I assume you are referring to this. I will not renounce because I truly am the Dagon Reborn. And your "I'll believe you if you admit you are lying" play is really making me scratch my head. How is that in any way a logical progression of thought?

 

I don't claim that you are lying unless you are indeed Dark. My guess is that you don't know that you are a False Dragon, as Logain did not know. I would hope that you would realize that before you get hurt. I don't want to lynch you if you are the Dragon Reborn. But if you are truly the Dragon Reborn, there should be signs of your coming. ;) Take Callandor, talk to me in my Dreams in TAR, Channel for crying out loud, do something besides say "Trust Me!" You should be all sorts of powerful/knowledgeable if you are the DR. (I realize that most of things aren't really possible in this game I think, but you must have some something to go off of)

 

Also what do you mean by Finder? Because there are Finders in WoT that locate any person at any time (Moiraine's coins to the boys). Or is that a Mafia finder?

Aemon, how do you KNOW? Unless you were told in your Role PM that you are the DR, which you weren't told, you don't know, so WE don't know.

 

I'll unvote for now because I'm still unsure about what to think, but Aemon is dead-set on proclaiming his Dragon status, perhaps a PR? Or maybe not.. just a suggestion, please don't run wild with it people.

That is the same PM that told me ibhad to proclaim my stays before Day 4 to get my power or stay vanilla the entire game. I like vanilla as much as the next guy, but I wanted to see what Wombat had cooked up for me after th reveal so I went for it. And I'm glad I did. There are a lot of things going on right now that give me ideas on who might be scum already and it will be nice to know for sure.

8. No claiming or hinting at characters. In fact, I will not be including characters in role PMs. No doubt many of you will be able to divine which character you are through information I have given you. You are still not to claim or hint at ANY character (including false claims and hints). You are allowed to reveal abilities, but not the flavor titles I gave you. If you are unsure whether or not you can say something, ask me first.

 

There is one exception to this rule. Any player may feel free to declare on thread that he or she is the Dragon Reborn.

I'm thinking several people were told they are the Dragon Reborn but are actually false dragons without realizing it; I know that has been brought up, but it's where I'm leaning for now. Until one of you can officially PROVE that you are the dragon (which is near impossible), I think I wont believe your claim. Though, Aemon's insistence that he's the DR does reek of a PR. . . I'd love to go back and check his posts but it may take a while.

 

Well enough, bgrishinko. Are you a darkfriend?

Aemon, I'll beg your indulgence if you think I'm doubting you, but I'm doubting you. I don't remember offhand who brought it up, and I don't have time to look back (sorry, original idea person, between classes), but I'm inclined to agree that there will be people in the game who are False Dragon roles, whether they are aware of the fact or not. This does not mean that they're evil (again, sorry original idea person), which is why I question lynching a DR claim outright. If nothing else, there might be a character modifier that makes him go mad. That would be fun to watch.

MIGRAINE ANYONE? I know that I have one! My first reaction to Aemon's reveal was that he was just seeing what would happen. I have to admit, I was thinking about claiming it just to see what would happen...there was a bit much attention put on that one statement "ANYBODY CAN PROCLAIM THE DRAGON REBORN AT ANYTIME" I was still pretty convinced of this until his finder reveal. Now our only true, logical choice would be to let him survive the night and go from there. No, I'm not trying to defend him, but I also don't want to lose our finder Day 1 again! I'm still very curious as to what would happen if anybody else claims the DR in the same day as Aemon. Are there consequences? Are there rewards?

 

Verbal, you are right...I shouldn't have backed off Song for the reason that I did. Although it wouldn't have done me any good as she refused to address the topic again, which is why my vote remains on Song. I still don't understand why she gave the information that she did in the manner that she did, but I have a feeling she's still gonna ignore me on this so....

So Aemon, now you're the Dragon Reborn AND the finder.. next you're going to proclaim that you are the healer too? Finder seems a really odd ability to give to the dragon reborn.

 

Easy enough to claim finder and then float through the rest of the game without giving any mafia results - of course you'd be able to identify innocent people if you're mafia. There is also the possibility that you're fake-claiming and hoping to draw out the real finder. I'm not going to buy any this until you find us a member of the mafia.

Ok, now we have aemon saying that he is both DR and a finder.

bgrishinko has now hinted at being the finder, which would explain why he wants aemon to retract his claims.

Why are reveals being done so early in the game? Aemon gave the reason that he gains a power by revealing, so fair enough, but bgrishinko's tentative reveal is so out of place. Unless bgrishinko wants to make aemon look scummy.
