it does, Leelou's up.

Determined to get to the bottom of the mystery of the doctors, the debate rages between proponents of Leelou's claim and Amega's claim. In the end, though, it is decided that only one claimant can be believed. Thus, Amegakure found himself being led behind the woodshed by Kate, who kept muttering about "puttin' down Ol' Yeller," whatever that meant.

 

When she returned, she was holding a stethoscope and a syringe.

 

"So... nobody believed you, eh?" the Lord Mod muttered as he surveyed the sad form of Amega's spirit, wavering in impotent rage.

 

"Nobody! Not a single one! Well, maybe a couple. Possibly one or two. Hell if I know. I'm a doctor, not a mind reader."

 

Shaking his head, the Lord Mod replied, "Poor 'Star Trek' references aside, I think you're giving them too much credit. They're a paranoid lot, leaping at anything that comes up, sometimes violently."

 

Sarcastically, Amega responded, "Oh, and whose fault is that, I wonder."

 

Beside the Great White Throne, the angel covered his ears as a boom of thunder echoed through the throne room, accompanied by a girlish squeal. The charred, blackened spirit of Amega glared at the Lord Mod. "Was that really necessary?"

 

Giggling, the Lord Mod responded, "No, but it was funny."

 

Amegakure, Healer, has been lynched.

 

It is now Night. Night ends Saturday, 20 August at 1 pm Central.

Amega, did you really forget you were the healer or just said that as an excuse for not CCing earlier? That was really what put it over the top for me. :/

 

When this night phase is up, I think Leelou is a more-than-safe lynch. In fact, I think this next day phase has potential to be the shortest jury deliberation ever.

I am a healer, but no matter what I say will change your minds. I will gladly vote myself tomorrow as soon as day breaks. Jack is still looking scummy and JLM is really inactive. CS I always find scummy, so it's hard for me to say. Kate is pinging me a bit, but then again I don't believe I've ever played with her.

 

Now that I'm thinking about it, since there were two docs, maybe there is no finder and Christine is lying?

Also, not viewing BG is acceptable, I think. Telling the maffia she would view BG then view him isn't, however.

Csarmi, I don't know if Jack and I have the same reasons, but I think it was your hard push for the Amega lynch that makes you seem likely for mafia. So, for that reason, you are pinging on the radar.

 

However, Lee is first on my list. I might expect two healers in an advanced game, but a basic one? I don't think I'm buying it.

 

Some of you DM mafia vets... have you ever seen this happen in a Basic game?
