That is a pretty strong reaction to the two votes on you, one of which was not even explained in the slightest.

That does read strong.

@Sakaea: throughout the game so far you've questioned Vam, mentioning several times that something was fishy about him, or that he's trying too hard. Then, when you vote, you say it's for consolidation?

Posted

On another note, where is everybody?

There's a decent number of players -- Amadine, Krak, Lessa, Piano, Christine -- who I don't remember doing much of anything recently. It would be nice to get some discussion going before the deadline.

Sorry I haven't been around much. I've been busy. I'll do a reread again but before I do, one question why the votes without reasons?

Because thinking someone is fishy and actually voting for him are two different things. If someone had said something I found uber scummy, I would have voted for that person, and waited to see what Vam said as the game went into day 2. Since he looked like he was going to be lynched, I voted for him.

Krak, I'm female.

Sakaea's the only one who really jumped out at me.

@ Red: I had to think about what Ameg had said. Just him saying that didn't bother me that much, but when Ishy and then Hybrid jumped on the idea and ran with it, it seemed like a scum plan. Hence, scum-tastic.

This was what originally pinged me. I don't really buy this: if it was Ishy's and my votes that made you think of this as a scum plan, why vote for amegakure?

I voted for Amega because he started it, and you two ran with it.

I realize I haven't posted much recently, sorry everyone. I'm here tho.

Since Red is basically lynched, I'm not gonna add my vote, cus I think her claim is legit. Which is unfortunate, but that's day 1 for you.

Reads as distancing, to me. Not so much the fact that you didn't vote, but that you threw in the "I think her claim is legit" with no explanation.

It was just a gut feeling. There was no explanation.

Vam posting right after I did and saying basically the same thing I did is weird. His whole "she will flip town" makes it sound like he knows for sure.

I said what I did because I'm inclined to believe Red's claim of bodygaurd. That doesn't seem like a role scum would claim to try to get out of a lynch.

WIFOM.

Also, calling suspicion on Vambram when he did roughly the same thing as you. (To be fair, he did it to a greater extent than you, so major FOS on him)

Like you said, he did it to a greater extent, yet I still am getting FOS'd for it. I said what I thought first, and he said the same as I did, but he re-worded it.

If there is a Beloved, which I'm inclined to think there is, and they want to reveal, I bet the doc would protect them at night. So it's not automatically setting them up to be killed. And according to the mafia wiki I looked it up on, the whole skipping-day-phase thing only happens when they are lynched, not NK'd.

The mafiascum wiki (I don't know of any other mafia wikis) mentions that this is a variation of the role, but the original role triggers from any death.

The plan proposed here is pretty anti-town. It opens up the doc. And for all that you dislike leaving the Beloved around until end game, that's exactly what will happen if the doc protects her.

Color is my response. Bolding mine. Think about what I bolded. Think about that very hard.

Unvote

I don't like killuliu's over-reaction either, but I'm going to hold off on voting him until I've had a chance to consider all the possibilities.

I've been super busy. I'm lurking-ish until things calm down with work. If anything I feel is important comes to mind I'll post

I know, but as I have limited time, and access only by using cellphone, I have to write short and clear messages (thus seeming overreacting). Still my vote stays, because no-one has pointed out that my reasons for it (me remembering that hybrid pushed for Vam lynch) are invalid (it's possible that I remember incorrectly).

Reason being that I don't want to quick bandwagon him when he hasn't acted super scummy, but I don't know if there are any better options.

I agree with those but there are only 2 votes on him so far (maybe even 1)

and I think some pressure is needed atleast'

for that reason I will vote Kill

Ill be watching and unvote if I see a bandwagon before it has a good reason

VOTE COUNT

kill (3): wombat, ishy, player

Hybrid (2): Jack, kill

Sakaea (1): krak

With 13 alive it takes 7 to lynch. Deadline is Thursday (tomorrow) 7 AM EST.

Just letting you all know i am here reading, but i have nothing to add at the moment.

Honestly, I forgot Ama was playing. She hasn't posted in 6 days. FOS at her for being inactive.

Unvote.

I know I said that Kill's reaction to the death scene pinged me, but so close to the deadline I just can't see lynching him for that and that alone. If anyone has more info or a more compelling case on someone else I'll take it into account, but right now Sak and Hybrid seem the scummiest imo, but not enough for a vote. So I'll reread (again), but it looks like we're staring a random kill in the face right now.

Posted

So you say we're staring a random in the face, which we are, so you unvote, and kill had the most votes. Yeah, that makes a whole lot of sense. That just shot you way up on my radar.

I won't be online for the DL, so I am going to VOTE KILL. He has seemed suspicious to me this day phase, and we need to consolidate on someone. I hope we achieve a lynch. I will try to check in one more time tonight.

Posted

Getting fairly close to the deadline.

In the hopes of it not going random and also because the response to the two votes on him still reads pretty forced no matter his reasoning, vote kill.

Posted

Ok, no one had anything else to say, but it would be definitely be better to not have a random kill, but I tried....

Vote Kill.[/b}

I still don't see lynching him because of the reaction, but I get that it's better to have a controlled consolidation vote than a random kill. But I still don't think he's scum.
