Alys: I'm only presenting as many possible outcomes as I can see/type before my fingers fall off. I agree that the summary isn't helpful for voting because obviously most of the scenarios are mutually exclusive and some are much much more likely to be true than others.

 

I suppose scenario one should have been two scenarios. It all depends on whether you expect to do die or not. If you didn't expect to die because of your 'reveal' and you are a wolf, why wouldn't you protect your teammates at the same time? However, this is unlikely because it is just that up in the air that I don't believe you would risk it. If you were a wolf I'd say you'd name an innocent and watch them get pulled down by our suspicions as soon as we'd disposed of you. So either way I guess Dem is innocent.

 

Angyl's 'slip' was her refering to the people not yet here, yes? She was referring to them as a distinct group from the people who were here at the time. We are here, they are elsewhere.

 

As far as I'm concerned, the odds are that you're both innocent.

 

But Alys, we'll never know about you until you're dead. If we leave you alive we can still never take your readings but with a grain of salt, because you would be ideally placed to manipulate us, as a wolf. A fact that the wolves will surely play on if you're innocent. It would be chaos.

 

It might be better to keep you alive for one more day to see what happens, but ... what if the wolves don't kill you? Are you one of them or they just hoping we'll lynch you while they munch on people who aren't doomed yet, or will they just take advantage of the controversy they can create with you in the picture?

Ultimately, our best ally is certainty. The only way we take full advantage of your knowledge, the only way that the wolves can't refute it, is when we have certainty that you are who you say you are. And that only comes with you dead.

So anyone who doesn't want utter chaos, lynch the seer. And once we know for sure, turn around and lynch all the people she suspected as wolves.

 

So yes, it would have better all round if the Alys bandwagon hadn't started (yeah I know, I voted early and rather arbitrarily for her), but it did and she revealed. And now, sadly, we have to kill her to be sure, because even having her alive and on our side is an uncertain thing now. It's not a risk I'm about to take.

Hmmm. The first person to come out and post "I'm the seer" in the first game turned out to be a werewolf. I think the villagers would've had a chance, if they had not been sucked in by the false seers story. It was a ploy to direct voting away from themselves, and Egwene was the only one who didn't fall for it. Not that that is necessarily the case here. I had no suspicions of Alys. Like I stated, I voted Alys because I drew a name at random. As a matter of fact, if Alys is in fact the seer, I would rather be lynched than to see our angel or seer out of the game.

well rigth now i dont know up from down..theories in both direction can be rigth...that i am a clumsy oaf is no news i had the angel lynched in the first game and then i where killed myself by the wolves...i am trying to at least survive more then a couple days this time but with my luck i'll end up pissing of some wolvies again ...wheter it be that it is alys or she is seer and someone else is a wolf...

If my italics threaten you, by all means, lynch me. The villagers will be down by 2, but won't have lynched a roled player, so I can take a small comfort in that.

first off, griefy, you are only making me suspect you more. second off, if the villagers don't kill me, then the wolves don't kill me, i have already stated that i know the villagers will do it the second time around. i would like to be able to hand out more information, but it is only the second day. i only have one confirmation. and again, i covered angyl's question as well. the only reason siry got away with posing as the seer is the end of the game had come. it was pretty much the last vote. so where is my benefit in revealing???? seer means i am lynched or eaten barring the angel's intervention. werewolf means i am lynched today or tomorrow. the only benefit i see is to give you whatever info i have found or suspect to add to your own. mistrust it now if you want, but tonight when raena is forced to say you killed me, the seer, you will have had all the help i could give before it was too late.

Calm down. I had, in fact, considered changing my vote. And I have as many against me as Alys. As a matter of fact, when I was typing my last vote, I came incredibly close to doing so, only I had enough of a grain of suspicion that I didn't, but assumed others would. I really and truly do not want to see a roled player get lynched, and so, even with the small doubt that I have, I change my vote to Danya. For some reason, she's really gunning for me this round. I guess that's understandable, since I was so convinced she was a werewolf in game 1. The guilt over lynching our seer and ending that game has kept me from doing that again.
