No he didn't visit nae. He was one of four people who visited someone else. I just decided to start with him cuz he's been one of the quieter ones.

I kind of would like to wait and see more results from last night, I'm withholding my thoughts and vote until more people check in.

Aaaaaaaaaand that answers the Fain question. I would personally like to hear from Mynd, Aemon, and Red. Aemon and Red for why we shouldn't be refocusing on them today, and Mynd because I'm still a bit latched onto that particular bone.

Because the town is very torn and it gives the mafia a potential opportunity to get a no-lynch or a lynch on an innocent. When we have no new information we shouldn't continue to go around in the same circle, it was getting us nowhere. When we have more/something substantial to go on, then we can revisit the subject.

 

WHOA! Hold the horses here, friends and fairmaidens! Everything Adella just said makes perfect sense ASSUMING that Red and/or Aemon are innocent. If either one is mafia, then her entire point becomes as dull as Vogon Poetry. For Adella to KNOW for FACT who is innocent, she would have to be mafia.

 

Songs has reason to stick her pretty little neck out to vote Kwom so quickly and then to follow it with "what were ye about, sonny jim?" or the like. Methinks she has good reason to lynch said Kwommish and his weak reaction seems to be that of a criminal who knows he's already caught. Should he be innocent, I would have expected a more defensive stance from even the most laid back two rivers weed puffers.

 

We shall not forget the fun that Red and friends had earlier in this game.

 

And Adella, you poke me in the wrong spot.....chide me for my earlier inactivity, but to question my sudden ZEST for the game is barking at the moon!

Joking aside, a conversation between the two claimants to the Dragon Reborn status would be enlightening. There's also been some loud shouting from Red as to the impossibility of your claim. Any new arguments would be nice. That applies to Red, too. If Red is lying, then it points to her being scum. However, the real issue is you, as a lie can mean that you're either scum or a strategically misinformed townie. As has been rehashed numerous times in thread, if you're a townie and a planted False Dragon (á la Logain), it is not necessarily true that you know you're not the real Dragon. I would also like a reaction to David's support of your claim.

 

For the sake of those reading into this now and later, this is not an accusation of scum for Aemon. This is curiosity and an interest in seeing arguments in new words.

 

As for Red, I would also love to see arguments as to why Aemon cannot be the Dragon Reborn. Right now, the best evidence we have for your claim is David's support of Aemon's claim, which can be interpreted as either scummy support or a ploy to take down a potential real Dragon if he was busted. The ambiguity makes this argument nearly moot. Is there anything more that you can add after last night in order to support your claims?

 

And finally, the sexy, sexy, sexy Mynd... for the sake of the inevitable rereads, is your claim a true claim or a joke? If your claim is legitimate, why should we believe your claim over Aemon's? Why choose to reveal right away on Day 2? Would you like a drink sometime?

I don't see how she would, Quibby. She's already stated everything (multiple times) and any possible chance she might have had at learning new information is kinda null since she had no NA or item. And for now, I believe Red. (no mystic info, I just buy what she's saying) That said, I'm willing to admit a likely possibility of Aemon being Logain.

 

Blackhoof, Alanna, and BG are all high on my list, though I need to reread some to solidify my opinions.

Well, I've already been open about the fact that I believe them for now, from what we have to go off of at the moment. Don't make it seem that I suggested we forget it, because you know that isn't the case, I think we just need more information so we can stop talking ourselves in circles. Maybe something happened over night that they have information on and will share it, but other than that we have nothing more to go off of.

And your sudden zest is more like how you normally play, but your lack of it before today is what makes it suspicious.

I had new thoughts duh! For instance, Song doesn't seem to be 100% sure that Kwom is scum, just that he visited someone in the night and she is applying pressure (which is just what I would have done). Thus my waiting and watching. Way to force my hand with sharing my thoughts!

Well I assume since we only had one nk, that possibly one of the four was a kill and one might be a save. I'm just speculating here of course, since I don't know anyones actual actions, but 4 seems a huge number for one target. Not all of them would be good IMO.

I agree with this post 100% and that was a good target, Song. I am not averse to putting pressure on a couple of them to see what comes out. Turns out that my target last night walks in the light.

Quibs, my good man (and I use the term loosely), I am simply testing the waters to see what would happen if I said those words. The chances of me indeed being the true Dragon Reborn are the same as an Ogier being Captain of the Guard. As of yet, I have not received any word from the Mod who turns the wheel, so I guess my words were in vein.

Ok, so just got caught up on all the action. So it seems that we have one NK, and from what the experienced players say it is lower then it should be (possible save being one such option). Not only did we get a chosen on day 1 but now we get a SK that is Padan Fain! Looks like its going well for us so far. <fingers crossed> So it seems we already have some finger pointing at Khom, concerns still on Red and Aemon to an extent. I am going to read through the last 5-7 pages to see if I can pick anything out from what was said recently before and after night. Checking in for now and withholding judgment until more people check in.

Alright, thoughts post re-read skim.

 

David started out by bandwagoning Vambram. Then he supported Trench's rhyming post, however he later tried to deflect attention off of Song and on to Trench. Other things he did, I can't quite remember right now as other things started to pique my interest.

 

After Red revealed about knowing Aemon wasn't Rand, a bandwagon started to form fast, with David Hermes, Mynd, Davidoftherushes, Alanna, and Blackhoof jumping on and Amadine, Aemon, and Verbal already on. TMD also joined later. Also at that time, when it looked like Red was gonna get lynched, Aemon said he was SURE he was the real Dragon Reborn.

 

So my suspicions list, in approximate order:

1)TMD

2)Blackhoof

3)Aemon

4)BG

5)Mynd

6)Alanna

7)Kwom

 

Again, approximate. I think I got all my top suspicions. Although, I'd like to hear from Trench.

 

Vote TMD for now. Thoughts?

Well those that mentioned putting pressure on Kwom, two votes isn't going to do much. Kwom you admitted you visited Red, but why were you visiting Red?

Voting for someone doesn't neccessarily mean you are going to lynch someone. That's what unvoting is for. Do you have any thoughts on anything other than the dragon reborn stuff. Alot more is going on than that.

 

 

Also I see a lot of people lurking who haven't said anything at all today. You should probably start participating soon as lurking is antitown ^^

The above is a paraphrase of about half of the recent posts made. Seriously, trying too hard to look innocent reeks of scum. If you have truly done a re-read, there is no need to withhold commentary. It's time to cast some votes.

 

Also, let's be clear, I am not convinced that I am the Dragon Reborn, I just wanted to see what would happen if I made such a claim. Apparently, nothing happened at all. If Red 'al Thor is indeed in the game, I don't think he would declare himself in such a way. Anyone truly claiming to be the Dragon Reborn is likely not the true Carne asada Carn.
