in light of the deadline, i feel we must suspend usual day one foolishness and get on with the serious business of finding the vampires, but we cannot do that unless we have information, and to get information we need time, and time is not a luxury we have right now.

 

so what to do? we cannot wait, and we cannot progress.... i shall place my vote on Tina based on her vote-hopping. as scum, i have grasped straws to place a vote and look as if i am contributing and voted the wrong person, and had to suddenly switch back. just like she is.

Scum doesn't need to grasp at straws on D1. The premise of what he's insinuating here reeks... I am hoping the players here are DM are better than he is suggesting by implying a scum player would actually jump out like this on D1.

 

 

You have a point about Tina's vote hopping, hoof but then you came right back and tied the vote at three again, even after saying we are short of time, thats reeks of a team play, but mafia or town idk yet. With so few players checked in I wonder if we have a chance at a majority unless absolutely all of us pick one candidate.

 

 

Just going to point out that Tina seems to have meant to vote for Lily, not Min. That isn't vote hopping, that's just called being tired.

 

 

That being said, Hoof's post that JM pointed out seems rather scummy. But. Hoof has often proven to sound scummy but to be town. So, I am not jumping to any conclusions on that yet.

from what I read just now (hi everyone btw! just got here and read up) it sounds to me like we have at least three different factions if not more

if that's true then there's not really one "scum" team we need to be watching out for so I don't know what you mean about scum grasping at straws on d1

Good, now that we know the alignment of JLM, Hoof, keyholder and a couple other people that did react to my case and consecutive votes on scum, it gives better context for looking at that early train. Some key quotes, above, you see Christine admit Hoof looks scummy, to distance herself, but then include a disclaimer for why she won't vote him - because as she says he acts scummy as town.

 

Then Nolder joins the game, and immediately begins and argument with who? Me. I'm not trying to be self-centered but one of the best ways to knock a person who has just voted 2 scum members in a row on the first 2 pages of the game... is to suck them into a long drawn out argument of who said what. Which he has done with me now twice.

 

I'm content voting either of the two of them. If the Blind game wasn't enough reason why, then I thought this might help. I won't spend any more time casing these two. They've got to go.

When a scum player makes a post like this, it usually means one of the two people they listed is scum and being cased hard. In one post she distances herself from the mess, AND tries to set it up where if I get Nolder lynched, she can come after me next.

Alright, on re-read, I'm sticking to my guns with Christine and Nolder, both have maneuvered around cases on scum, and pinged me enough to warrant a lynch.

 

From the re-read I just did. Song is someone else that sticks out to me a bit, but that is a gut feeling.

 

As scummy as Jack can be, his exchange with Nolder and Blackhoof have me feeling pretty good about him. Which makes me really question Lily, as I said yesterday the other side of that debate between Lily and Jack is that if Jack is telling the truth, it would be worth it for one of the vampires to go all out to get him lynched. Lily might have been the one who stuck her neck out trying to eliminate the Werewolf CL, if that is what Jack is.

 

Now my dilemma... Lily is one of my teammates. As soon as she pinged me, I approached my other teammate Conquest with a plan to vet myself and Lily, and then eventually Conquest, using our roles. Conquest agreed. I told Lily about it. Asked Lily in thread if she was scum, she said "No."

 

Then they went dark. I sent Conquest a PM and I know he read it last night, but he won't respond. In our Moscow Team QT, neither of them would respond to me - until today Lily did, right after I made the post above about my teammates not talking to me.

 

I may have gotten all my good reads for scum out of my system, and this may be straight paranoia... but... I am thinking Lily was converted early in the game, she's a big-timer here at DM and a smart conversion choice, and when I hatched the plan to vet her, she/scum had no choice but to convert Conquest too.

As for Lily, she is a big target. She is really good at mafia, and having her on your team is always a bonus. A big target like her, I don't think the Scum would actually go after her. It would be too obvious.

 

But, her being quiet on the QT? Very weird.

 

 

You say Conquest hasn't posted still? Anyone else have team mates that have quit posting on the QT? Maybe we can find a trend here.

I said my teammates went dark - as in both of you. I had a plan in place to clear all three of us, and you both paid lip service to it... and it was never executed. That is what I mean by "went dark". I wasn't using your health issues as part of my case, I am sensitive to what you've got going on.

First of all, my case on you goes back to your early D1 reaction to my case on Blackhoof. It had nothing to do with your post frequency, it had everything to do with your play - as I stated repeatedly while casing you. I never said anything about your post frequency.

 

As for Lily, I am well-aware she has legit health/anxiety problems. I considered this heavily before bringing this up... that said, I noticed the things I brought up in my case/post about her BEFORE he said anything about her anxiety, AND nothing about my case on her was about posting frequency in the game thread. When I said "went dark" all I was referring to was how Conquest has stopped responding to me, and how Lily wasn't too keen on my plan to vet us both.

 

Why don't you give the whole "hateful" bit a rest. Its tiresome. I know how I play the game, but I've not stepped over any boundaries.

I put forth cases on two people that have mentioned RL stuff, and now when they are defending, they lean on the RL issues they brought up as grounds for dismissal of my case... when my case was not built upon any variable influenced by their RL.

I wasn't? That must have been last night when I was out of it. I am. I think it's an excellent idea. I hate mistrust between teammates.

 

 

I think I say this every game but I hate that I have mental health issues that sometimes interfere with my ability to play. Some of you have jobs and other things that do, so I try to just see it like that, but it still really bugs me. Just see me as "at work" last night, and I'm back today.
