In ToM, do you mean? You have a point there, but whenever Slayer joins the party they get quite interesting, don't you think?

i agree perrin started out a good one to read then in the middle of the series i found my self to skip over him quite alot the last few books though he has had better developement i belive. i always had a feeling also he would be the one to mak esome type of new power made weapon he is a blacksmith after all

what's the point? it feels to me like perrin is stronger than egwene in TAR anyways and the wise ones seem to feel egwene is as good as they are.

So Perrin wouldn't gain anything. Besides, their methods of control is different. It's two schools of thought.

My favorite wolf dream sequence was when Perrin deflected the balefire like it was nothing, then made the roof collapse on the Black Ajah who had weaved it. Partly, because he made Egwene look pathetic and incompitent.

Yeah, that passage was great.

I thought it was stupid (not the writing, the characters). You've seen each other there occasionally, and you finally meet face to face. Sure, you were kind'a busy at the time, but must you instinctively assume you're the only one who knows anything about this place, and make a contest out of immobilizing each other? And why, for the love of god, didn't you keep your word to meet afterwards and discuss what you know of that place? Not to mention Perrin could've done with some help in the real world, and Egwene has Traveling. One more point. Egwene had several channelers with her. One less wouldn't have made such a difference. Don't you think Perrin could've used one? Perhaps to Heal him? Or to kill Isam in a way he wouldn't expect (you can kill someone with the OP in a way that he wouldn't see coming, after all. If it'd be a total surprise, he wouldn't be able to control the Dream to foil the attempt)?

I mean, by god!! You only have one more book left. Don't you guys think it might be a good idea to start TALKING with each other?!?

Ha ha. Well put. I felt that way when Mat snuck into Perrin's camp with the bagged badger. (I haven't read past that point just yet, so I don't know what happens). I was dissapointed that Mat didn't say something like, "Hey, nice army you got here. But my army could kick your army's arse." I always feel like the three amigos don't get enough recognition for there badasseries from each other. It's like each of them is oblivious to the awesome changes the other two have undergone.
