Some of you scream in shock, some of you gasp. But all of you are well trained, and fall into a defensive position.

"KEEP HIM COVERED!" Lily holds the cross out as if she herself was a diety, ready to strike forth with lightning to cleanse the blight of this creature. But she can only hold him at bay.

You, however, have an automatic weapon loaded with silver bullets, and as Lily has him cornered, and you have a score to settle...

The machine gun is loud, causing everybody to jump. But it does it's deadly work very well, and rips the vampire into pieces.

VERBAL, VAMPIRE, IS DEAD.

He's been stoic the whole time. Almost gentlemanly, and now is no exception. He steps forward and offers his naked arm.

You don't even hesitate. You press the silver cross into his arm, and he winces. You look into his eyes...

And he looks into your eyes right back.

 

'Go easy with that thing, will you?"

 

You pull it away sheepishly, and apologize for the red mark you left on his arm. "Guess I got a little excited there. Sorry."

 

He smiles, 'It's fine. Let's just keep going."

Guns level, and one among you crosses your fingers for your team mate.

The cross is quickly placed on her skin, and nothing.

Why does Lily get to have all the fun. I say favoritism. She gets the leather outfit and is a goddess. *pouts* I can be bad a@@ too. I did have a good teacher as far as she is my sister.

The group turns to find JLM. At some point, she got pushed back, so that now she is behind the group, almost in a corner. The light barely reaches there.

"C'mon. You of all people know we need to hurry."

She hesitates.

'There's something you don't know. I need you to listen to me, and trust me on this..."

MIN flicks her flashlight on, and shines over her...

O.O I did not see that one coming.

The gunfire is not nearly as shocking this time, as her words stick in your head.

Bullets tear hers apart.

Her body slumps down into the corner, but her words echo in your thoughts.

"You're being deceived and you don't even realize it."

Even that thought is pushed aside though, as the red lights turn off, replaced by normal light, and the doors to the room slide open.
