Well, I have to say it is surprising to be at L-1 for choosing not to react to Mynd's obvious poking. There is really nothing I can add to what I have said. My saying that he was bandwagoning was a joke. I was fully aware that there were only 2 votes at the time. Again, it was day 1 playfulness that Mynd has successfully turned into a reason to lynch. It seems the only way to live through the day is to reveal, so...I have a one time finder ability. I'll use it tonight now that it's out. I'll even understand if you want to lynch me tomorrow to test the truth of my reveal, but I dont think we should let this ability go to waste.

Well, that's interesting, for at least a few reasons. I kinda feel that Aemon may no longer have a one-shot finder ability. (Trigger = First reveal). I'm inclined to believe that Aemon was innocent until now (But who knows what he is now :D).

 

Let's see, Mynd, Krak, Kiv, T and M (honestly, anyone that refers to themself as a pural entity must be scum)..hell now I've gone and lost count. Let me start over.

Within context, this is either an extremely suspicious or careless move. This is Mynd's post to which Aemon was replying:

Clearly, Aemon is not making a serious post about people he was actually suspicious of. Especially considering that if he was being serious, it would depend on his being scum.

And concerning the game:

 

Aemon's reveal is worth jumping off of him and seeing where it leads us. But I will state that something feels off about it to me. Just seems a bit convenient a claim. And Wes's apparent reply to it is no confirmation, and could have been related to something else entirely. However, that is shuffling through the hay with a rather small toothbrush. Not trying to cast doubt, simply stating my own gut feelings on the matter. Take them as you will.

 

Hybrids rather indepth casing has me inclined to believe him at the moment. In my opinion, most scum wouldn't take the time. Most wouldn't.

 

Well, at least we know who to lynch first.

 

lol...actually, if I survive Night 1, then I'm likely Mafia. So hold off until Day 2 before lynching me, k?

 

From the Mynd himself. If he survives Night 1, we lynch him. Enough said.

 

But really, Mynd gunning for someone who turns up to be a finder is no shocker. Innocent or scum, be he.

 

My reactions are constantly misunderstood, so I do sympathize with Song there. However, with the need to be objective, I must state that her original reaction did not concern me, only her defensiveness towards the queries of that reaction.

 

I actually find Lily more suspect now.

This feels like a casual way of posting without giving any input and giving oneself enough time to prepare their next post. Honest feeling, and why my vote will go to her.

Regarding Song - I don't think she sees what Mynd did as a lure - I think she's taking what Mynd said at face value.... or it could just be that she's being obstinate.

 

Song, if you could respond to this - did you truly believe that Mynd was serious in the post that you famosly 'overreacted' to?

Another quick bandwagon. It’s a minor ping (Aust hadn't even bothered to vote prior to this, but all of a sudden he wants to consolidate votes), as are all the other quick bandwagon posts. But on the other hand, Aust’s post makes the most sense and is the cleanest out of all of them.

 

 

 

 

Why didn't you respond? Either you didn't read it, or you chose not to respond. With as much pressure on you as there has been, I think it would be irresponsible for a townie to just miss a post asking a question to clarify your motives. I even threw you a soft ball with the question, giving you every opportunity to resolve what might have been a very simple misunderstanding.

 

If you chose simply not to respond, well I think we could interpret something from that.

 

So could you answer the original question (I bolded it in the quote) and also speak to why you didn't respond?

I didn't just purposely ignore the question. I have just been really distracted by the holidays, I had tons of family over and they didn't like me being on the computer, so I must've just missed it. Yes I took it seriously. I think you should take most things in this game seriously, even if they are said in jest. Some things could veiled in jokes. Also I've only played one and a half games with mynd, and there's a couple people playing that I haven't played with before so I also like to poke or "overreact" to gauge peoples reactions. If some of you wil remember I did the same thing to Lanth in that Halloween game and you guys thought I was crazy, but I totally ended up right *shrugs* Sorry some of ya'll don't like it, but I find it effective, except when the person it's directed toward doesn't even react, but everyone else does... lol

Thank you for finally answering - it is not about whether I like or dislike your style - to each their own. However, the consequence of it in this particular game is that you run the risk of either not being taken seriously, or people will assume you're scum trying to stir up trouble - and then you really dug your heels in on the matter.

To be honest, my number one suspect right now is T and M for pretty much being the first to buy into Mynd's poking and turn it onto a full-fledged hunt. I know it's not much to go on, but until I finish my reread it's the only thing I've got. I will leave my vote on Mynd for the moment for pressure's sake but will more than likely change it before we reach deadline or majority.

Okay, I just heard back from Wes to be sure I could share this. I know why there are no deadlines. Aemon's reveal was not the trigger. The time we are taking lynching someone was. Which makes me a tad nervous. I don't think he would reward us for that, so whatever happened probably isn't a good thing. I'm not proposing that we speed lynch someone but we probably ought to get pretty serious about pressuring people now.

Also, Kiv I know what you mean. Well...technically I don't, but I was supposed to be in NY from the 27-31 and our flight was cancelled due to the absurd amounts of snow. Next year however...and I'll be 21 which means anyone who wanted to catch a drink in Manhattan, well I'd be 200% down for that shite! Also, I might be in NY over the summer, so if I am, I'll let some peeps know because I turn 21 in January.

 

On a game related note, I think Hybrid did a good job with his observations. I would say that Song and Alanna are looking scummiest at this point, but mainly Song. Also, it's a good read of the situation, but he also points out scumminess in about 4-6 different people, all of whom can't be mafia. This fact makes me want to look closer at Hybrid, his general and partially ambiguous accusations (depending on which person he looked at) could be a ploy to look town by casting suspicion on multiple people. If only one person flips mafia out of those, I think Hybrid is our next bet.
