Personal History:

Jahier was the youngest of three brothers. His father was a soldier and his mother an artist. They lived in Shol Arbela, The City of Ten Thousand Bells. His father died in an attack on one of the outlying villages near the blight when Jahier was only seven years old. His mother did not have to raise her sons alone. She had help from his father’s brothers in raising Jahier and his brothers. Jahier’s uncles taught him and his brothers everything they needed to know to be men. His uncles instilled a strict code into Jahier and his brothers: persevere in spite of danger and stand up for what is right. After five years of training under his uncles, he was excelling in: woods craft, hand-to-hand combat, and swordsmanship.

During Jahier’s time training with his uncles, something happened to him that he had never thought of before; he fell in love with a girl named Lanai. Lanai was the only daughter of one of the most renowned officials in Arafel. They met at one of his mother’s art exhibits and quickly fell for one another. Around Lanai’s twelfth naming day she came to Jahier’s house with wonderful news, she was going to the White Tower to become an Aes Sedai. Jahier was very supportive of her decision and did not make leaving any harder than it needed to be. Jahier decided that he would follow Lanai to the White Tower to study to become a warder.

Warder training was very demanding, but he knew that if he got through it he would be a warder worthy to be with Lanai. His already large physique expanded into a quite imposing figure. Whenever he thought about dropping out he remember what his uncles told him, to persevere no matter what. The weapons training they had given him was being pushed to its limit. As the intensity of their training increased Jahier and Lanai began losing touch with each other.

As the years passed they saw less and less of each other. Finally, after Jahier’s twenty-sixth naming day, Lanai had completed her training; she was now a full Aes Sedai. As soon as he heard Lanai had passed her test, Jahier ran to the Tower to find her. As Jahier searched for Lanai he experienced a moment of doubt. The instant he saw her, he knew she was still the same wonderful woman he fell in love with. They talked for hours just telling each other about their lives. Then came one of the happiest moments in Jahier’s life, Lanai asked him to be her warder.

After two years of happiness, Jahier asked Lanai to marry him. When she said yes, it seemed to him that nothing could ever go wrong. Time would soon tell, as it often does, that he was wrong. Shortly before they were to start their return to Shol Arbela for the wedding, Jahier and Lanai stopped in a village for the night to replenish their supplies and rest. Little did they know that a wandering patrol of the Children of the Light in the area had spotted Lanai and recognized her for an Aes Sedai. When Jahier and Lanai started for the store to purchase the supplies, the patrol ambushed them from the darkness and Lanai was killed in a hail of arrows. In that moment of seeing Lanai shot, he exploded his rage and fury on the Children. As the ashes of the Children were still smoldering, he bent down beside Lanai and wept.

An Asha’man recruiting party in the area felt this use of Saidin and decided to investigate. They found Jahier wailing from loss and told him about the Black Tower. Jahier screamed for them to leave them alone and started to attack the recruiters. The Asha’man, far more skilled in Saidin, wrapped him up in a flow of Air and told him that the Black Tower could offer him true vengeance. Jahier leapt at the chance and told the recruiters that he would accept their offer after he laid Lanai to rest in his family’s burial ground. When he returned to Shol Arbela, he told his mother and Lanai’s father what had transpired. Jahier’s mother told him to stay, but he refused. The only thing on Jahier mind was the promise of vengeance; he was off to the Black Tower.

*Bio Checker Note* Due to the ... fragile ... mental state this character is likely to be in, he is required to have a significant channeling block to protect him from Saidin. The chosen block is that he cannot channel unless a nearby woman is in danger.

One thing that needs changing here. Lanai would not be accepted at the age of 12 by the WT. She would need to be at least 13, and even that is pushing the boundaries.

However, that is not the main character in this bio. So bearing what i have said above, this bio is cross checked by the WT

Yeah, I noticed that, but liberties were made to accomodate age in the later part of the bio. There had to be an adequate amount of time for her to actually finish Aes Sedai training, but they also had to be within the acceptable sparking age for him as well. Kind of ended up being at the extreme end for both.

I'll raise you one year in age ... wait, wrong game.

Uhm ... if you make her 13 + 1 year of happiness, that should cover all bases and everyone will be happy, yes?

ps: Elgee responding because Owen is on a short LoA.
