Charis and Red had a big thing back and forth. Someone pointed out the Kivam Gambit. I just really feel suspicious of Red.

 

 

so in your last post you say all this time you were agsint me & charis being on a gambit right? yet before now you seem pretty sold that Charis and i have been pulling a gambit.

 

 

then we bring up the Kivam Gambit. this was brought up on Day 2, if memory serves me right, Chrissy i believe it was you who asked for clarification on what the Kivam Gambit was. i'll even go back and dig up the convo if i can get it in before i'm lynched)

 

Charis, ironically, was the one to clarify what the Kivam Gambit was. this is when i noticed Jack running witht he idea that Charis and I were pullign a gambit.

 

 

 

seeing as Charis has flipped scum, i can certaintly see the benefit as a scum team for you guys to set up this type of convo which furthers my suspicion. it's a subtle team work that wouldn't really be called to attention and the type of maunuvering i'd expect from scum

Kill is also pinging my radar for the lurkish behavior; i can't say i remember her being on Charis's vote either, but shes been on every townie lynch so far. also, heres the list of those who've claimed to be silenced (as best as i can remember, if someone knows better plese revise the list) i'm thinking that the scum have silenced one of their own for the same reasons Chris tried to claim her own power had been used on her Day 4

And I've admitted it, I've been sadly inactive in this game, because I've been really busy, and have had a few periods where I haven't been able to access the computer nearly at all, and I'm sorry for that.

Jack - i'm not gonna get into a peeing contest with you about Moon, everyone had a hand in catching Moon, not just myself or you. that your wanting so bad for peopeel to pat you on the back for this and Charis smells like distancing to me, like your tryign to use the fact you pushed for thier lynch to help clear yourself.

 

the only reason i say my antics helped catch Moon is because the main quote used agaisnt her was stated as a defesnes for Charis when i was pressuring Charis hard during N1, the whole "Red is scum if Charis is left alive" bit. and i only say this because Womby seems to think my play style is hurting rather than helping, not as a way to clear myself. because i'm happy with being lynched.

 

 

BG - i dunno about it clearing Jack. he could have been punished in thebackgroudn by having his role removed or something rather han being MKd if he was scum and did it to try and help clear himself. as i said, it's too much WIFOM surrounding it to really include it in a case for or agaisnt him.

 

 

 

acutally, i take it back about Chrissy being the one to play off Charis withthe Kivam Gambit. heres the entire convo surrounding it from Day 2.

 

i still suspect Chrissy for this, given her last statements concerning the gambit though and that Charis directly asks Chrissy if she understands it. it's like Charis was wanting a reason to explain it. given that Chairs is scum, we might be able to narrow the list by examining how people reacted to the gambit.

 

 

Charis and Red could both be mafia if this was some kind of gambit between them. Not saying I think it is, but a couple people now have said they can't both be mafia, and that's not true.

 

 

I also agree with Alanna and Csarmi about Red and Charis possibly being on the same scum team. In the last game I played as Mafia me and my teammate went back and forth for most of the game, so ruling out that they couldn't possibly be on a team is a mistake IMO.

 

 

Finally I agree with Red on something! We're definitely not on the same team. However, yes - anyone who is familiar with the infamous "Kivam Gambit" (Christine, are you familiar?) would know that anything is possible in mafia. In this case, however, I believe BG explained it best.

 

 

Yes Red and Charis's accusations of each other were distracting, but they both read more like disgruntled townies trying to 'prove' themselves to the group than teammates in a gambit, or even mafia trying to case someone. Not that they couldn't be either of those, just don't feel it to me.

Ok, a Kivam Gambit. This was classic. In some mafia game (I dont know because I didnt play in it), Kivam and Talya were both scum. They went back and forth on the threads hacking away at each other (verbally) in a vicious manner until everyone was convinced that Kivam was mafia and Talya was Town. They lynched Kivam, he flipped scum and of course, Talya was safe for the rest of the game. This ended up being a ploy that they both cooked up in order that the scum would win through Kivam's sacrifice. I believe it worked. Did anyone play in that game? Krak may have. I would've loved to have seen it.

 

 

Thank´s Charis for explaining the Kivam gambit. I had guessed what it was but it was nice that someone explained it to us who haven´t been here for ages. (If there is a link to that game somewhere I would love to read it.)

There's so much going on here! It looks like the hammer has been reached on Red - Jack you unvoting and revoting for Red after Wombat hammered her was a waste of time. The vote count stops at the hammer.

 

The coronor's report on Red will hopefully shed some interesting light on those who have been interacting with her, so i guess we wait for Krak and see.

Dennis was digging in his fields when they came for him; a crowd of men and women looking to end another man's life. As they got closer, Dennis decided to do the honorable thing and give himself up. Ok guys, a few housekeeping issues.

 

As you guys may or may not know, this is my first mod job and I hope everyone is having a fun game. I'm trying to deal fairly with all requests and concerns and trying not to screw up too much.

 

 

Killilui has requested that I do certain...things...with the original post. So, Kil, I have done what you asked and if you don't mind, please check and see if that's what you were talking about. If not, lemme know what to change.

 

 

Also, Red made a comment that she was "tired of playing with no deadlines". Now, whenever I play, I often think the mods are too quick with their deadlines and it can mess with the flow of the game. However, this is your game, not mine, so I put this forth:

 

I WANT EVERYONE TO VOTE ON WHETHER I SHOULD PUT FORTH SOLID DEADLINES AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH DAY/NIGHT, OR IF I SHOULD CONTINUE TO PLAY IT BY EAR AND POST DEADLINES WHENEVER THE GAME IS MOVING TOO SLOWLY.
