Why reveal finder day one, knowing nothing at all? Or is it an item power? That's dangerous to let out in the open Aemon, but I shouldn't have to tell you that, there's something else in play here. Also, why reveal being the finder if the Dragon is enough for people not to lynch you already? I'm becoming frustrated with all these added confusions.

The bolded section where you claim to know for a fact that I am not the Dragon Reborn. That was either a half reveal or you are just lying through your teeth to try and get me lynched today. I am calling you scum. You have now claimed to know something and that something and I know that what you have claimed is false

 

once again you ignore my question about your character. because i know that you are not Rand AlThor and there for are NOT the true Dragon.

 

my clam is not false because of the info i have recieved in my role PM. but i am bound by my three oaths not to reveal this information on pain of death, nor would i want to for it will give the shadow more information that i'd perfer for them to have.

 

you are not Rand AlThor, nor do you come from the Two Rivers. What you are, I don't know; I only know right now that you are a False Dragon, and I feel that your intentions for claiming this will only lead to strife for those of us who walk in the Light; False Dragons have only lead to war and death, and it is my duty, my reason for life, to protect the true Dragon as best as I can to makes sure he walks in the Light in the Last Battle.

 

 

i was willing to vote David, for i feel that he is also a Dark Friend. but you forcing me to reveal, coupled with how you are swaying the town is forcing my to instead move my vote to you.

 

we need a controlled lynch, the Wheel my Weave as the Whee Wills; but for the sake of the Light, this False Dragon must be done away with.

 

 

 

also, i asked Wombat what all i could reveal, and the things he told me i couldnt also leads me to believe that if Aemons Role PM told him he was the Dragon, that he wouldn't be able to say "my PM told me i'm the Dragon"

I have a question, or something like that for you Red. . . does Aemon lying necessarily make him scum? And, since it doesn't, why vote a claimed Finder whether he's telling the truth about that too or not? (Note, this is NOT asking the real finder, if there is one to disprove him)

 

If anything, unless this is some day one "thing" (I don't want to call it gambit OOPS!) between Aemon and Red, it doesn't make me want to vote EITHER of them at the moment, and I trust neither of you.

I actually agree with you AJ. Weird. Anyway, I know it's been said before but just because Aemon may not be Rand, he could still be good. Logain thought himself the DR and he is good. But he could also be bad. But right now he's claiming finder and you never lynch a claimed power role on Day 1. Remember Kivs Avatar game, and how Kivs got a little PO'd in the game that we lynched Lanfear right off the bat. I of course led that lynch so I know how much mafia wants to get rid of a claimed power role on Day 1. If you're town Red I'd back off. If you're mafia, just go right ahead and keep doing what you're doing ^^

as to #4 AJ, you misunderstand or twist my meaning.  i didn't say that Aemon couldnt claim just that i dont believe he could tell us his PM said he was the Dragon.

 

 

 

 

for the question, its how adament Aemon is that he's the True Dragon, which he isn't.  i can see no benefit to having a false Dragon kept around, especially since people are treating him as if he is the Real Dragon.  i don't want him to get the healers Protection, and also having him around is not safe for Rand when & if he proclaims himself.  it could lead to either us lynching Rand or the scum being able to NK him.

 

i'm not saying that he can't be either Logain or Taim, all i'm saying is that he isn't Rand AlThor, the true Dragon Reborn.  he very well could be Logain and being forced to claim Dragon to activate a role; but his actions (professing that he is the REAL Dragon, and his manipulation and actions) make me think that if he is a False Dragon, he's more likely to be Taim and a Dark Friend.   again, the only thing i know for sure is that he is not Rand AlThor.

 

as for the finder claim, i'm not buying it either.  i know he's lieing about being the true Dragon, so why would i believe his claim of a role that was only given to him for "revealing" as the Dragon.   

 

 

 

 

and in a game this big, i'm sure we have multiple finder type roles.

 

 

 

 

as for the possability of a gambit, i'm not surprised someone hasn't called this before.  but when i get killed, please don't let my allignement clear him.

The answer is easy, AJ. I was told in my role PM that I am The Dragon Reborn. How else would I know who I am? How would claiming the role of Dragon Reborn even be possible if I had not been informed that I, in fact, am the Dragon Reborn.

You can reveal your abilities if you want. You cannot reveal information that hints at your specific character except for declaring as the Dragon Reborn.

I didn't clarify #4 well enough Red, rules was referring to the OP where Wombat said he didn't put characters into anyones role PM, so nobody can be sure but they can be "pretty sure" about who they are. For myself, I know exactly who I am.

 

Though, since anyone can claim the Dragon, even if it was in his PM, then he is able to claim it, but the fact that Characters are NOT in PMs means that he's lying, right?

see, i take it that Rand can claim as the Dragon, but can't tell us "it said i'm the Dragon in my PM"

 

i don't know if role PMs concerning Rand, Taim & Logain would mention them having claimed Dragon in the books would be included; but i would think that if said info was included that they wouldn't be able to reveal that.

 

 

 

 

it doesn't prevent them from claiming Dragon, it just prevents them from paraphrasing their PM to back up the claim.  for myself, because i knew i would eventually have to reveal info because of how hard i'm going after Aemon, i asked Wombat a lot of specific questions about my own PM and what info i could reveal.  i'd urge anyone else who is forced to reveal stuff to do the same to avoid being MKd.

I chose to reveal that the power I received was finde for two reasons: 1) red is pushing sobhard to lynch me that I wanted it out there early so we don't run into a siuation where we go to a no lynch because there isn't enough time before deadline tofind another viable candidate and 2) being the dragon has already made me the top choice for an NK so letting people know right now doesn't change my situation concerning being NKed and if I find scum tonight I can reveal it straight out instead of trying to subtly guide the the town to the right choice.

You, however, keep dancing around the question of why you believe I am a false dragon. You then tell everyone to make sure that your alignment doesn't clear me. That sounds like you know you will flip scum and want people to lynch me anyway once you are dead.

I think she was trying to hint at it, Aemon, when she said that she was bound by the Three Oaths not to talk about it. Except that the Three Oaths don't bind someone to not tell a secret, they bind someone not to tell a lie. So I she's hinting that she's Aes Sedai and therefore is not lying when she's saying that you are not the DR. However, there are Black Ajah in the game I'm sure, sooooo I still don't know.

Grrr...hit the wrong button. My point with the bolded sections of that post is that 1) she keeps calling me false and blatantly says she knows it without saying how except that she is not a finder. 2) She throws out the possibility of multiple finder type rioles in the hopes of getting people to go ahead and lynch me.
